September 12th, 2022 police arrived at my door to tell me they were investigating sexual claims made against me, outlandish as they were I immediately panicked because as everyone knows, once these rise against you, you’re pretty much screwed. I immediately reached out to any attorney and was recommended Vindicate law, I spoke to the receptionist and explained the case and was assigned Carrie Fulton Brown. She accepted my case. The path to freedom was long and arduous. After the arraignment they told me I was facing 60 years in prison. Many continuations later, my anxiety and stress were at an all time high. Me and Carrie never really talked to each other about the case itself except a few times as my case was entirely hearsay, but because of the fact that it was from a minor the case was stacked against me 10 fold. Communication with Carrie was very rough, as most people sitting in the hot seat just want a shred or a glimmer of positivity but Carrie did NOT deliver on that front in the slightest. But that was okay, because she was dedicated to working against the state in a screwed up system. Most of the beginning of my case I knew most people and even Carrie didn’t believe me when I say I didn’t do it. Later on I passed 3 polygraph tests trying to prove I didn’t do it, and only after the 3rd one when I passed it with the actual prosecutor / State did Carrie tell me she strongly believes I didn’t do it. She gave me the best options to follow forward and going to trial with a minors words against mine was bleak, Carrie fought for the best outcome, I served 0 days in jail, no fees or Fines, Didn’t have to sign a sexual registry, all 4 counts were dropped to a Class C Abuse of a child. And 1 year of DOC Probation in which I spent 3 weeks on before the DOC discharged me from probation saying my crime didn’t fit criteria of having probation as I was a zero risk person and this was the only thing I’ve ever gotten on my record.
All said and done, I’m glad Carrie pulled through for me and allowed me to stay out of prison and remain with my family and to continue working she’s a tough person to understand and rough around the edges when talking to her but she’s nothing but business which is what you want in an attorney. Thanks Carrie for giving me my life back! 60 years was a long time to be away.

I am absolutely appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and utter disregard for my situation shown by Carrie Fulton Brown from this Law Group. I entrusted her with my case, believing her promises of dedicated representation, and instead, I received nothing but empty words and an empty bank account. She happily accepted my retainer, and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing. During the 6 months period she was my attorney, before her withdrawal, phone calls went unanswered, meetings/appointments were canceled for no apparent reasons. No investigations were done on my case, she did not interview no witnesses, and the so called ”victim“. Furthermore, Carrie had the audacity to tell me I was borderline harassing her by calling her and her incompetent paralegal Lisa too much. She literally took my money and vanished into thin air. Carrie Fulton Brown is a trash of attorney. I suffered significantly due to her inaction, and I was left feeling completely abandoned and betrayed. I would strongly advise anyone considering hiring her to look elsewhere. Save your money, save your time, and save yourself the immense frustration and disappointment. She is a disgrace to the legal profession.

I wanted to share that the experience I had with the view ridge law- more specifiacally with the attorny Elaina T. was far from well. I had to end my session with her early and request my money back. I paid her to help me and instead she spent time telling me why I couldnt get what I wanted and defending the other party. I also found out she did not read all the paperwork I sent in which she claimed was irrelevant to the case which was entirely unture. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and care that was given to me. Our meeting was not recorded so I was not able to prove that way she was speaking to me to her superiors. The only positive that came from this was that the office did refund me my money. I lost out on a very timely situation due to their lack of attention.

Alexandra was wonderful to work with. I was in a motorcycle accident last year and was getting pushed around by the at fault insurance co. Alexandra explained everything to me helping me understand all of the logistics along the way. All in all, I ended up getting my motorcycle fixed, all medical bills paid and even a little money left over to cover any needed future physical therapy etc. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a great attorney.

After going through quite a lengthy ordeal with a car accident, I finally decided to hire Alexandra. Not having worked with any attorneys before, I had no idea what to expect. Alexandra educated me by breaking down an intimidating process and judicial system into something comprehensible and digestible for me, walking me through every step of the process. I knew she was an advocate and had my back when she provided confidence, courage, and energy, when I thought I had none left to give. Alexandra helped me get through a long process, one that I never thought would end. I would definitely hire her (though I hope I don't need too!) if I was in another car accident.
The only thing to note is that she is a start up and has a small team. This means she's personable, relational but sometimes is really difficult to get in touch with and coordinate schedules. It was a periodic challenge but nothing concerning as I had the utmost confidence that she was taking care of everything that needed to be sorted out.

