Theresa Childress lied to me and promised to do things that she never did. Once she realized that she was losing she quit my case without a valid reason and left me without representation 10 days before mediation. She recorded our conversation without my knowledge and refuses to give me a copy of it until I threatened to report her to the Board of Professional Responsibilities - which I am still going to do. She charged me a lot of money (nearly $10k) and I’m still not divorced yet! She bragged about how much smarter she was than opposing counsel and how she often had won against her previously in cases. I didn’t see her to be very smart at all! She was late to hearings, unprepared and was advised that her motions had to be rewritten due to errors. She claimed she couldn’t get a favorable judgment in court because the judge didn’t like me!!!!! She did absolutely nothing to help me.

I had a very complicated divorce case in Bedford County. Stan Bennett was my main attorney, but I also worked with Dinah Michael and Brad Hornsby. Allyson Hornsby did a phenomenal job as my paralegal too. Stan really believed in my case and is very well respected in Bedford County. The number of times I was told by the judge, mediator, etc that “they’ve never seen anything like this” is a good testament to how complicated my case was. Stan and his team fought with everything they had during each trial, appeal and challenge. They used their vast legal knowledge and were willing to do the research for all of the unusual things that came up. Stan, Dinah and Brad did a fantastic job in court and were often complimented by the judge on how well they tried the case. I can’t thank the whole team enough for everything they’ve done and how it turned out. If you are looking for an attorney that believes in you and is willing to fight the fight, I highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Thomas Bray to anyone looking for an attorney that not only is going to "work for you" but he cares about his clients. After experiencing the worse surprise of my life being told my husband wanted a divorce, I had a friend recommend Mr. Bray. I am so glad they did. He was tough without being mean and he was caring and kind and quick to respond. It truly felt like he had mine and my boys best interest at heart. Upon recommendation by a friend, we hired Stewart to prepare an estate plan and all related documents, including a Revocable Living Trust, Durable and General Power of Attorney and Last Will and Testament. My wife and I found Stewart to be knowledgeable, direct, sincere, honest and reliable. We met with him at our home for an initial consultation where he explained the process and gathered our information. We were impressed with his expertise and thoroughness and his ability to explain legal information in terms we could understand. Stewart then drew up all the Draft documents for us to review. After having answered all of our questions and making changes, a Final set of documents was drawn up for signing. Stewart was readily available to us throughout the process. What I initially thought would be a daunting painful process, turned out to be straight forward and simple. I give credit to Stewart for making it so. We also found his rates to be very reasonable.

I hired Ben for a very long child custody battle for my daughter after hearing great things about him from a close family friend attorney. Throughout the whole process from the paternity test to the parenting plan, Ben was always doing whatever he could to make sure my little girl would have her daddy in her life. He led and guided me through the toughest time of my life; a time where I wasn't sure if I would get to see my little girl. I had recently divorced and my daughter's custody arrangement was not going well. She was back and forth way too much and she wasn't happy. I wanted to go back to court for a better parenting plan but my original attorney was on a leave of absence. I spoke with several attorneys but each one of them told me "it was too soon" to go back to court. Emily took my case and in the mean time, my daughter was falling apart with the current plan. We went back to court and we are currently working on a new plan. Emily was a blessing to me and my daughter. I highly recommend her. She is a fighter and she has become a friend to us.

Ms. Pollina was very quick to respond to emails and questions. Our case was handled quickly and there were no complications. She makes you feel very at ease and it is very easy to talk to her. She shows you the same respect as you give her. Some attorneys have a “I’m the smartest one in the room” attitude, but not Ms Pollina. Jerry and his paralegal Becky are both exceptional. I had a lot of anxiety going into my divorce and he truly helped me through the entire process. Becky also helped me with any questions I had and was always available. In the end there was no need for my constant worry and anxiety because I ended up getting everything I was asking for. I had consolted with another attorney who seemed great during the initial consolt. However, when I was wanting to hire her she would not return my calls or emails for 3 months. This led me Google to search for another attorney. I found Sarah Reist and now I am glad that other attorney never replied to me because I found Sarah. When I met Sarah, she was with another firm. She was very kind, pleasant, informative and professional. She spent a good amount of time with me. She answered all of my questions. I immediately hired her to write a letter to my ex spouse which she did quickly and efficiently. She since then has opened her own law firm with a colleague but I was very happy because she took the time to write me and give me her new contact information. She also called me to check on me and make sure that I received her letter with new contact information. When my ex husband called her about the letter she wrote him, she called me right away the same day to inform me and thanks to her letter, my ex spouse finally reimbursed me for medical expenses after 11 years of not paying at all. Sarah always answers my emails and never forgets about me. I am now in the process of hiring Sarah Reist again to proceed in child support enforcement / filing a petition for contempt. I have absolute faith in her and recommend her to anyone who is looking for a family law attorney. I also want to say Thank you to Sarah for being so nice and kind to me.

I cannot recommend Sarah enough if you are a father wanting your legal rights protected and your children are in the Nashville area. I live in Michigan, my children were in Tennessee in the Nashville area, and I now have full, permanant custody of them in Michigan. It was a lot of work, and very stressful at times, however, if you are wanting an attorney who will work extremely hard for you, if you are wanting an attorney who is not only smart, but capable and devastatingly aggressive in the courtroom in pursuit of your rights and interests, you cannot do better then Sarah.
I am 100% convinced that having Sarah as my legal console made the differance in the outcome of my custody battle. Thanks to her efforts, her hours of hard work, and her zealous prosecution of my rights, I now have full custody of my children. I could not be more grateful for the services she's rendered, and could not recommend her any higher. If you are a father wanting to be able to play an active role in your children's lives, and you have to deal with the family court system, call her. You will be glad you did. I and my children sure are.

Lance Drury and his team of amazing Tax Lawyers did an AMAZING job on my case. I tried working with the IRS for months back and forth to get the facts straight on my taxes from 2022! It took them two years to decide that my taxes were incorrect and when I would submit all of my forms over and over again, they would provide the same statement of back taxes due without any explanation. Lance and his team worked quickly, to get my tax issues resolved in the best possible scenario. The communication from them was beyond amazing, they advised of realistic outcomes and pursued the best for me and my family. I am grateful for their hard work and diligence.
