Quite simply – I feel lucky to have met Roy and have had him on my side. I was facing a complicated and emotionally charged situation – something that was challenging on many levels. From the moment he took on the case Roy gave me the confidence to believe I was doing the right thing in pursuing my case and that I had the right person to guide and support me. Virginia Kling is the lawyer you want on your side for any complex, difficult, divorce case. She is incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and detailed. She knows family law inside out and creatively comes up with precedents that can be applied to the case and help move negotiations forward. Her listening skills are matched only by her patience -- she will really try to take in and address all your concerns, and work in tandem with other skilled professionals when necessary (e.g. forensic accounting expert). Meetings whether in person or over the phone are conducted efficiently, well prepared, and I love that Virginia is always easily accessible for any question or follow-up, and turns things and documents around in record time. In 2015, I was asked by my medical school to leave the M.D. program citing my academic under-performance. At that time, I had serious family obligations, due to which I could not fully dedicate my time at the school. I could not take time off of school either because my 'green card' application was still pending-- anything that would jeopardize my immigration status in the US would possibly affect my green card approval. Despite my numerous attempts, I had not been able to get an appointment with a physician at the medical school's student clinic. Later, I found out that the months of delay in referral to a psychiatrist was because of clerical incompetence at the clinic, who was later fired of the job. In February 2015, I was diagnosed with moderately severe depression and moderate anxiety and put on medication by a physician's assistant (PA), after I my plea to see any medical profession at the clinic. Soon after, I was able to see an actual psychiatrist due to urgent referral of the PA. The psychiatrist, after evaluating my situations, wrote a 4-page long letter to the medical school for a 'medical leave of absence'. The school took another 2 months, sending my case from committee to committee, to finally dismissing me from the school sticking to the academic under-performance reason. They made these decisions without letting me testify in person, even though I was allowed to do so before the official MLOA was submitted.
This is when I was able to get a hold of Karen Bower. Under her consultation, I requested my educational records from the university, including all the communication among individuals at the medical school, relating to the decision of dismissal. It was discovered that the committees believed that I made up stories to make a case, and that they did not believe the complex situation I was under because of family and immigration issues.
It was under Karen's guidance that I finally put a complaint under the Office of Civil Rights at the Department of Education. Since, I am still pursuing to go to a medical school, I did not want to take it to the courts, and wanted to get it over with, I ended up signing a resolution agreement that changed my 'dismissal' to 'withdrawal' but would prevent me from applying to the same medical school again. This was the best resolution given the circumstances I was in, and I thank Karen for pushing me to make it happen.
On a personal level, I want to thank you, Karen, for being there for me, when it seemed like the whole world was against me.

Ross represented me, a federal employee who had worked for a financial regulatory agency. Five years after the original incident, an EEOC Judge issued a notice finding discrimination and found the Agency discriminated against me based on my disability in connection with its failure to accommodate me and constructive discharge during my probationary period. Ross Fishbein, worked tirelessly on the case for nearly three years and helped negotiate a settlement agreement with the agency for $425,000 to compensate me for back pay, expenses I incurred, and payment of full attorney fees. I hired Ross to represent me with my EEO case against the government and he did a great job. Ross is an intelligent, hard-working, honest attorney that always made himself available. During my case, Ross demonstrated that he was concerned about my work life and how things would affect me after the case was complete (besides just a payout) which meant a lot to me. At one point during the case, my Agency's attorney tried to make excuses for their behavior and poke holes in my case, which was pretty infuriating and disrespectful. Ross was professional and he successfully destroyed the other attorney with solid case law and I was proud to have him on my side. In conclusion, I would highly recommend hiring Ross Fishbein if you plan to take on the government. Expect a long upward and unfair fight. I know it can be difficult to know where to turn when you are wronged and you will feel alone. Ross won a settlement with my case and I know he will do his best for you too.