October 2024 - I was fortunate enough to be referred to Julie by another attorney a year ago. She was the 3rd attorney I had met with and she was able to see me on very short notice within 48 hours. Immediately, she put me at ease. After our initial visit, I already felt a huge weight had lifted. I was very glad that I had not already retained an attorney at that point. Right away, I felt Julie was "the right one". She was sincere, compassionate, caring, and I could tell she was smart. She immediately took control and told me what I needed to do in order to assist with the case. I hired her right then and left the meeting feeling as if I was in capable hands - and rightly so. I’m a criminal defense lawyer with 45 years of experience, so when it came to my own difficult, complicated divorce, I knew I needed the best lawyer possible. My first lawyer was, at best, mediocre. We approached Ms. Ahmed with a very complicated divorce case. It was a devastating severance of a 50 year marriage that completely unanticipated. Culturally, even in this modern and progressive day of age, divorce is not a matter that is commonly experienced, especially within the generation we were dealing with. We are Pakistani and Muslim which brought significant complexities into this case for us and especially for Ms. Ahmed as she navigated through our situation tirelessly first simply to understand all these components. We were really left in the dark by the opposing party, and we could not 'help' Ms. Ahmed much. I know we did not make it easier for her. At every turn we presented her with 'I do not know". We did not have anything in our control, we didn't know where anything was, we could not untangle anything for her. We made her work as challenging, and difficult as it could possibly be. We were completely an utterly in the dark, and that is how we approached her. Yet, she managed us, emotionally, professionally, compassionately, step by step along the way, and investigated our situation from every single angle and then some. This was over a year of harsh struggle and she unwaveringly stood by our side. There were times where we did not want to hear what she wanted to say, but that did not deter her from always being realistic and honest with us. She wouldn't give us one possible outcome, but ten. Credit to the LvBC team - Seth and Karl are outstanding!
I hired them to assist with a residential real estate case. I performed an initial consultation with several other firms, but Seth and LvBC clearly stood out even at early stages. Throughout the entire process they were consistently responsive, informative, and realistic/honest with me. I truly felt like I had expert guidance at every step, and that they took their duty of looking out for my best interest seriously.
LvBC got a tough case - it was a complex situation, the case lasted longer than expected, and there were multiple teams of opposing counsel to contend with. Seth and Karl are the real deal though - and they helped secure a favorable outcome for me. I have seen them work, and they are the folks that you want on your team.

Jonathan was HIRED to obtain a divorce for a friend of mine. He instructed me to co-sign his retainer agreement of $2300 just in case my friend was unable to pay. $18,000 dollars (this was the amount Swartz said my friend or I owed him by that time) later my friend found out that Swartz hadn't even filed a DISSOLUTION of MARRIAGE to the Superior Court of Mason County. And we found out that he was working for the defendant too, also, by hearing her ask him why she was paying him money. And he let the defendant totally strip the contents of the home against the court orders. My friend turned him into the Washington State Bar, and Swartz still tried to charge me the amount listed below..... Then of all things he turned me into Grimm Collections of Tumwater to obtain his 'money' for DOING nothing. I had paid him a $2300 retainer to start the case, which I had forgiven. But still tried to charge me an additional $4831.94 dollars. We turned him into Grimm Collections also, and the matter was dropped
My friend had to represent himself in court many months later by filing a Nunc Pro Tunc motion with the Mason County Superior Court to legally finalize his divorce. Thank you Commissioner Sauerlander. Who I think could still remember the mess caused by Jonathan Swartz.
This was many years ago and I was reminded of this crooked attorney by sorting through my friends paperwork (RIP my dear friend) and came across the correspondence between Swartz. the Bar and my friend. Then it all came back to me. He should have been DISBARRED in 2011. Perhaps he has changed, but watch your wallet closely if you hire him.

