Attorney O'Shea helped me through several very painful times in my life. I've never met another attorney that knows the law better than attorney O'Shea. EVERY time I required 'legal action', he was a 'legal machine' in providing me with expert counsel. He can be an "attack dog" when necessary but more often than not - he resolved my issue's with his incredible knowledge and with a perfect skill set! He simply outsmarts the opposing counsel. I've met most family attorneys in York Pennsylvania, no one is even close to matching his skill level! Trust me, Tom will defend you and provide you with excellent guidance through your ordeal. As mentioned, I've needed his services a few times-every time the situation was resolved with a favorable outcome for me. Don't bother nor waste your time or money by meeting with any other family attorney! He scores 100 out of 100 in my book! And my cases were complex!
He should have the nickname "Terminator" in court because opposing counsel knows they are about to be beaten.

Our legal situation was extremely complex. We were originally residents of PA with the requisite legal documents. Then we bought a home in FL and were residents there, with a whole set of FL-required documents. Recently we sold our FL property, became PA residents again, and because of changes in circumstances, we needed to have PA documents prepared once again.
In addition, we are a step-family, each with our own kids.
We are extremely pleased with how Attorney Bupp straightened out our legal document mess and drafted a simplified system that protects us and our assets, and in a fair way, at our deaths, directs those assets to those we care about.
Our old documents from both states and our step-family situation presented huge challenges which Tim saw as no problem. After patiently listening to us and our desires, Attorney Bupp made suggestions, but the decisions were always ours to make. Each time we presented him with an additional problem, Tim solved it. He was also great at translating the legalese into language we could understand.
We trust this man's knowledge and expertise with our long-term needs, (we are elderly), but most of all we trust the man!!!!

I would not recommend MPL Law Firm, specifically attorney Richard Robinson, for anyone in need of reliable legal representation! My boyfriend has been incarcerated, and we have been deeply disappointed by the lack of attention and care from his attorney. My family and I reached out to Heidi about a charge I had from 2018. I had moved to Florida without finishing handling it and a bench warrant had been issued. Heidi was able to get the warrant dismissed and the original charge down to a summary offense that only required paying a fine. As I near $40k, and over a year and a half in divorce expenses, I could not imagine having a better lawyer and ally than Dave Schanbacher. In divorcing the daughter and sister, of two county judges (from the county in which we and our children live), Dave has brought a superior knowledge and accountability to a flawed system. His profound expertise has enabled him to sort out fact from fiction, and to beautifully navigate what is clearly an uphill battle, and an arduous process. While we still have much work to do, I can’t imagine having a better and more trustworthy attorney. My only regret, is that I didn’t hire Dave as my first attorney; instead opting for a local, and egregiously less talented local (Bellefonte) attorney.

Hired him for my divorce. Definitely laid it on thick when first met him. Provided him with detailed and organized information. Paid him considerably to review information and to be prepared. None of that happened. He was so disorganized and unprepared in court. I found times where I had to bring information to court that he already had, but wasn’t prepared with. He still fumbled through and couldn’t present case. Pretty embarrassing. I give you one example of many. We had to go in front of divorce master. Both parties had appraisals done. One item a four wheeler was appraised $1600.00 of any book value. I pointed this out to Dave way before meeting to submit for evidence. He said just bring to meeting. Needless to say divorce master wouldn’t except it because it wasn’t submitted for evidence. Thanks Dave you just cost me $1600.
This is just one of many mistakes. I really considered firing him, but at the time I couldn’t afford another retainer. Believe me I checked with other lawyers. When I told them what was going on, they just shook their heads.
I hope someone who reads this,learns from my mistake. Looks somewhere else. I will say this about Dave, he’s a shark when he’s trying to get more money from you. Too bad it doesn’t follow into court. Sad display for a lawyer claiming to have all this experience. Good luck.

I choose this law firm because the location was great for me since it's not far away and it's convenient they are open until 5pm. Had never worked with an Attorney before but wasn't impressed and glad I changed council. Fees are based on a “sliding scale” percentage depending on amount of money your working with = Expensive. In my case for an Estate account. I planned to handle basic responsibilities like opening the account to pay bills, reduce late fees, phone calls, etc. but that was made out to seem like it would be complicated and they should do all the work. $$$ Jack wasn't very personable and didn't shake my hand once. Glad I went with my gut and changed to an hourly Lawyer that was willing to let me be a part of the process and not nickel and dime me. I do not recommend and hate the idea of paying the ridiculously high bill I received for the little work that was done.

Vicky was great at getting me scheduled for a consultation quickly, and Jack was able to review my contract in easy to understand terms and ensure that all clauses are reasonable vs anything out of the ordinary and weighed the pros/cons of making a change. Fortunately, this was fairly uncomplicated and the only potential change would not be significantly relevant for me so we did not pursue any changes. He was very nice to talk with and I would certainly recommend him for others looking for contract review.

Marakay Rogers helped me with a child custody case recently. She was honest and upfront with me about what we would be dealing with and our chances for success, although they were limited.
