Dorene represented me when I had to go to court to evict a tenant. I am just an individual landlord, and don't have some massive company or anything, so for me this was a somewhat emotional process. Dorene knew the ins and outs of landlord/tenant law in DC, and really made me relieved to have her on my side! She was very responsive and made me extremely confident that she knew exactly what she was doing. Also, since she does this a lot she knows the reputation of the various judges, mediators, etc and knows a lot of the people you will deal with in the courthouse. Also, I found her services to be affordable for me and she doesn't nickel and dime you for every question (phew!). I have consulted her since this time several times to ensure I know exactly how to legally protect myself in the future. I highly recommend her!

Mr. Ahmed was retained for my friend who was subject to an unwarranted search of his vehicle. Without being too detailed, it was a case of police harrassment/profiling. Items were seized from my friend in an attempt to portray him as being someone he was not. In summation, Mr. Ahmed proved my friend's innocence and all charges were dropped. He is well respected by Judges as well as fellow Attorneys. We have retained him to have the seized items returned. He is just OUTSTANDING!!!

We've always found Mary to be an ethusiastic expert on our regulatory employment questions. She is very knowledgable about the law but also some of the nuances of government adminstration. Theresa is excellent. She made partner and has no qualms about doing everything in her power, the power of the laws to hide evidence, and has a vast resource of professionals that are paid well to create what ever appearance of the truth she feels will save you money, get the kids away from their mom to reduce child support or prevent someone from having the money for medical treatment. It depends on your needs but she is excellent at what she does.

I had never consulted an attorney for any family law matter before I met Theresa Mihalik. A fellow lawyer spoke highly of her and her firm, which was a good start. Theresa is warm and personable, but most importantly, she knows her stuff. She was generous with her time during our initial consultation and answered all of my questions, even those that I felt stupid asking. She also asked all of the right questions, so that she understood my objectives and could craft an agreement that would protect my interests without creating conflict with the other side. Theresa assessed the work she would need to do for me and charged me a reasonable retainer, which was much less than I had expected to pay. Throughout the 2-3 weeks that it took to finalize an agreement, she kept me apprised of her schedule and responded promptly to all of my e-mails, even if she was in court on another matter. Based on my perspective as a lawyer and a client, I would recommend her to anyone needing family law representation.

What can I say? I was involved in a crash over a year and a half ago, it turned out that I had some pretty severe back issues as a result of that. I immediately contacted Simeone & Miller, within 2 days I was in their office meeting with them. I was extremely nervous, didn't know how this would all turn out, knowing what medical bills are these days, Mike and Kiara (paralegal) kept me calm and educated throughout the entire process. There were some tough conversations and things that I didn't want to hear. The one thing Mike kept telling me was this all takes time. Well he was right, I can't say enough great things about this firm. I feel like we just ended a personal relationship with the conclusion of the case. I met Craig as apart of Bosson Legal Group... so this isn't as much a review for him ONLY as much as at is for the entire team: (I couldn't find the entire group on AVOO) :(
At the start, my case truly felt insurmountable. I had never dealt with needing an attorney for racial discrimination in the workplace before and had no idea where to begin. Not to mention, I had only heard horror stories from others who'd had to hire an attorney for various reasons. People warned me that with my case in particular, the entire process would take FOREVER and that I would more than likely deal with a "lying thief of an attorney" because "they [were] all the same" anyway.
I am BEYOND pleased to say that this was NOT AT ALL the case dealing with Craig and Bosson Legal Group.
From the very beginning, Craig made me feel nothing but safe and taken care of. He listened to my story in full; Never once rushing me, belittling me or hurrying me. He even offered numerous, sincere apologies for what I had been through. I couldn't believe that I was receiving such authentic and genuine empathy from a LAWYER. What's more, is that he worked with where I was financially and allowed me to pay him in "good faith" when I couldn't afford it.
As my case progressed, I was passed from Craig to Tim but not in a way that even once made me feel discarded. Craig made sure he let me know that he remained accessible to me and Tim was just as WONDERFUL.
It seemed that as soon as I would get antsy, before even having the chance to bring it up to Tim, he would read my mind, reach out and say, "Hey haven't forgotten you. We're still fighting for you!" And that's exactly what he and his entire team did.
My case was resolved abnormally fast, which I believe is because I was in such excellent hands.
The only thing I would've like to see a little different was that: I often wonder sometimes if I should've fought a little further/a little harder for more compensation that I deserved. But during some conversations, I wasn't confident that we could win if I chose to go further which is slightly disheartening.
But to be fair, that doesn't necessarily mean it's reflective of Tim's abilities. It could just be that it truly wasn't going to benefit me to keep going forward. I only had one other slight concern with how my ending balance made a little bit of a jump that I wasn't anticipating. But, Tim did send me a breakdown explaining this later.
Trust me when I say...
You simply will not be in better hands with anyone else than you would be if you were with Craig Welkener and Bosson Legal Group. I mean that sincerely. They are the dream team. I can't thank you ENOUGH, guys.

