My case with my ex was dragged out over THREE YEARS! Repeated phone calls and emails with no return from her. Was quoted $1500 for my case and paid over $4000. They diddle dallied around and let my case just hang out there. My ex then got enough time to file bankruptcy then I got screwed. Wouldn't recommend her for my dog!

They were very unreliable and rude during calls! I would not waste my time with this law firm. They were very unprofessional and hostile towards me. This was just the initial phone call. They canceled my appointment to review my case one day before my appointment and I lost time on my case. Theywere very insensitive about my case issues almost yelling at me on the phone. The people at the company came off as very unhappy and stressed.

I feel even one star is too much. My mother and I worked with Amy trying to get grandparents rights and I have nothing good to say. We were told she was an amazing lawyer and she would do anything to fight for what she knew and felt was right. First we had a zoom consultation with her and then heard nothing from her or her paralegal for months! I had to email and call several times to get a response to find out Amy LOST our file in someone else’s case file! That should have been enough for us to say ok we need to find someone else but we thought we would give her a chance I mean after all we are all human and accidents happen. Then we were charged for a visit to the office to do nothing but the exact same thing we did in the consultation! Long story short, 8 months after contacting Amy, we were told there was nothing more she could do for us and we had to withdraw our court case. There were several times I emailed and called and received no response. The entire time we felt she wanted nothing to do with our case and just wanted to throw it aside but still collect our money. When we withdraw our court case I emailed asking about a refund that Amy stated we would receive along with requesting all the documents that were filed in our case file, I again had to email 3 times asking for these before the paralegal responded and acted like she was oblivious to any lack of communication through our whole case when she was included in all of the emails. I can’t speak for the other lawyers but I would not recommend Amy for any family law case.

No one wants to need a family law attorney. Very few cases in family law are the kind where everyone ends up happy.
If you find yourself in this situation, you want the best. I can confidently say this person is Kathryn. She is accessible to her clients, remembers the details of your case, tells it like it is, and isn't afraid of anyone. I would gladly pay her 10 times what I did if I had to use her again. Her representation made a world of difference to me and my kids!
I've read the recent negative review and have no issue saying that it's clearly someone who was on the losing end against Kathryn. That person doesn't actually have any negative comments on her skills and ability and instead makes rude comments about her appearance (which is always impeccable by the way)...sounds like someone who is bitter they chose the wrong attorney instead of hiring Kathryn.

When the unexpected need for an attorney presented itself, Attorney Kathryn Nonas-Hunter came highly recommended by both friends and colleagues (who had also retained her as counsel at one time or another) as well as other professionals in the local legal industry. Attorney Nonas- Hunter is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to family law. In addition, she was always easy for me to get a hold of, keeping me constantly updated on my case, my rights and my options along the way. She was professional, courteous, punctual, not to mention she was extremely calming for me prior to walking into the courtroom. It didn’t take long for me to see why she was so highly recommended. They’ll give you a roundabout price, expect to pay about 5 times that amount. They’ll charge you $56 to read a 6 word email. Apparently it takes them 12 minutes to read it. Charged me about $4300 for one court appearance that took about an hour when that was supposed to be for my entire divorce proceedings. Use someone else is my advice.

Knowledgeable, professional and ethical. These 3 words define our experience with Attorney Clofine. We wanted to redraft our wills and POAs as well as obtain advice on asset protection. Attorney Clofine answered all of our questions, listened to our concerns and made sure our documents clearly reflected our intentions. Prior to meeting with him, we attended a free seminar held by another local elder law firm. It felt more like a sales pitch using scare tactics than receiving legal counsel; the firm was overpriced and selling products that are unnecessary for most people. don't hire this "attorney!" Doesn't work for you to receive the best compensation in a divorce. Won't stand up to other attorneys and fight for you. Charges you for every minute of time he wastes on your case at $250/hr. Don't make the same mistake I made and lose thousands and thousands of dollars you deserve to receive!

Failed to effectively communicate with me. Mr. Reynosa allowed inaccurate information presented by prosecutor to harm me. Did not correct factual errors of my PSI. During the sentencing phase, he did not advocate on my behalf. Did not mention favorable or mitigating factor as well. The billing is highly questionable. Me and my family are extremely disappointed. I'd advise caution to anyone looking for representation from this attorney.

"I'm leaving a negative review for the attorney handling my grandmother's divorce. The divorce was mutually agreed upon, but the attorney continues to drag her feet, seemingly to extract more money from us.
She's unprofessional and after paying her thousands of dollars, she's now claiming we need to find a notary. This process has been ongoing for a year with no resolution.
It's led me to believe we've been scammed and she's stolen our money. Extremely disappointing experience."

