I have a line of products that I was seeking trademark protection for. I spent a week or so debating whether or not to use one of the many online inexpensive trademark filing services or to contact an actual attorney to help me. After reading some of the horror stories associated with the online/do it yourself services, I decided to give Stuart a call. I'm so glad I did.
In my case, there were some nuanced issues that most probably would have caused a number of problems with my application. Over the course of several emails, Stuart helped me understand exactly what I needed in order to give my application the best shot at gliding through the process. This type of guidance will not be found in the automated online websites, and unless you are involved in this specific area of law, you almost certainly will not know all of the various technicalities involved.
I found Stuart's fees to be more than reasonable from the outset, and certainly in retrospect considering the headaches and additional costs he likely saved me from. I don't know if our application will hit any snags or not, but I feel confident that we've submitted the best possible document for our situation and if anything arises, I know Stuart will be able to handle it.
Definitely recommend this attorney for anything trademark/IP related.

My husband and I needed a will and a trust before we left on a vacation to Africa. We really did not give Summer a lot of time to do this. She had it finished and ready to sign in record time. She made us both feel very comfortable that she was taking care of us. My husband is not the easiest to please when it comes to these types of issues. Pete Clancy is an Outstanding Attorney. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident with soft tissue injuries to my back and as we all know those are the hardest cases for the victim to come out on top. Pete worked on my case which involved a serious pedestrian-vehicle accident where I was the injured pedestrian. Pete is very knowledgeable and always promptly addressed my questions, concerns, and upset complaints with very clear explanations and with empathy. Before we had Pete as our family lawyer, things between my husband and his ex-wife had been full of tension which also caused a lot of stress in our marriage. After talking to Pete on the phone, for the first time, my husband and I decided to fire our lawyer at that time and hire Pete which we could have done a long time ago. Pete takes his job very seriously and with integrity. Since we had him as our lawyer, things have been tension free between my husband and his ex-wife and we can't thank Pete enough for that. We recommended Pete to my cousin but sadly, Pete doesn't handle cases in Stockton. Pete would have been the right lawyer for my cousin who after 6 years learned that his divorced wasn't finalized yet. Pete is also very transparent about where your money goes, and in our case, he kept reminding us about our remaining retainer's fee. With Pete, we felt like we're his extended family.

Dawn is an amazing lawyer. She's organized, ethical, sharp as as knife , and knows the laws backward and forward from both sides of personal injury lawsuits. She was, from the first day when I contacted her, a downright pleasure to work with. She always got back to me via email, usually within 15 minutes (seriously!). She kept me updated on everything that was happening with a lengthy lawsuit. She made sure I understood everything that was going on, everything I was signing, and how the whole process worked. She held my hand through two years of legal processes around a tediously medical issue resulting from a car crash.
I had a sticky case: I'd been rear-ended and gotten some sort of soft tissue damage that put me out of commission for the better part of a year and a half. All sorts of diagnostics failed to show exactly what was wrong, and treatments failed to make it better in any hurry. There was just a lot of pain whenever I used my right arm. (In retrospect, probably a rotator cuff injury that we didn't catch until a year after the accident, when it was mostly healed). I was sick at the thought of talking to the insurance company; there's no way to prove that you're in pain. Dawn took my case despite the uncertainty around it, and she got me an absolutely fair settlement despite all the medical muddling.
In addition to being terrifyingly competent, Dawn was unfailingly kind. When we had to do a deposition, and I was scared of being interrogated, she made sure I knew exactly how it worked, knew what I had to do, and then spent a good 15 minutes afterward debriefing and checking in on how I was. Then she sent a follow up email telling me that I'd done a great job. She kept me in mind as a person as well as a client. She was so professional, so sure of every step, and so obviously on top of everything that I was able to let her handle the case and go about my life without worrying about it too much. I am grateful for her services, and I'd recommend her highly for any legal help you might need.

