HIRE JULIE CAPUTO with Port Gardner Law Group!!
October 2024 - I was fortunate enough to be referred to Julie by another attorney a year ago. She was the 3rd attorney I had met with and she was able to see me on very short notice within 48 hours. Immediately, she put me at ease. After our initial visit, I already felt a huge weight had lifted. I was very glad that I had not already retained an attorney at that point. Right away, I felt Julie was "the right one". She was sincere, compassionate, caring, and I could tell she was smart. She immediately took control and told me what I needed to do in order to assist with the case. I hired her right then and left the meeting feeling as if I was in capable hands - and rightly so. On very short notice, Julie and her team were able to frame and present my case which secured a positive outcome at the temporary orders hearing-- for me to be awarded primary custodian of my children and to be able to temporarily remain in the family home. For the past year, Julie has worked diligently through numerous obstacles and challenges from the opposing party while maintaining a high level of courtesy and professionalism to all parties throughout the process. I am very pleased with the outcome and so glad that I chose to trust Julie during this process. Some attorneys are "sharks", or overly aggressive. I would say that Julie is assertive, fair, smart, careful, and very knowledgeable about the law. I’m a criminal defense lawyer with 45 years of experience, so when it came to my own difficult, complicated divorce, I knew I needed the best lawyer possible. My first lawyer was, at best, mediocre. Then, during a court zoom hearing a couple of months into my divorce, I watched and listened to Cynthia First representing another petitioner. It took me five minutes to make the decision to see if she would represent me.
I know lawyers and the quality of what they do, having worked with or opposite as many as 400 of them. There are three at the top of the list, lawyers who are brilliant, caring, dedicated. Ms First is one of those three. She’s super smart and knowledgeable not only about the law but also about people and situations. Her skills in representation go beyond that: She cares about her clients. My emails were answered immediately, even during off hours.

I was already well into the process when I was referred to NW Injury Law Center. My feeling is had Jesse been holding my hand from the beginning things would have gone much smoother. If you've not been in an auto accident lately, there are many hoops to jump through and nobody is volunteering any information to help you. From the moment Rose answered my call in May 2018 to when we settled in the Fall of 2022 they treated us like family and made my daughter and I feel as though we could always trust them. I had received a speeding citation from a cop in Pierce county. I went online to try and find an attorney to represent me. I stumbled upon Michael Sheehans reviews and saw he had helped a lot of people. I decided to have him represent me and he did not disappoint. He got my speeding citation dismissed in court and I had to pay nothing to the courts at all! He was a lifesaver for my future career and I appreciate it! It may take alittle time because of the backups in the courts system, but give Michael time and he will not disappoint you. Thank you again Michael for getting rid of the citation.

I want to truly thank Nathan for his help seeing me through a very challenging chapter in my and my child's life. Nathan's support was critical in navigating a highly contentious custody situation with an uncooperative ex-partner. Nathan helped guide me through the whole process which thankfully ended in favorable outcomes for myself and my child. I cannot say the process was easy nor if family law a clear-cut area where you will absolutely know going in what to expect. I will say Nathan was an invaluable partner in this process and helped me feel confident we were doing what was right for my child each step of the way.
My ex-partner has a history of withholding, unilaterally making medical and educational decisions without informing you, as well as most recently filing baseless CPS claims against me. Needless to say, this created an extremely contentious situation. After years of trying to handle things amicably for the sake of my child, the situation reached a boiling point when the CPS claims were filed, which was an extremely scary experience. I feared losing access to my child and damage to our relationship.
Nathan was instrumental in guiding us through this terrible chapter. He helped me successfully hold my ex in contempt of the parenting plan, address the unacceptable conduct around medical appointments, and ultimately gain significantly more parenting time with my kiddo.
While the process was not easy, and family law can be complex with uncertain outcomes, Nathan served as an invaluable partner who helped me feel confident that you were doing what was best for my kiddo throughout.

They put you through an inital intake process which is positive. I wanted a quick end to my divorce and was happy to compromise to make it happen. Our goals seemed to align.
Unfortunately this firm provided poor council during the first phone call with the attorney. Luckily this did not lead to a financial move that would have put me in violation of a court order. Later the attorney wanted me to provide documentary evidence he had previously advised against in an aparent 180. Such documentation was previously claimed to put me in legal liability. What can I believe?
Very disappointing.
Divorce is tough enough. I hired an attorney becuase I am no legal expert and I wanted a quick, mediated end to my marriage. Instead I get bad and changing advice. Plenty of good reviews of these guys. Hope I'm an outlier.
