Aprox five years or so ago, I was facing a 14601 with i think six priors. From experience, I know that S.M. Co. does NOT give leniency of any kind to these types of offenses. Especially after the first one. several years prior i got 60 days on the weekend work program for one with four priors. I was transferred from Santa Clara county after serving a couple months. I wasn't in the mood for another stretch. longer than the one i just served for a worse charge. I'm proud to say I/m no longer a menace to society, and haven't been for years. Carlos was a bit pricey for a driving on suspended case, but when He walked into the court room, the judges face lit up, compliments were exchanged, and after a minute or two this awesome legal rep that put my last lawyer, that should be on prop 36 as well. To shame. Walked up to me, and said 200.00 fine paid over 2 months, and your done. WOW. it was worth every cent. Thank You Carlos You saved my rear end.

I recently used Stacey to help me with my legal rights against my ex husband who wanted to discontinue alimony payments. Stacey was very patient with helping me understand my rights and my position and encouraged me to pursue what I was legally owed, even when that situation seemed bleak. Great lawyer. I had been to 3 previous lawyers with my divorce case and Mr. Davis turned the case around even though he said he did not think he could repair the damage that had already been done. I did not get everything I should have gotten but I sure got more than I had already lost due to 3 previous incompetent lawyers. He was very aggressive and the other attorney could not keep up wih him.

I hired Matt Metzger in a bankruptcy case where I was the creditor. He usually works on the behalf of the debtor. The debtor cheated myself and 49 other creditors, then fled to bankruptcy court to escape her debt. So this was a different case for Matt who normally works for the other side, but could be an advantage since he would know their usual strategy.
Matt is an energetic, hard working, and innovative attorney. To say that he is a multitasker underestimates all that's going on in his head. He is good at looking for and finding "out of the box" solutions to legal problems. His persistence and diligent hard work ultimately pays off. I only had one issue with Matt, he wanted me to settle at a sum that I felt was insulting and ridiculous so I refused. The debtor ultimately came up to my sum and we settled. I would recommend Matt to anyone who needs legal assistance in the realm of bankruptcy. I don't think you will find a better or harder working attorney. BTW, he appears to have a solo practice, unusual these days but seems to fit his lifestyle.

BEWARE, Mike Prozan is a HORRIBLE and DISHONEST attorney!!!!! I do NOT recommend him. He is the WORST attorney I have ever had.
Mike Prozan does NOT care about your case details nor does he care about you. I paid him a lot of money yet he did very little work and did a TERRIBLE job. He did NOT even know the basic case details. He also overcharged me, and he is extremely RUDE. He will charge you huge amounts of money while doing the LEAST amount of work possible!!!