We had a very successful outcome for our legal case that allowed us to stabilize our family's life after a brain injury. Yet it was the process of the case that was as important to us, because we had so much to manage medically, emotionally, and mentally, during this challenging time. Chris Nace and his excellent team didn't involve us unless they needed our attention, allowing us to place our focus where it was required, in our healing. Also, they spent time answering our questions, no matter how trivial, since we had never used a lawyer except in the creation of our wills. We felt prepared for the case, and informed of our options, but yet not burdened by too much information. Kenneth defended my husband and I when we did not have much money and worked with us. Zamani and Associates, including Amanda Sow, helped me with one of the most difficult things in my life, a child custody issue after I returned overseas. I think some lawyers were leery because it was international and had some complicated issues from strong cultural differences, overseas living complexity with many different countries, work conflict, attempts at restraining orders, diverse family relations and even psychological exams and home studies! I was facing a trial and an unknown chaos of what custody would look like in the midst of all of this. I was given an excellent attorney reference to them after struggling for weeks to find a good attorney. I also am myself an attorney. I read the reviews and was convinced, except they said “holistic,” which is normally is very positive. However, my friends and family recommended an “aggressive” attorney because of the difficulties I faced with my ex and inability to stop them.
Zamani and Associates and Amanda more than lived up to their reviews! I was explained my options clearly, which I thought were not possible. They recommended settlement immediate and indeed settled it quickly as they predicted. I went from a dreaded trial posture and an unlivable living arrangement with my children to obtaining an agreement with a livable arrangement without trial after settlement. What I liked best was their calm demeanor, attention to detail, attempts to follow the client’s wishes balanced with realism and courteous prompt responses from all in their office. I actually knew it was the right office when I first walked in and met their administrative assistant and other staff. Amanda was very supportive to my wife and when I was nervous at my hearings.
Amanda and her firm assist in relationship management, communications and helped me like no other in minimizing difficult interaction with my former partner at settlement meetings and according to my wishes. I valued their personal skills, contacts with other attorneys, and ability to work well with diverse family members. They were unphased by the international, cultural, complex procedural and family web. They always had a common “it can be solved” demeanor. With Zamani & Associates, I did not just engage strong legal minds, like Amanda's, but I gained well connected, skilled attorneys familiar with DC courts.
They are also effective as a firm on critical financial issues in my case. I previously experienced great time delays from other attorneys without receiving needed advice. The firm also handled billing professionally and reasonably. Their rates and billing process were clear, which was previously another big stressor. This really speaks to their integrity, ethical, and quality as a firm.
Amanda helped bring relief to my children and family, and even the opposing party appears to be happy. Mr. Long represented me when I was named as a Co-defendent in my ex-husbands mortgage foreclosure proceeding. Our financial advisor Nathan Garcia provided referral to Kyle Epting to review our estate planning legal documents. We took the opportunity to have my mom participate so we both updated several legal documents. Kyle was exceptional and helped guide us to additions and subtractions from prior documents. Kyle was willing to drive to a convenient meeting place which helped with the commute time picking up my mom and joining Kyle and Nathan in Columbia, MD. Kyle’s use of DocuSign made it simple to complete an engagement letter to start work immediately and he answered all our questions in preparation for document review and then additional questions during the review. Biberstein. Before contacting Mr. Biberstein at Price Benowitz my situation seemed hopeless. My driving privileges had been revoked for six months. I held a D.C. license while living in an entirely different state. As a result, I was subject to D.C. driving laws. Unfortunately, there is no metro transit system where I reside making getting to work costly and a tremendous burden. In addition, in the fall my place of employment would be relocated making travel to work an even greater distance. In the first conversation with Mr. Biberstein concerning my case he made me feel at ease.
Mr. Biberstein is an individual that is personable. While allowing me to vent my circumstances he was empathetic, listened, and then offered a plan of action grounded in facts and reality. He conveyed the idea that my case was of the utmost importance. At the end of our conversation, I knew he cared.
While handling my case Mr. Biberstein exhibited true professionalism. I had no problem finding out the progress of my case. He provided continual updates on progress (I didn't have to ask or track him) either by phone call or email. Also, if he promised to make contact by the end of the day he would. There was always a conscientious effort to be courteous.
Mr. Biberstein is knowledgeable of current driving laws and their recent changes. So, after carefully reviewing my driving record he found an error made by the DMV. As a result, my driving status changed. While I have learned a great lesson from this experience, I am so gracious that my driving privileges will be reinstated at least three months sooner than originally expected. In addition, I am able to transfer my D.C. license to the state in which I reside. This is also significant because during the fall my job requires me to drive to various locations within the city. Without the forged relationships of Price Benowitz LLP and Peter Biberstein this would not be made possible. My life was made easier.
I assumed obtaining the legal services from Price Benowitz would be costly. I was wrong. Mr. Biberstein provided me with information concerning payment options that were viable.
Lastly, I am extremely satisfied with the legal services provided. In my opinion, Price Benowitz has a star in Peter Biberstein. With all being said, I owe him my extreme gratitude.

I reached out a couple different lawyers and Price Benowitz, LLP was the only one to respond to my request for help with a traffic violation. I spoke with the office and was connected with attorney Peter Biberstein. I sent in some more information so he had a better idea. Once I gave him the information and made the process very easy, took it off my hands. He managed to find a discrepancy in the ticket and managed to get the ticket dropped. I felt like he got back to me when I called and was informative. Overall, I’m very happy with the services I received.
