I had a consultation with Rachel this morning about my case. I have a modification case coming up for trial, and Rachel was able to give me answers about the law that my current representation was falling short of explaining. I had consulted with Miss Bernier or legal advice on a divorce. My divorce was not normal by any means. I had to do with a high profile case in twined with my divorce. Because of that, it made it a very lengthy and expensive battle. Mrs. Vernier and her co-council were absolutely amazing. Everyone was willing to do everything they could to help me win my case. On a personal note, she would do everything she could to keep me saying and help me on the emotional side of the case. It was very long and drawn out, but in the end, things ended up in my favor. Vernier and all of her staff have become more like family. They were always willing to do everything they could to see that things were going to end up in the best scenario possible I would not hesitate to hire this firm again for any legal reason .

Ruth took my case in December 2021 and we won the final battle December 7th 2023. She is definitely worth her weight in GOLD. I highly recommend her and wouldn't blink if i needed her service again. Divorce is very hard on both people. its sad. this was the hardest situation i have ever encountered. Jerry wasn't just a lawyer. he was compassionate to both me, the client, as well my wife. Many days Jerry also played the role of counselor to me. He was kind all the time but effective at the same time. Jerry proved he could not only get the job done but with compassion and empathy for both myself and my wife. At the end the opposing counsel was very rude to me as well his client, my wife, but Jerry stepped up. even though he was leaving on vacation the same day and not supposed to be at the prove up he showed up. i cant begin to explain how comforting this was to me and my wife. While i hate divorce, if it must be done i would recommend Jerry. Recommend him because he is effective but kind and empathetic at the same time. Very Very Happy with how Jerry handled my case. Very happy of the respect he showed while at the same time being effective. I never once felt like a number or a job. i felt like a human being.

This other attorney who referred Jack is not simply a friend, but a respected opponent. I didn't learn this until after the fact, and I now understand why he was recommended. After working with a number of attorneys and being disappointed, Jack Riley is by far the best. In addition to being smart and understanding family law, he is extremely responsive. Nick is an exceptional attorney. Nick ought to be a judge, because families would benefit with him on the bench.
Nick is a straight shooter, he’s aggressive in court, and he will prep you for testifying. I’ve hired attorneys with higher retainers and hourly rates that never prepared me to testify and were not nearly as knowledgably as Nick. It was clear that my case was stronger with Nick on my team. If you have to go to trial, Nick will block bs from the opposing counsel. Nick never wasted my time. Each time we waited for our case to be called, he was prepping me or giving me legal advice. My previous attorney worked on other cases on his laptop during my deposition and charged me for it.
Now I hired Nick to keep me out of a jail when an ex set me up in a scheme to flip custody. I also had unique needs that were running in parallel, and Nick tailored our meetings to also materially assist me in my long-term objectives.
Nick is smart, efficient, perceptive, knowledgeable in different areas of the law, and has good instincts on how judges tend to rule. I think that because Nick is extremely perceptive, he knew how and when to give me the information that I needed. By Nick not holding my hand, he kept my legal fees low. It is clear that Nick cares about families, because he never tried to empty my bank accounts. Although Nick and I didn't have many meetings, he never missed a beat in court, our meetings were only about what was relevant to succeed in the case, and he saved me money by not scheduling unnecessary meetings. Nick is a natural when it comes to litigating. In fact, without trying, he secured extra relief for me outside the scope of our contract.
Nick is genuinely compassionate and chalk full of integrity. Nick knew my goals and knew our legal system. Nick never forced me to settle, took extra steps to make sure I didn’t compromise, and advocated for the best outcome.
So, thanks Nick for being remarkable in my perfect storm and going beyond your legal obligations. I really hope you make judge one day, because our communities need a neutral no bs judge that will protect our children. If you are lucky to retain Nick, then you'll be ahead of the curve.