We had a perfect experience with Robert Bullock and Abigail Wolf from ELDC. Let me tell you how I got there. It started in the overcrowded sitting room of another local elder care law firm…
I was the youngest person in the room by 30-40 years, and I was in the room for totally different reasons than everyone else. They were there to learn how to manage your retirement funds so that when it’s time for you to move into assisted living or a nursing home, you can get Medicaid to pay for your bed. I was there to figure out what I needed to know and do in order to ensure that if, God forbid, something should happen to my wife and me, our son with special needs (he has a profound physical disability with no cognitive impairment) would be properly taken care of (e.g. medical, nursing, caregiver support, college, spending money, etc). My ideal scenario was to wrap up all of our resources (financial accounts, retirement, possessions, life insurances) in a tidy way such that a legal “key” could immediately convey to whomever we designated as our son’s caregivers...with no interruptions whatsoever to his high level of medical support.
I didn’t learn much about my particular situation from that session (though it was very informative if you want to figure out how to keep your retired husband from buying that pool he always wanted after you’re gone, or from spending your grandchildren’s inheritance with the new pool girl that came with the pool!), and I began to sense that I needed to find a specialist with personal experience in special needs. Enter Robert Bullock. Recommended by a friend of my son’s physical therapist, Robert has a lifetime of experience in legal matters related to all areas of special needs.
Because of our son’s medical needs, my wife and I have trouble getting out of the house. Robert easily accommodated this need via a meeting over video teleconference. He also immediately understood our goals and motivation and began helping us understand the process we would need to walk through in order to make that vision a reality. He was very generous with his time and with dispensing timely insights that were helpful for a young couple still starting out on our journey with our son’s special needs.
When Robert directed that our case be handled by his colleague Abigail Wolf, we wondered what it would be like to work with her. She did not disappoint! Efficient and comprehensive, Abigail struck a perfect balance between giving us the space we needed to work through the sometimes extensive paperwork we needed to fill out (something which can be tricky to find time to do, when you’re juggling a lot of home healthcare needs) and helping us stay on track with working towards our goal of getting it all squared away before the end of the year (mostly by checking in periodically to see if we needed any assistance). When all was said and done, we had completed wills, Advanced Medical Directorives, and Power of Attorney documents for both my wife and me, as well as a Family Trust for our family and a Special Needs Trust for our son. All of these are precisely configured to ensure that, if something happens to both of us, all our financial resources will be at the disposal of our son’s caregivers.
When the time came to finalize the documents, Abigail took care of everything. We reviewed and signed everything in our own home, with the help of a courteous and efficient notary (also scheduled by Abigail).
Overall, our experience with Robert Bullock, Abigail Wolf, and ELDC was like eating at a five-star restaurant, i.e. everything we hoped it would be and more. I heartily recommend ELDC to anyone needing legal services related to financial documents for elder or disability care---especially special needs families!

Mr. Sergey Basyuk showed total interest in my case since day 1. He was the third immigration lawyer my husband and I interviewed and definitely our best option. I contacted three lawyers for my case and he was the only one that sat down and actually talked about my case and reviewed the evidence I had. He sat down and went over the jury instructions with me and went over a convincing outline as to why the evidence didn't support the charges and how he would approach the case. He also gave a very thoughtful and appropriate prognosis of what may or may not possibly happen with my case. Didn't take him long to get my charges dismissed either, though had it not panned out that way I though he would do a good job if the case had gone to trial.

I came to Will Mount to learn more about my legal options regarding a CPO. He not only explained the CPO and the process behind it, but he answered all of my questions as they came. 20 years ago (1994) Barry saved my job at Georgetown University. I was since promoted and received several employee commendations. I retired from the university in 2003 and as a result of the staff benefits package, my son who was 5 years old at the time, received the dependent tuition. He graduated this month from the University of Maryland with honors. Barry helped me to save my son's life. He so well represented him in our legal case; but, that was only a part of his excellence. He helped my son to survive with his knowlege of psychology , his compassion, caring and support, so my son did not act on his suicide thoughts. Barry helped him to maintain his drug sobriety through an incredibly difficult and painful legal case. My son was suicidal from the angst of this case which required my son to look back at his years of child abuse and then into his past drug addiction. Mr. York is the person you want representing you and never the person you want representing your adversary. If Mr. York is on the other side of the table, immediately settle the case and give them whatever they are asking yor for -- as it will save you in the long run.
Mr. York is extremely creative in crafting legal arguments most attorneys could not even dream about and slipping loopholes in contracts that are favorable to his client and can (and often do) tangle the counterparty in an unsurmountable legal web.
We hired Mr. York to draft a lease for an aircraft securitization where the contract payments due to us were approximately $200 million. The counterpary ran into financial problems and we had to rehire Mr. York to sue for breach of contract.