With a very specific set of situations for family law and advocacy for myself and family she has been phenomenal and continues to be. There are times I do have to wait to get a response back like any other human being, but I without failed due, and she always takes the time to communicate with me andanswer questions even when I am being somewhat of a pain in the butt, she has handled everything with grace and with compassion and I highly recommend. My attorney for years was Mr. Wolfson who has been retired now for years. He was an amazing attorney also. He cared, when I worked with him it was about children and he knew they were in a bad situation and he poured himself into helping to get them to a better place. He was a very intelligent man who had many years under his belt and we fought and we won. Now he is getting ready to retire and along came Farley. He was impressed with him but he was winding down and this young lawyer was just getting warmed up. A friend of mine ended up in a horrible situation and it seemed to me they had him convicted before he even went to trial. I called Mr. Wolfson and explained the entire situation and asked him, Mr. Wolfson if this were your friend in this situation what would you do? Who would you call and he told me if it were him he would call Farley Holt. That's what we did. I saw earlier where people comment they felt he wasn't paying attention, did write things down etc. I felt that way too a bit. But I trusted Mr. Wolfson's wisdom and knew he would never steer me in the wrong direction. These kind of trials take a year or two to begin and when it's your life on the line it somewhat like torture. We also didn't Farley that often and of course worried to death how he would ever remember all of the names we gave him, the details etc...Finally the day came. A courtroom, judge and the jury all in itself is scary but it quickly became clear to us that Farley was in his element. Those names we thought he never really heard were both subpoenaed and didn't show up. He stopped the trial and had sheriffs drag them out of their beds and bring them in to face the jury. It truly was amazing. My friend was fearful but yet angry being drug through this mess for 2 years when he truly was innocent. While he was on the stand Farley spoke to him in a quiet and gentle voice. Allowed the man to tell his truth and he did great. We left the courthouse and walked back to his office and you ask, what do you think??? He told us with a jury you just really never know but now I'm going home to sit in my office and write my closing argument and do my best to save this man's life. A tense and sleepless night. Next morning we showed up again. Poor Farley's little girl had been ill that night and I had to wipe his suit where she had been laying on his shoulder. They do their closings and now, you wait....a very long and painful wait. Finally its time, we go in and he has to stand up while they read the verdict of 17 charges, one at a time. 16 Not Guilty and 1 guilty. Lord, I would not wish that on anyone, but if you ever would find yourself in that position I will give you the same advice. Call Farley. A friend of mine is an anesthesiologist and he had the same skills like Farley. He could go to a lecture in his 14th yr of Dr. school and use a note card, one side to take notes and pull off an A every time. He is listening, he cares and he's a fighter. I know one thing for sure I would never want to be on the other side of him because in my eyes he is a master at what he does. He saves lives too. This same friend is now suffering with Cancer and I've gotten to know Farley over the years and as we walk through this part of life he has been nothing but kind and helpful as we try to maneuver through the end of life issues. I am now 64 yrs old and I can tell you there is nothing much scarier in this life than being accused, jailed and put on trial for your life when you are innocent. My best advice is stay out of the York County Court System but life happens and if you find yourself there call Mr. Holt. He may not win them all but I promise you he will fight with all he has for you and I don't know what more you could ask for. I feel blessed and privileged to have had the pleasure to know him.

Met Mr Holt on 5/27/2021 - concerning a slip/fall case. He informed my wife and I we cannot get it into court. There is a judgement ,(supposedly) that was filed by the other lawyer. Mr Holt h as s yet provided us a copy of that judgement. He said he would mail it to us; as of February 2022 still do not have a copy. He also said it was based on some case from 1949 or 1949 but could never state what law. He just sat back in his chair and stated, well it's a good law. Asked again, what law. Never received a response. Sent him a gmail.....no response . I have my own thoughts about his behavior but will not mention.

My wife and I have dealt with quite a few family law attorneys over the last few years. By far Attorney Kogut was the best we have had by a mile. Her fees were a flat rate which really helped us out a lot. She was extremely consistent with communication even on weekends and after hours she would respond to my emails. I never had to worry what was going on or what was next. She took her time to explain everything and really help my wife when it came time for the hearing. Overall best experience I’ve had with an attorney. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone dealing with TPR or adoption or really anything family law oriented. At the end of the day I am extremely grateful for her help and I’m glad I trusted my gut and went with her to handle my case.

Good lawyers tell me she could have won my case on the corpus delect rule, alone, and should have moved for a mistrial when the assistant prosecutor revealed a impermissible conflict of interest. You get what you pay for. She was appointed by the court that paid her legal bill. Worst lawyer EVER. But she is still getting those appointments, so there you have it.

Alisa Livaditis is very corrupt. If the court appoints her to your case, know that you are going to lose and prepare yourself for observing things never before seen in a court case. She doesn't care about you as a client. This firm has a record for "longest serving" in York County for a reason. They don't advocate for a "client" if it will upset the judge and their main source of income. How they get bad reviews scrubbed, I don't know.

Attorney Gil Malone helped my family prepare our wills, advance directives, and a disabled trust fund. He was experienced and careful will all our documents, and its great to see a local team working together for quite a few years. Gil is very direct and to the point, which I can see might have triggered some of the negative reviews, but I appreciated that he was protecting us.

They called me and left a voice mail. I am not a client, so I called to let them know the person they intended to give the message to, never got it. Asked who I was and then gave me a bunch of attitude. It doesn't matter who I am, I wasn't the person they wanted to talk to. Very unprofessional.
