I was initially referred to Hassan by his former colleagues at the firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. I had been apprehensive about moving forward with a lawsuit, as I was presently under much stress and lacked the time or energy to become embroiled in protracted, combative litigation. However, after several meetings with Hassan, I began to feel more confident about my case, and very comfortable with Hassan taking the lead.
As we developed our legal strategy and prepared for mediation, Hassan involved me in every aspect of the matter, keeping me apprised of each detail in a timely manner. He was willing to use every resource at his disposal to further strengthen our position. Perhaps most significantly, however, he listened to and valued my opinions, concerns and thoughts. I felt that we were very much working as a team, making decisions together.
During our mediation with the defendants, Hassan was persuasive, aggressive and creative, often resorting to non-legal arguments. Shortly thereafter, we settled the matter for a sum much larger than I ever would have anticipated. We did so without ever having to file a complaint, thereby avoiding the drudgery of litigation. It’s hard to trust most lawyers these days. I was skeptical about hiring a woman lawyer but my friend used her and said great things about her. Hilary understood me and didn’t try to pressure me. She earned my trust and respect. She’s not easy because she wants you to work hard while your her client. But she really cares and fights for you on every level. I’m in a better situation now because she helped me as a person too.

Ms. Phillips was my lawyer when I was charged with some violent felonies. She looks like a nice lady (and she is) but she's a tough dedicated fighter and will protect you no matter what.
It was easy to get in touch and trust her. She reminded me of my court dates and worked with my employer to explain dates and why I had to go to therapy every week so I wouldn't lose my job.
She got a good plea but I wanted to go to trial and she supported me 100%. I was found not guilty of all the charges.
Ms. Phillips isn't cheap but she's worth every penny!

I had known Attorney Mcgrail for a number of years, first as a fellow volunteer at a non-profit organization where I continue to appreciate and value her commitment to a worthy cause. It was in this context that I first divulged information about a stressful situation regarding an incompatible roommate who was attempting to evict me with insufficiently timed, improper notice. Since I had immediate need of legal counsel, and since Ms. Mcgrail is licensed to practice in Maryland as well as Washington, D.C., she offered to help. Her advice was sound and given the fact that she does not specialize in cases of this nature, I was impressed with the versatility of both her knowledge and skills. Even in the most emotionally wrought moments of my dilemma, she was calm, professional, and at the same time, compassionate. Her advice was sound; decisions not to take action were just as effective as the actions she did take. She reviewed letters and forms I submitted and was instrumental in resolving the case without going to court. Telephone calls were returned promptly. One thing that impressed me the most was her response to detailed voicemail. On a day in which my situation changed dramatically over the course of a couple of hours, I called twice, once to ask Mary Ann Mcgrail to place a call on my behalf, and then, later, to request that she not place that call. Because she listened to all her messages before taking action, I was able to avoid a potentially difficult turn of events. I managed to make peace with my roommate until I had sufficient time to find a more suitable, new home. I remain grateful and urge you to consider hiring Ms. Mcgrail.

Due to an injury sustained, our family didn't know what to do or where to turn. Like others who deal with a sudden injury and life altering situations we initially hired someone out of haste. We quickly learned that it wasn't the best decision and at that point began to research and look for another attorney.
This is where Gerry entered our life. He listened to us on the phone and was very straight forward, yet very caring and understanding. At a later time he came to our home for a sit down and we knew instantly we would have him represent us. From that meeting we realized that he truly understood the injuries sustained and the real impact that the injuries would have. Rachel has been a friend for years but I haven't engaged her until recently for legal. As our newer company was growing we started to run into issues with some of our representatives and non-compete agreements which shouldn't have been an issue in the first place (in my opinion, of course). She offered what I truly believe is a white glove service and took care of everything A to Z while keeping me apprised of the progress.

About one year ago I discovered to my horror that our domain portfolio had been raided, and 32 very valuable names were taken and transferred away to an overseas registrar. I contacted our company lawyer who immediately tried to contact the parties involved and get the names transferred back to us. I contacted law enforcement and there was nothing they could do. Our lawyer was suggesting ways to get the names back that involved a lot of time and money. Our lawyer wanted us to appeal to ICANN which could take months or even years. I did a lot of research and realized that the people who stole the domains were trying to sell them to unsuspecting clients. Luckily some of the names were returned without incident but 14 remained overseas. These domains were worth thousands and were a key part to our business. I did some more research and found David Weslow. My first call to David was great for me because he immediately told me we could get these names back, and he would gladly help us do that. David's credentials when it comes to domains and intellectual property are outstanding. He laid out the steps involved and asked me to send him all the information on our case and he would do the rest. David filed the necessary paperwork with the courts and we went through the whole process. Less than one year later we received all the names back to our account. David had gotten those names back because of his superior knowledge of the laws regarding domain ownership. If you ever need someone to help you in a situation like this call this lawyer. I really thought that we would never get the names back and lose a huge investment. I can honestly say that if I had not called David we would not have these domains in our possession today. I wish I could be more specific about the case but I can assure you that David helped us when everyone else said it couldn't be done. He did an amazing job and I highly recommend him for anything related to domain disputes.

One of the main things that I look for in an attorney is responsiveness when I have questions, need feedback or assurance - and Byron replied to my text messages and emails usually within a day or two - and his responses were detailed and thorough. The next main thing I need in an attorney is reasonable fees, and this was also something that I received. Invoices make sense and are reasonable in terms of the explanations and break-down of what fees are actually for. I have had other attorneys in the past where this was not the case, so I have a perspective on this topic, and know what is, and what is not reasonable. The outcome in my divorce case was such that I can say I got most of the things that were important to me, so I was happy with the results that Byron provided for me. I also had a good prior understanding on what to expect based on the conversations that I had with Byron, there were no surprises or anything like that. At the same time Byron was realistic and did not overpromise anything, so I always felt I knew what I was in for. I also liked the payment methods that were in place for me to pay invoices. First of all, I want to thank the people who gave an honest review about Attorney Bruce here on AVVO. My husband and I hired him because we trusted in your reviews, they were truly authentic reviews and you all did not disappoint us.
In 2021, after reading reviews from previous clients here, I gave Bruce a call. He was a very good listener and he asked the right questions that will lead to right results.
My husband and I needed a good and a straight forward immigration lawyer and through reviews we both agreed to choose Attorney Bruce and this was the best decision we made.
We started our immigration process with his guidance and provided him with all the documents he requested in December 2021. Bruce submit my paper work on January 2022. In 5 months I did get my work authorization. It was 2 years work authorization.
There was no communication from USCIS until 4 months into the expiration of the work authorization, we got a notification for RFE.(Request For Evidence)
So Bruce submit extra evidence to the already submitted ones. During these times I will be calling him. I remember during one of our conversation, he said to me, Joycelyn "the devil is in the details" so be patient and give me time to put the documents together and arrange them perfectly before we submit them. Indeed Bruce, you were absolutely right.
Everything was put together and he sent them out to USCIS. Two weeks later, we got a notification that my case was approved. The most amazing part was that, we never went for an interview and I was given 10 years Green Card. Just give Bruce the requested documents he will ask from you and he knows the right details to write together with the documents.
The experienced immigration lawyer matters when dealing with USCIS. Bruce is a very good listener, he responds to messages and phone calls regardless of his busy schedules.
Just like my husband and I trusted other clients reviews, please trust mine. I'm not a robot or a paid actress, everything I'm writing here is my experience with Bruce.

I contacted the firm to submit a medical malpractice claim on behalf of my husband who was lost during a medical procedure.
