In a day and age when qualified, ethical, experienced, fairly-priced, communicative attorneys are as rare as a Sumatran rhino, along comes Desmond Tuck. I have been working with Mr. Tuck for over 20 years on various issues, most notably matters involving real estate. Without delving into details, I can safely say that you will be unlikely to find anyone better if you tried. He knows the law, but he also knows how to make it work to your advantage. Most importantly, he will never tell you what you want to hear just so you hire him. If you want a lawyer to sugar-coat and tell you things to make you feel nice (when they are undeserved), he is not the one for you. If, on the other hand, you want to receive help that is based on reality and in the context of our disastrously dysfunctional California legal system, Mr. Tuck is the only one I would count on. Knowing how to navigate the system in a logical, rationale, and informed manner is one of his biggest (of many) strengths. As far as trust is concerned, I know that is a concern of many when it comes to lawyers in general. So, imagine a world where you were 100% sure your lawyer was expertly looking out for your best interest without doing it all just to keep the meter running. Sound too good to be true? You haven’t called Mr. Tuck yet. After all this time being his client, I trust him more than some in my own family. So, there you have it: trustworthy, ethical, experienced, extremely competent, informed, and fair in every way. He redeems all those “other” lawyers…you know who they are.

I was in an innuendo with my Home Purchase. We went through all the steps with due diligence since we have been on a contract. The Seller refused to sign on the day of the closing and went hiding. Not knowing what to do, I have been referred to Atty. Desmond Tuck. I will get to the point instead of adorning him with tons of adjectives, which he deserves by all means. Atty. Desmond was able to analyze and derive the possibilities within 30 minutes of the initial consultation. Without any delay he acted on my case putting a lis pendens on the property and getting ready to prepare the seller perform per the contract as per the law. i.e., Specific Performance through Arbitration. His letters to the opposite side was intransigent, coherent and extremely clear about what we are pursuing. He acted on the case promptly making the seller come out of the hideout and offering to pay damage for walking away from the deal. He negotiated on my behalf and obtained about 10% sales price of the purchase contract + all the out of pocket costs which included my escrow deposit, litigation costs, cost of inspection and appraisal. He made all that happen in a matter of 20 days. Here are few things that make him an outstanding lawyer. Plain fact and no gibberish. He does a due diligence in keeping you informed. I am an Engineer and so good with numbers. He derives possible outcomes of a litigation from his wealth of experience and intuition which tells me he has actually paid attention at his law school. He has the correct education and handles your case putting himself in your shoes. He possesses exemplary work ethics and he is an honest human being who would not just go by the texts. He will work with you and make a plan that is most appropriate for you. He will consider your limitation and take or advise steps that you would be comfortable with. He could have gone on with my case and make himself more money. But instead he advised me to full stop to it knowing my objective was not to deal with court but to find a suitable home. He worked towards helping my broker get his fees although he was under no obligation to put any effort there. In addition to that, he is a very approachable human being you would actually like to talk to and get to know as well. I could not be happier with his service. A top-notch lawyer and I would call him an Ideal Lawyer. Coming from a different country and culture, being with the top academic and professional peers in my life, it is definitely not difficult for me to attest to someone’s intelligence and quality. Atty. Desmond Tuck is a A+ scorer in my list. He will by far exceed your expectation of a lawyer. A friend in need indeed. Back in early 2015, my wife and I did a thorough research and interviewed quite a few Bay Area immigrant lawyer and picked Jennifer. I feel so blessed and lucky that we found her and worked with her for 3 years and finally got our green card in early 2018!
Jennifer is indeed very professional with a broad knowledge from O1 to all categories of EB1/2 and with an extensive, successful and detailed experience regarding the qualification screening, preparation, application process and even interview preparation. She always kept tracking and updating her clients about the latest immigration policy changes including all the nuances that the applicant should care about and prepare her clients accordingly. Very diligent and responsible and intelligent. She gained our trust very soon and have never ever disappointed us.
Beyond that, Jennifer is very reliable and empathetic, she understands her client's anxiety and nervous, always give them confidence and support as needed, checking in with advice and suggestions regularly so that we will not feel lost. I recently purchased a new home and decided that it was a great time to establish a plan for the future. Honesty, I had no clue what an estate plan really was and the difference between a will, trust, etc. Loung Law came highly recommended to me by one of my friends. Bob Gundert is a man is integrity. Bob is highly qualified and is highly respected in the court room. We hired Bob twice. The first time was for help in getting me out of a seemingly iron clad contract that I signed under pressure and impulsively. The second time Bob helped us was with getting our money from a travel insurance policy after we had to cancel a 3 week vacation.
The contract I signed was with an international (US and Canada) music education company and was very specific about the only acceptable way to cancel the contract. Bob researched CA law and found a legal precedent that I used to get out of the contract. I received a full refund two days after the company received Bob's letter.
Regarding the dispute with the insurance company, in one visit with Bob, he was able to give us several arguments to use in dealing with them. He also told us the choices we had, besides going to court, in pursuing our case. The company initially denied our claim due to an oversight on our part. However, the company reopened our case and it is now under review after they received a letter from Bob, enumerating the detailed and logical arguments favorable to us. Based on the legal options that Bob gave us, if we aren't successful at this point, we can and will pursue our case on our own.

