If you want a lawyer who shakes in court, can’t answer questions the judge asks, overcharges you, doesn’t communicate when they make decisions days before a court appearance and your lawyer doesn’t appear or call to let you know they are sending someone else, neglects to listen, or appropriately respond to billing questions then these are the Lawyers for you! I wanted to like them and thought my case was pretty straightforward, however, instead of just worrying about my case I have been worrying about the terrible services provided by Colwell and what they will do next to disappoint.

Mr. Chatwin is a hidden gem I stumbled on years ago, and he has helped me out immeasurably over the year with my traffic issues (most notably a lead foot in my youth..). When I got a ticket for the first time in over 10 years just a few weeks ago, I was so relieved to see he was still practicing. Not only was the whole mess over fairly quickly, his swift and exceptionally competent action likely saved me plenty on my car insurance. His rates are very reasonable. Please call Mr. Chatwin instead of taking on the courts by yourself, you won't regret it!

Has a good record of performing at trial, or in court. I use him mostly for evicting tenants, and he always seems to know what he is doing. I've seen other attorneys have trouble. Good record of getting them out, even when tenant had a good case.

Ken has defended myself, my friends and my family on a number of charges from traffic tickets to DUI to criminal felonies and has always been extremely professional and knowledgeable.
He initially represented me when I was charged with DUI. He expertly guided me through the pleading process and ensured that I was treated fairly and that both the police and prosecution performed their duties to the highest possible standards. I have kept him on retainer since and reach out to him often for guidance and advice.
He is held in high regard in the Syracuse area; I have never seen him enter a court room without having the judge greet him personally. He is of the highest ethical standards and will speak to you as a human.
There is a reason Ken has the reputation he does - he has earned it through his diligent work and high standards. I would look to no one else for representation.

He worked with both the District Attorney and the location of court (East Syracuse), to resolve my case. Mr.Walters changed and renewed my faith in lawyers and the justice system. He stood by my son and helped us as a family to understand the legal aspects of the case.
