She convinced my husband to divorce me out of nowhere and divorce is already stressful and hard enough but then has been advising him to use the worst dirty tricks in the book to further damage me emotionally. This woman has ruined a beautiful marriage and relationship that could have been salvaged as well as slandered both of our names and reputations through her poor use of rude strategies.

The worst lawyer and advice ever recieved I wasn't even working with her when she still continued to bill me. She had told me a number of times my retainer had ran out and she couldn't advice me anymore and then I recieved this bill that she's trying to put through to collections.
Also she will side with the other side. My baby daddy wasn't even showing up for court the easiest case ever he wasn't even involved in the childrens lives and I wanted passports and protection and needed proof of him NOT being an active father.
She did absolutely nothing and I have her $6K she's taking me to collections for $127. U guys think about how petty of a lawyer and hungry she is.

the front office lady I spoke to was WONDERFUL and helped me so much.
BUT Jennifer was awful. I waited 2 hours 3 different times to speak with her and she never called. She finally did call and the 30 minute phone call was only 11 minutes because she didn't know anything about getting custody and had to talk to one of her other supervisors. I was needing help, I was desperate and she did not have the urge to do anything she had told me. She was EXTREMELY rude on the phone call and it was unacceptable. I then days later after waiting got told that she couldn't help me and recommended me to just do it on my own. I do NOT recommend this law firm or better yet Jennifer. She was not good at all.

I am not a client, but a defendant in a case with T.J. Samson Community Hospital which this firm represents. This case is about collections which I talked to Crystal in billing about today. I’d like to first say, I am not upset my hospital bills were turned over to collections, and have no problem paying for them. I started out nice and eager to figure this all out and start paying my bills, however from the second the call started she was rude and carried a condescending tone. I have never dealt with a matter like this before, therefor I didn’t know what was expected of me, but I do know what’s expected of her considering she works in public service. Much like a child, she was quick to cut me off, talked to me like I was an imbecile, and raised her voice when I called her out for the way she was speaking to me. I am usually not one to complain but the matter was as simple as needing to know what payment to make and where and she could not get through a 5 minute conversation without being bitter and cold, even refusing my phone call when I had tried to reach her again to figure out what payment I agreed to. Although I cannot speak to the attorneys capabilities or manners, I’ve read the other reviews and it seems as though this place lacks severe communication skills and common decency.

10/10 recommend Mr. Mathis. He answered all our questions regardless how small they were and was super quick in answering back emails. I trusted him with my immigration process and have no regrets! We even moved across the country while our case was still pending, and Mr. Mathis was still able to represent us. He transitioned smoothly and did not make the distance affect his way of working for us in the case. We cannot thank him enough for the job he did!

After my father died without an excellent Will and Trust in place, forcing our family into probate and major headache for over a year, I decided to do mine right and do it now. Brandon and Lydia came to Nashville to meet with my wife and me at no charge, listened to our story, questions, and then thoroughly assisted us with the knowledge we were seeking. There are so many scenarios people need to be aware of before assuming a “free” or “do it yourself” kit will cover it. Griffin Law Group went right to work and Lydia communicated extremely well during the process. Lydia and two staff members came back to Nashville for the signing, securing, and thoroughly explained more, as we are now in a lifelong business relationship with the firm. We don’t and our children don’t ever have to go it alone. My bank manager asked me how much they charged me (the bank is always interested in trying to sell something), and after I told the price, the banker said that was an excellent price, hard to match, and impossible to beat. Nick acted like he cared about my case. As the victim of long standing DV, ending with my ex being arrested and a SWAT team being involved, I thought I would finally see justice. Nope. Nick didn’t return phone calls/emails. I had proof my ex was violating multiple conditions of his bond order. Nick simply didn’t care. Transferred the case to Shelby County. There will be no consequences. So now my ex gets to do this to someone else. Nick is a coward. Lazy. Incompetent. Unprofessional.

My brother and I who both live out of state needed an attorney to handle a rather complicated estate for our father and step mother in the state of Tennessee. Bobby was referred to me by a local friend in Franklin and we could not have been happier with the choice.
Bobby and his lovely mother were incredibly responsive to our needs, budget and the difficulty of having clients who reside out of state. Bobby was able to handle the matter to our ultimate satisfaction and was able to navigate successfully the complicated state of affairs our parents had left upon their passing.
Once Bobby sorted out the estates he was able to refer us to another local attorney to deal with the real estate sale portion which was also fairly complicated.
My brother and I greatly appreciated the services Bobby provided, as well as the piece of mind that this matter was being handled professionally and in a timely manner without us having to fly back and forth from out of state.
I would highly recommend this firm to anyone needing a quality lawyer with excellent values, and experience in the state of Tennessee, especially for matters in Williamson County.

