My experience with Susan has been the exact opposite of the previous reviewer's. I could not be happier to have her as my attorney for my situation. She definitely has not tried to drag things out to boost her fees with me and, if anything, has tried to get things resolved more expediently.

Lies constantly to extend my case for her benefit rather than mine. Racks up lawyer fees with false promises. She does not know the law or litigation and in her dealings with me has proved that she does not know her job. Cost me over $100K for a divorce that should have cost less than $10K.
Do not hire her, she will drive you crazy.

This would be my third time going to Mr Herdzik for representation. He handled two bankruptcies and is currently representing me in a support proceeding. I have a pretty good rapport with him (out of poor/fair/good/great/excellent). I’m not sure how effective he might be, but I trust that he will do his due diligence as he has done in my other two cases. Although I understand that bankruptcy and family law are two different arenas, I trust that he will handle my case with care. I have a unique case, but overall not too complex, more so straightforward. His fee was reasonable…we’ll see how it goes!

I hired this guy for a custody case. He's not a good lawyer. He did not advocate for me and did the bare minimum. He seemed out-of-place in the family court setting. He blindly followed the law guardian's recommendations. He filed paperwork that wasn't worded correctly which caused issues. HE DID NOT RETURN MY UNUSED RETAINER MONEY AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND LETTERS. UPON ANOTHER LAWYER'S SUGGESTION, I SENT A LETTER VIA REGISTERED MAIL (SO I'D HAVE PROOF IT WAS SENT). ONLY THEN DID HE RETURN THE MONEY.

Extremely disappointed how Mark kotnis was handling my case. In one incident I asked to pick up paperwork from discovery after he told me he sent it out via mail and I never received it. After picking it up at his office I came back home and opened up the envelope, it was another gentleman's case file. It had the gentleman's social security number, phone number, birthdate, address, his statement, restraining order information, and the statements against him. This occurred after numerous complaints I had to make to his supervisor where Mr. Kotnis was ill-prepared for court and did not submit evidence to the district Attorney including video evidence that I handed over to him. I am now constantly worried that he gave somebody else my private information. Was forced to discontinue legal aid and I was left trying to find a way to scrape together money for an attorney that I did not have.

The Ralph Lorigo firm is a joke. They allowed their client who had documented dementia to change legal documentation in favor of an individual. This sparked a court case that lasted two years. A representative of theirs Jon Minear was extremely rude and unprofessional every time we were in contact with him. He tries to put words and lies into your mouth and makes empty threats towards you. I've never seen something to ridiculous in my life. This firm should really be ashamed of themselves. I have spread the word and will continue to do so. Do not ever attempt to work with this firm, especially as long as Jon Minear is employed there.

I hired this attorney to represent me when I was buying a house.i let him know I wanted him to take care of everything that should be done.i bought the house. several months later,i am served with a lawsuit,whereas an attorney claimed that someone else really owned the house,and they wanted possession of it.i called greg perla and told him.he would not help me.as a result,i lost my house.and not only that,but I paid him over $4,000,which at the time I thought was too much.it was my first house,a fsbo,and I thought matters would be simple.