My 14-year-old son was hit by a car while a pedestrian in a crosswalk. I didn't realize the long term impact his head injury had on him and the psychological impact that he would end-up going through.
After speaking to some friends and acquaintances, I decided to consult with a personal injury attorney. I was referred to personal injury attorney Shahrad Milanfar by a couple of different people. At first, I was hesitant, never having dealt with an attorney, I wasn't sure what to expect. I gave Shahrad a call, he listened to all of my questions, and concerns, and answered all my questions. Shahrad walked me through the process of what would happen if I chose to pursue the case for my son.
I decided to go ahead with the case and Shahrad explained fees and details that I needed to know. Shahrad began working on the case. From start to finish, Shahrad and his strong detail-oriented team kept me updated through the entire process. Any questions or concerns I had, they were quick to communicate with me, whether it be e-mail, phone calls, or text messages, there was always someone available in a timely fashion.
Shahrad and his team contacted all the doctors involved and did the work to get all the necessary paperwork from any places that needed to be paid for through the insurance. After realizing that the other party’s insurance only had minimal coverage, Shahrad went through and found a way for my son to get the maximum compensation for his injuries. I would agree with most positive reviews about Ethan and more. I have known his father Merritt professionally for a long time and I met Ethan years ago at their office. Ethan was a young sharp attorney then and he is a brilliant attorney now. My divorce was complex and difficult as it emanated from a foreign marriage. Ethan was not only prepared to deal with issues dealing with an ill conceived attempt at a reconciliation of marriage but also with issues stemming from a foreign marriage contract. He not only navigated through the reconciliation issues but also complex property issues, alimony, child support, custody and visitation aspects of the case. I couldn't have hired a more knowledgeable, aggressive and well prepared attorney. I could write a brief on Ethan. He is not only readily accessible but friendly and down to earth. There's no hint of arrogance or standoffish that you might find with other attorneys. I would say Ethan takes each case very personal and high professional. I never thought I would ever find a lawyer who could assist collect a divorce settlement awarded to me six years ago. It was easy to speak with him over the phone, as it was in person, in his office. My first impression was, he is bright, experienced and skilled in family law, sincere, and will definitely protect my interest as his client. During my visit in his office, I did not have a second thought at all to hire him and represent me. And during the process, he was always available to receive or return my calls to answer further questions, inquiries, or clarifications. He was way on time during the court set date. At the court, he was very focused, steady, so professional during the back and forth negotiation with the other party. And he has explained to me his back-up strategies if things do not turn out exactly as he intended. I had the chance to work with both Andy Gillin and Jim Larsen. They were able to guide me through the process of my personal injury lawsuit. Jim especially took great care to advise me through the settlement process, which went through several iterations to ensure that I received the compensation for my injuries that I deserved without dragging everyone through a trial. Although Jim says he love trying cases and would've gotten right into the fray if he felt it was the best avenue for my case!
Throughout the process, Jim was a pleasure to spend time with, sharing funny stories to break the tension. He is thoughtful about the human side of these cases and advised me throughout the ring insights about different defendants he's dealt with throughout his career.

I called Drew's firm to request a PI case representation. Though he could not take my specific case which is a defamation case, he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and gave names of other attorneys who would hopefully be able to help me. David defended us in a medical malpractice case against a patient/plaintiff, and demonstrated solid wisdom that he had picked up in decades of experience. His understanding of the process and substance were invaluable guidance through the process. To top that, he prevailed outright when he was forced to go to trial. The patient got nothing, despite all the shenanigans the patient's attorney threw at him.

Organizing my family's legal affairs was badly overdue. We needed the full kit - a family trust, living wills, durable powers of attorney, advance health care directives, etc.. We found Lee on a recommendation, and the recommendation was well deserved.
Lee was great to work with. We know nothing about these things, and he led us through it step by step. He explained each legal document, why that document did (or did not) apply to our family, and how to gather the information to produce the final documentation. My wife and I feel much more comfortable now that we have this process behind us. It was quicker and easier than we expected.
I recommend that any family get their legal documents in order - it's a relief once it's done. And I highly recommend Lee Kaster to help guide you through the process.
