Oren Ross & Associates LLC assisted my wife and I with estate planning. Oren was very professional and gave us a thorough overview of the process. He left no questions unanswered. Prior to speaking with Oren, we were not sure if a Living Trust was for us. We immediately felt comfortable about the Trust at the end of our consultation with Oren and started the process. Mr. Ross has the unique ability to take what is normally a dry, uninteresting subject (estate planning) and make it easily understandable.
Having been thrust into the sudden position of executor upon my husband's untimely death, I can assure you that there are definite "pitfalls" that can cost you untold time and expense unless you are able to strategically plan for them.
While websites that offer boilerplate wills online my appear attractively cost-effective, for the everyday person, they will NEVER replace a professional attorney with hands-on experience in this field.
I found Mr. Ross knowledgeable, competent, and willing to patiently answer any questions or concerns in a timely manner. His ratings from past clients were stellar, and his fees were extremely reasonable. The whole process from personal meeting for info collection, to estate plan execution was streamlined into just a couple of weeks.
The confidence and peace of mind that come from knowing that your final wishes are at last written out in a simplified, easy to understand, legally binding document is undeniably freeing.

I only made it as far as a phone call seeking help for a modification of a divorce decree and was told by the lady that answered that they don't do that here. Very confusing as the firm is listed with a keyword of divorce and the website also mentions both items I asked for help with.

I called the office trying to get a consultation, the receptionist asked me which attorney I wanted to meet with. I’m not familiar with the process so I responded that I don’t know, any attorney that can do a consultation. She said that she could book me 2/4/6 weeks out. When I asked what the date would be and which lawyer it would be she hung up. I don’t know every lawyer in YOUR office, miss. Rude

Walter M. Britt is truly heaven sent when it comes to defending his clients. I had to go through 5 different lawyers just receive someone this exquisite and ambitious. I went from facing a life sentence, to a reasonable bond with ankle monitor, then to no ankle monitor, and now my case is dismissed. Even when I doubted he kept fighting for me. Walt thoroughly reviewed all the evidence in my case and prepared an exceptional strategy that ultimately led to my victory in court. His preparation was remarkable. No stars. Courtney Moss is Ospina's former partner. My child's custody was transferred by a caseworker outside of court order with no signatures and I was barred from her. I was never served or charged or prosecuted. I was demeaned in every way possible in legal filing referencing no tangibles and pulled into court with an inactive case number for the enforcement I filed for. DFCS,DCSS and the state are 10 years in arrears. I was demeaned as being stalked by police officers even as one was arrested. Both me and my child suffered from the trauma of being ripped away from each other and me from being barred and assaulted in custody under specific order. Judge Helhoski said she did not sign the warrant. They were trying to secure an obstruction and DFCS was trying to secure my signature. They got neither. They told me to show up and be forced to reunification. I requested they were prosecuted for the irreparable damage they caused. My daughter was sending messages that she wanted kill herself. They belong in prison.

I had a dispute related to covid protections and my shared custody of my two children. When my ex refused to coordinate or even talk about important issues and my divorce decree was unclear, I had no choice but to hire legal help for an arbitration. Jeanette Soltys approached this contentious situation with calm, professional precision and neatly avoided escalating the already-excessive family drama. Her main concern was restoring a positive coparenting situation and building a foundation for parental collaboration in the future with better legal solutions than had been written in my divorce decree. My divorce had been self-filed, but if I’d known how much difficulty that would cause me now, I’d have worked with Jeanette on the initial decree and I believe she would have had to foresight to ensure a post-divorce problem like mine wouldn’t have happened.

Ms. LaScala represented me in my divorce case. While she seems very knowledgeable and experienced, I did not feel her preparation for my mediation was adequate. I felt pressured to settle and pushed into an agreement that did not reflect my best interests. She told me from day one that alimony was intended to be restorative, not punitive, but in the end the amount and length of alimony was excessive. It was a long day and I feel like she folded rather than suggesting alternatives. After mediation she was difficult to get in touch with, did not return my calls, and was not available to assist with finalizing the terms of my divorce for things like QDRO and transfer of assets.