From the first phone call, I knew that we had made the right choice. With this said, I am not a trusting person by nature, especially when it is difficult to conduct business face-to-face, due to covid. I have spent the past (3) months talking and emailing back and forth with Mr. Mussalli with regards to my situation...without ever being able to look into his eyes and make a decision on his trustworthiness. Mr. Mussalli guided my wife and I through this difficult situation with my business. He propped us up when we were feeling unstable, he pushed us along when our stubbornness began to take hold, and all the while keeping his calm and encouraging us to do the same. He did all of this with the many obstacles that we are all facing, but with illness within his own family as well.
As I have now read his other 5-Star reviews here, it appears that this was not a one-off situation. While our circumstances were different than all of the other reviews, our encounter was exactly the same.
To put a bow on it...in our eyes, Matt Mussalli is a Fantastic Person First and an Accomplished Lawyer Second! Very easy to talk to, extremely fair and transparent on billing, and really knows how to listen to your needs...as well as manage your expectations. I don't ever want to "need" Mr. Mussalli again, but I will not hesitate to contact him if needed and I would recommend him to ANYONE who is in need of an intelligent, compassionate friend, who happens to also be a Great Lawyer! Mr. Marinkovich and his team took my case on after my daughter was attacked by a dog. He has so much knowledge when it comes to the insurance world that it truly made me feel comfortable with the choice in his firm. I never had to go through any of it alone or with out guidance. The attorney Milan was very helpful with our case, we came to him thru a referral of a friend. When we discussed our case with the attorney he believed us from the very first time. Every meeting that we had with the attorney and his paralegal helped us understand the status of our case, because this was our second time seeking legal advice for our case we truly believed its was not a coincidence meeting the attorney. Also his paralegal was very helpful and patient with our mother, he translated every word one by one in Spanish which we were very impressed because not everyone has the ability to speak Spanish correctly. Like many other families, we were faced with decisions that we really didn’t think we would need to make… my Dad’s dementia was deepening and my Mom, his Caretaker, was beginning to rapidly fail herself.
It came to the point I knew my Dad needed more care than what my Mom was capable of providing. It needed to be done quickly and correctly. Frankly, I was worried my Mom would pass before my Dad.
My parents are retired school-teachers. That means they are not rich, but they do have income. It certainly means they do not have the money for Nursing Home care that my Dad needs, and for that matter, my Mom needed for him to have.
I knew that trying to do the paper work and application for Medicaid was far beyond my ability and know-how. I recognized at that point we needed an Attorney to handle this for us.
I looked for a nearby attorney and found Richard Shea. This was one of the best decisions made in this difficult junction of our lives.
Richard reviewed everything carefully…. He answered questions timely… He worked as a partner with our family.
We are so grateful we hired him…it turns out that one of the accounts my mom had saved money through her job, would have been at risk if we had made the application first. Richard identified the situation and made suggestions on how to restructure it, which we did. While the amounts would not seem large to most people with an IRA or Pension, it was huge for my mom, and meant a lot to her monthly income. This one detail, more than paid for Richard’s fee.
My Dad is in a great facility. My Mom is able to relax and reclaim part of her life because she doesn’t have the heavy burden of caring for my father any longer. She can sleep at night and not have to worry if my Dad was going to get out of bed and turn on the stove and burn the house down! (He actually came close one time.) She is actually getting healthier. During her last check-up, her doctor told her he was pleased with her resurgent health.
I cannot recommend Richard enough. He is well worth his fee since he will fill out the paperwork and handle the application process and deal with the questions from the Examiner. These are details that are nerve racking enough, let alone during a stressful time.
If you are faced with these decisions, I recommend you hire Richard to handle the details. You have enough stress as it is, let him handle the part you that you are not an expert in handling. You will feel a lot better that you did.

Mr. Stilwell understood the scope of what we tried to accomplish and what needed doing. He was extremely empathetic to our situation and went over and beyond our expectations. He was very professional and the advice he gave was invaluable. I believe that without him and the service he provided, that we would still be trying to figure things out. He was also able to expedite the process and accomplished a huge feat within a very small window of time. The process that usually takes 6 months to a year took a little over a month. My mother got very sick and needed a will. His office quickly put together a basic will for us and when she couldn't physically get out of the car to come up to their office and sign it, they came down to the car to witness and sign with her! A week later she passed away and quickly they helped my brother and I go to court and get her will probated so we could get her estate settled and everything went very smooth and quick and was so very painless at a very painful time in our lives. I can't even begin to thank their office for all their help! I would reccomend them to anyone who needs estate planning or guidance!