Later on I passed 3 polygraph tests trying to prove I didn’t do it, and only after the 3rd one when I passed it with the actual prosecutor / State did Carrie tell me she strongly believes I didn’t do it. She gave me the best options to follow forward and going to trial with a minors words against mine was bleak, Carrie fought for the best outcome, I served 0 days in jail, no fees or Fines, Didn’t have to sign a sexual registry, all 4 counts were dropped to a Class C Abuse of a child. And 1 year of DOC Probation in which I spent 3 weeks on before the DOC discharged me from probation saying my crime didn’t fit criteria of having probation as I was a zero risk person and this was the only thing I’ve ever gotten on my record.
All said and done, I’m glad Carrie pulled through for me and allowed me to stay out of prison and remain with my family and to continue working she’s a tough person to understand and rough around the edges when talking to her but she’s nothing but business which is what you want in an attorney. Thanks Carrie for giving me my life back! 60 years was a long time to be away.

I am absolutely appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and utter disregard for my situation shown by Carrie Fulton Brown from this Law Group. I entrusted her with my case, believing her promises of dedicated representation, and instead, I received nothing but empty words and an empty bank account. She happily accepted my retainer, and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing. During the 6 months period she was my attorney, before her withdrawal, phone calls went unanswered, meetings/appointments were canceled for no apparent reasons. No investigations were done on my case, she did not interview no witnesses, and the so called ”victim“. Furthermore, Carrie had the audacity to tell me I was borderline harassing her by calling her and her incompetent paralegal Lisa too much. She literally took my money and vanished into thin air. Carrie Fulton Brown is a trash of attorney. I suffered significantly due to her inaction, and I was left feeling completely abandoned and betrayed. I would strongly advise anyone considering hiring her to look elsewhere. Save your money, save your time, and save yourself the immense frustration and disappointment. She is a disgrace to the legal profession.

please do not hire this attorney. He did not file my response papers and ruined my adequate cause hearing. He lied to me on numerous occasions that he messaged the other party council when didn't, didn't turn in my papers that the court requested, and didn't fight for me in court to the point that hehad to pay attorney fees to the other party. I had to apologize to my ex's attorney in which they laughed at me. It was embarrassing and hurt me. I went through chemo and lost my son in a very inhumane way cause of my ex's lies and I found mark on thumbtack and gave him my situation and he offered to help only to make my case even worse. I tried contacting him number of times and he barley ever responded. After my cause hearing I let him go and he went MIA for awhile. After hearing from past clients and the state bar that there is a open investigation against him for him doing this to numerous people i was in complete shock. I begged Mark to give me my retainer back and after many attempts he finally emailed me saying he would but than never did. He took his profile off of thumbtack and took down his website for his law office. He is being under investigation and avoiding it. Be aware!

I wish I could write a positive review for Mark but unfortunately I can’t. He completely sabotaged my case. What was a pretty straightforward child modification case turned into a complicated mess that left me beyond stressed. Not only did he break court rules that basically backfired on me and now left me with the unfavorable aftermath but his lack of communication and disinterest in following through and defending his client AND missing court deadlines has caused me a great deal of stress! He broke so many ethical rules, I still can’t believe happened to me! I hired him to help me not destroy me! Please do yourself a big favor and save yourself a great deal of stress by finding a reputable lawyer! My ex had a retirement set up for us both, from a 20 year marriage, and told me I had to find another lawyer if I wanted to attempt to get any portion of the fund. I got an excellent divorce settlement. The attorney responsible was retired when the ex-husband began short-paying, late-paying and then not-paying spousal maintenance. Ten years ago Richard was just ok. Although recommending a Special Needs Trust for my parents' wills turned out to be an unnecessary and expensive proposition. In needing to dissolve this SNT following both of their passing, we sought a meeting with him, but had a Zoom meeting instead. He simply read our emailed questions back to us with out answering them. He was not helpful and seemed to be confused, just referring us to other associates for things we needed.

His staff also exhibited those same fine attributes throughout. Together Richard and staff made our estate planning a most pleasant and productive experience.
Richard brings to his practice many strengths. The ones we most appreciated were his willingness to listen carefully to what we thought were our needs, his ability to clarify a complex subject and thereby help us better understand and refine our needs, and his calm, reassuring manner of gently guiding - never pushing - us toward the products most appropriate to meet those needs.

We received a panicked call from the escrow company handling the refinance of our home advising we needed to remove it from our trust 'right then' in order for the refinance to move forward to closing a few days away. She is a competent attorney, but she told me so many times that she would do something that she never did. It was very frustrating, especially with the amount of money I was paying her.
Examples are she would tell me she would get back to me within a couple days and she wouldn’t, she said she would look into many things for me which she never did.
When going through a divorce you need an attorney who will do the things they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do them.