Bob Gundert is the most amazing attorney. I was in crisis mode due to an unexpected real estate problem, but he was unflappable and handled it calmly. He always called, emailed, texted, and followed up when he said he would; I never needed to remind him about anything. In fact, he reminded *me* of things I needed to do. When I was nervous and worried, he took my calls even if he was in a meeting; he calmed me down, never belittling me when I didn't know something. I can't tell you the specifics, but Bob was an excellent negotiator with the other side's attorney.
I am wary about lawyers in general, but Bob is truly the exception. I recommend him highly and without reserve. If I could, I would put a halo over his head!

I consulted with Alex about a real estate deal I had in mind. He was very prompt and apprised me of different issues I hadn't thought of.

I called Alex Biddle as a referral from my nephew since my family was looking for an attorney to review of my parents Living Trust. At the time, we were very anxious to get this done as soon as possible. Alex was very prompt at returning my call and immediately set up a time to give him copies of the trust. However, the next day my family instructed me to hold off on the review. He was very understanding of my request even though he had already spent several hours of his time. Despite my willingness to pay him, he waived his fees and also spend time scanning the lengthy documents back. When my family decides to have the trust reviewed, I will not hesitate to use his services again. It was a pleasure to work with Alex even though it was short lived. I had contact Priya's team for an Urgent second opinion consultation after my H1b transfer denial. Her team was not only courteous but set up quick appointment nest day. Though my phone consultation was 30 mins we went above that time and Priya not only calmed our nerves but provided detailed explanation and more factual laws about re-application. Long story short we landed up forcing my employer to change attorney's last minute as we were afraid and Priya and her team only had 8 days with a weekend before my deadline for reapplication. Priya and her team made it possible to file the re-submission 1 day before the due date and we got an approval of H1b transfer without an RFE which is miraculous in todays time. Jessica was referred to me by a local non-profit that supports domestic violence survivors for her experience in that field. It can be very difficult to communicate your case or make really tough decisions that will impact your life during emotionally complex times, but Jessica was able to make the process something to be navigated, not feared. During the consultation, Jessica took time to assess what my personal goals were after the divorce. The compassion and respect she provided is not something I had experienced in prior attorney-client interactions. My personal goals were honored throughout the case.
Jessica developed strategic approaches to major decision paths and was transparent with possible outcomes of each. She didn't promise me an outcome, rather she helped identify the possible pros and cons of each move (both long and short term). It helped me to come to informed conclusions with how I wanted to proceed.
What is really unique about Jessica is that it's her client's wishes that matter, not what the court wants or what every other case is about. Aprox five years or so ago, I was facing a 14601 with i think six priors. From experience, I know that S.M. Co. does NOT give leniency of any kind to these types of offenses. Especially after the first one. several years prior i got 60 days on the weekend work program for one with four priors. I was transferred from Santa Clara county after serving a couple months. I wasn't in the mood for another stretch. longer than the one i just served for a worse charge. I'm proud to say I/m no longer a menace to society, and haven't been for years. Carlos was a bit pricey for a driving on suspended case, but when He walked into the court room, the judges face lit up, compliments were exchanged, and after a minute or two this awesome legal rep that put my last lawyer, that should be on prop 36 as well. To shame. Walked up to me, and said 200.00 fine paid over 2 months, and your done. WOW. it was worth every cent. Thank You Carlos You saved my rear end.

I called Mr Frye after my wife had passed away and Prudential was denying accidental benefits. John listened to my case over the phone, after aggreeing to represent me, handled everything from there. It took a couple months, however in the end, Prudential reversed there decision. John and his staff kept me informed with the process along the way, handled everything from the day he took over, with the exception of a couple things I handeled locally, which was given to me as an option and helped to lower my costs and expedite things. I have already recommended Mr Frye to a friend for help with a similiar case and would without reserve recommend him to anybody. He came highly recommended as an expert in these type cases, and I believe he demonstrated this personally.