Laura and I have worked together on different cases, and most recently, shared a client with very unique needs. to sincerely thank Jennifer McCall’s legal office for their genuine services. I had worked with Jennifer before in a previous divorce case and knew that she gets the job done. This time, Jennifer was not my first choice for representation because this child was born out of marriage and I associated her with family law and divorces, not custody. So I went with a referral from a friend that was way more expensive. That law office and attorney did not listen to me or fight for me or my daughter at all. I fired them and remembered custody cases are family law and and proceeded to hire Jennifer for this custody case. With Jennifer’s office I always felt heard throughout the entire process. Jeremy Abernathy was referred to me by another attorney and I could not be happier with the outcome of my custody case. My case was a bit difficult and throughout the whole process, I always felt as if my sons livelihood and best interests came first. He fought tooth and nail for us and stuck to his guns both in and out of the courtroom. He is going to do what's best for you, your children, and your case to make sure you get the best possible outcome-and will do it in the most professional manner. He showed his expertise and at times if I was a bit difficult, he brought me back down, reassured me, and even prayed for me which I greatly appreciated. He explained everything to me and made sure I understood properly. He showed up to court very well-prepared, organized, well-spoken and professional but will also go toe to toe with aggressive opposing counsel or opposing parties if needed, and it made me feel as if he was really looking out for my son and I and fighting for what's right. There were times, even after-hours and weekends, when I needed guidance on how to approach situations with the opposing party and he was very responsive and didn't make me feel like I was a bother. He's very rational, fair and won't let you fail in the courtroom for having your own personal expectations that may be unrealistic. He made me feel heard and that he cared. Based on personal observation, he is also very well respected by his peers as well as the judge that we had. I would recommend Jeremy to anyone going through a legitimation and custody case. Chris was amazing!! I had a year long divorce proceeding she was very persistent and accommodating. She was very compassionate and caring. Anytime I needed her she was in contact with me with a matter of mins to the next day at the latest. We were awarded everything I was asking for as well as primary custody of my children. Balean and Kristy kept me sane during the hardest year of my life and I am forever grateful.
I was too nervous to reach out to a divorce lawyer even though it was well past time, so a friend of mine who is a lawyer in another area talked me into it and recommended these two personally. I can't say enough good things so I'll try and break it down into the things that are/were important to me in a divorce.
They are NOT pushy. I was so nervous the first call, I did not want to get a divorce. I even (politely) told them I hope we don't ever need to talk again. They were extremely supportive. Not one single time did either of them push me towards a divorce. They answered all my questions honestly and thoughtfully and I never felt rushed.
On the flip side of that, they are also very cognizant that their time is expensive. So for me, it is very hard to find a lawyer who is constantly aware of running up your tab, but personable enough to trust them and not feel like just another check in the spreadsheet. On top of that, I have ADHD so I can get off on a tangent with the best of them. Both Kristy and Balean we're very good at redirecting me into the areas that mattered and pushing me though the areas that didn't without letting me get hung up on them.
They are extremely prompt (during business hours, I cant speak to otherwise because I don't expect people to work 24/7), I don't think I ever waited a full day for a reply. You WILL feel like a priority. Which frankly with how being a lawyer works, is pretty remarkable.
They know their stuff. I don't know a better way to put that. And if they don't know, they make it a priority to find out. I had a few odd snafus with property issues and a few (lets say less than reasonable) demands from my now ex, and if I had a question they tracked it down if they weren't already sure.
They are generally fun and calming presences. Mediation went for a full day, so Balean was trapped in a room with me for probably 12 straight hours. And if you aren't aware (i certainly wasn't), mediation is very much hurry up and wait. When we had the mediator, it was 100% business. When she was in the other room, we walked through everything we needed to discuss, got advice, and then were able to relax and recharge a bit before the next turn. As you can imagine, its an emotional time. I went from needing to pace the hallways angry to bouncing off the walls bored to everything in between and not once did Balean get even slightly irritated with me. They are VERY aware that you're going though something and that while we need to be efficient there also needs to be room for you to be a person with feelings and needs.
So if you don't read all of that, the important bits are they are going to make you a priority and you'll feel like it, they will not run up your bill for no reason and will be honest when they think something may do so, they give you grace to be going though something hard, while also getting you though it in a prompt and efficient and competent manner. I absolutely would not even consider another legal team if these guys are available. I can't speak highly enough of this firm.

Considering not all “clients” tell the truth, it is irresponsible to spread information not confirmed in a court of law. I hired Amy in April of 2021. She was incredible and saved me from making serious mistakes when I was overwhelmed in a terrible situation.