DO NOT HIRE! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I read reviews about this attorney that were alarming, however, she came recommended by the Domestic Violence organization, so my family decided to give her a shot. We hired her in 2018 and were happy that of all the other attorney's we looked at, she seemed tohave one of the lowest retainers. That was our first mistake. One of the reviews said that she didn't file the correct paperwork, or that she missed deadlines. Both of which happened in my families case. Another said that she lost every motion even when the other parties council was inept. She did in fact lose every motion and got steamrolled by opposing council. The other side got everything they wanted while we got nothing. For example, she never introduced the police report that was filed that would have supported the domestic abuse claim. They initially had 2 weekends a month, and that was changed do 10 days a month, plus many holidays. For someone who has never been alone with his child for an extended period of time in her whole life. For someone who was abusive to both the mother and the child. The father went from having approximately 48 days a year to having 145 days a year! She is lazy and overwhelmed and our end result was worse than what we could have ever anticipated. She comes across as caring, but is unprofessional and highly disorganized. She does not return calls or emails in a timely manner. Her billing is unclear. Due to her incompetency, my family has paid tens of thousands of dollars to undue the damage she caused. We are now severely in debt and it is all because she damaged our case from the very beginning. Please stay away. There are many other attorneys in Rutherford County that are better. Our end result isn't perfect, but it was the best possible outcome given the damage that Rebecca caused. It is now 3 years later and we finally have some semblance of closure. Not perfect, but livable.

Ms Lashbrook was highly recommended to our family by a trusted friend when my daughter passed away - a single mom leaving behind a minor child with no will in place to determine who would have custody. It was a very scary situation. Ms Lashbrook helped us secure custody with my other daughter & work with DCS to get all the legalities taken care of. She was extremely caring, sympathetic and went out of her way to assure us we did not have to concern ourselves with this added legal burden as we were grieving over such an unexpected loss & all the other issues that came with it. She was very knowledgeable of the law and made the entire process go smoothly. Both she & her assistant, Julie were extremely caring, thoughtful & concerned for our family. We were blessed beyond words by their caring & personal approach in this situation.
I consulted Ms Lashbrook again recently regarding another matter & found my interaction with her & her staff just as caring & helpful. They actually listen to your concerns & take that extra time to do that without a focus of adding up additional fees for each minute spent. They also welcome your questions and are patient in giving answers that you can understand and this helps you (the client) make wise decisions & feel confident you were informed of all the legal ramifications of those decisions. We had Kevin help us with adopting our sweet baby girl last year. We are military and stationed overseas and Kevin and his team made our adoption unbelievably easy. The easiest of the 3 adoptions have finalized. He was able to expedite babies birth certificate and request a court order for us to get a passport so baby girl could come back home with us in a timely manner. 5/5 recommend.

After meeting with a non attorney fit the consultation that cost $250, I had several questions that the paralegal presume said they were questions for the attorney. So I paid $250 for someone that couldn't answer my questions. I then emailed & called to proceed that would have been $2500 additional. After 2 weeks of asking to speak with an attorney prior to me paying the $2500, I decided to pass. After losing my mother unexpectedly and taking on her car note & mortgage, I need to actually speak to someone who can answer my questions. I've paid the $250, was ready to proceed, and I needed someone to reassure me (who was an actual attorney) that they were as passionate about this matter as I am. Unfortunately, I couldn't even speak with the attorney and pretty much threw $250 away to meet and office full of 20 sonething year olds while I don't even think the attorneys were in the office to begin with. After constant request to speak why attorney, I decided to pass. Nice racket hitting people up $250 a pop to speak to someone who can't answer my questions nor has a law degree.

Ms. Rubenfeld and her team helped me through my divorce 5 years ago. I was very young with a newborn while trying to navigate a divorce due to my husband's infidelity. Abby met with me whenever I needed, emailed with me as long as I needed to, and returned my calls when I needed. She provided the best possible advice, and she fought for me even when I was ready to give up and give in. Even when I simply needed to vent, she always seemed to listen. When we would go to mediation and she would see my frustration, she would fight harder for me. When we would go to court and she would see my fear, she would reassure me. She was also always willing to work with me financially if needed. To this day when problems arise, she is still willing to provide the best legal advice.
