Mickey Smith and the entire team at LLL & S did a fantastic job for our family. So often you hear the horror stories of how lawyers can take a bad situation and make it worse by not paying attention to details, not communicating well (or at all) with the client, missing deadlines etc... I was having a problem with a money international transfer for 4 months . Nobody knew where was my money . So I friend of mine gave me Marjorie’s info and I called to her explaining the situation, she went and resolved the problem right away. Long story short, the money was found and I got to proceed with my business.

As I read the reviews below I don't believe that I can top the high praise that this law firm has received, what I can do is tell you that this firm ended up co counseling (took over) from my original attorney in the middle of the case. Robert Johnson was short of spectacular, he literally hit the ground running. Extremely knowledgeable and quick on his feet. As a client you should always want the meanest/ nastiest kicking mule that will have your best interest in mind. Robert is that attorney, during some of the proceedings to watch Robert was extremely impressive. As he strategized with his team and explained it to where I could understand it made me feel at ease. Robert was able to get a settlement that was well past my expectations and couldn't have been happier. His staff including but not limited to Rosa was extremely professional, Rosa was my main contact and she was absolutely amazing through this process. This was a huge undertaking for them to take over like they did and they did it like true professionals. If you need a kicking mule do not hesitate to call them. You will not be disappointed.

I called his firm and sent over documents for him to review. He was the only attorney who actually called me back and discussed my case. Unfortunately my case was not what he handles but, I had a consumer law case against a car dealership he gave me some great information that I was not aware of that made my case stronger,explained a particular statute to me and gave some referrals. Even the office staff who take the calls are educated and know how to answer a call. Not very common today when I have called other offices. You can tell just from being on the phone with him he loves what he does and care about his clients and the bestoutcome.

We initially consulted with Shahar while thinking of a different legal path that we thought we needed to take for our son. She was so honest with us in the initial consultation about how that path might not be the best one to serve our son's needs. We are so happy we listened to her. Shahar has been invaluable to us. I just completed a case wherein I had suffered a fall at work. I was not only injured, but suffered sinus issues, loss of work, then lost my job. Mr. Lesser was referred to me by a family friend who is also an attorney. Mr. Lesser saw me immediately, and his Associate Attorney Alicia Zweig met with me as well. Not only did Mr. Lesser call me often to check on my progress of getting well often, they made sure I got the medical care I needed. They constantly kept me in the loop, giving me details on their progress. I mostly spoke with an attorney. As a former paralegal of 20 years, I know that communications go through the attorney's paralegals. Every time I called the office I spoke with someone who had answers for me. I did speak with paralegal Christina, who was not only amazing and pleasant to speak with, but very knowledgeable of my case. I felt like family there. I never felt like a burden, which is so important. Finally, I received my settlement, after Gary and Alicia aggressively pursued the best settlement possible. I was informed how they would call the adjuster daily, sometimes several times a day. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this firm. After my wife was hit by a pickup truck while walking across the street, we were a bit overwhelmed. After my father passed away unexpectedly in 2019, I immediately began the work of acting as his personal representative. Unfortunately, my father had no legal Will which led to a contested estate. The estate attorney I hired initially was not interested in handling litigation filed by another heir, and recommended David Garten for the job. Calling David Garten was the best decision I could have made.
David Garten is an expert in Florida State Estate Law. He is a litigation attorney who handles contested estates and defends his clients with zeal. He exudes the calm confidence and total professionalism of an expert in his field. There are none of the blustering or hyperbolic statements that you will find with unqualified attorneys who are just trying to get your business. David will never leave you with a false sense of confidence on any issue. David’s credentials are impeccable, and he is a regular contributor to Florida State Bar Association publications. David’s staff is top notch and well organized, a sure sign of an excellent attorney. I also found David and his staff to be approachable and easy going, not stuffy or hard to communicate with as some attorney’s offices can be.
David’s work on my father’s estate was exemplary. He successfully negotiated settlements and diffused or won the unnecessary litigation brought against the estate. At one point David parlayed a pre-trial deposition into a settlement that enabled me to continue my work to close the estate without interruption. This is one of many examples of David’s expert handling of my father’s estate. David is very cost conscious and employs other Estate Attorneys to handle the more routine aspects of estate administration. You can rest assured that you won’t be gouged. David’s calm approach to angry opposing counsel, random unnecessary litigation, and wary nerve-wracked clients, was incredibly reassuring as we worked through various issues.
I would highly recommend David Garten to represent you if you are the executor or personal representative of a contested estate. In fact, I would say that if relatives are likely to litigate after the loss of a loved one, skip the standard Estate Attorneys and call David Garten for the representation that you really need.

I was living out-of-state when notified of my estranged husband's death. I needed to be advised and represented by an attorney who was familiar with Florida's state statutes for elective shares regarding the surviving spouse. My situation required a lot of special research. David made me feel comfortable and confident that everything was covered. He kept me appraised of the current status, even though there were time issues holding up our progress. Given the circumstances of my case, I felt David was attentive, personable and gave my case the required attention to detail needed. After being victimized by several other attorneys regarding Trusts, Elder Law and Guardianship I did extensive research prior to finding a West Palm Beach attorney with the expertise and experience of David M. Garten, Esq. He was very responsive regarding scheduling and thoroughly knowledgeable in his field of law. He was always sympathetic and concerned to act in my best interest. His fees were reasonable and there was never a suspicion that his time billed was inflated. Hiring Mr. Garten actually turned out to be an extremely excellent value when at our first meeting he suggested he would, and actually did notify my insurers who ended up carrying a significant portion of my case with Mr. Garten's supervision. I've had 5 lawyers in my 10 year long family case. While Mr. Reiner is a criminal defense lawyer, he is a trial attorney first and foremost. He advocated for me like no other lawyer in over ten years, and he was aggressive while respectful given the sensitivity of my family's case, and it was clear even the magistrate was impressed at his professionalism, preparedness, and style of argument.
