I contacted the Law Offices of James H. MaGee after talking to another attorney about my financial difficulties. The difference was night and day. I was confused about my options and swimming in an avalanche of information which only added to the confusion. I had reservations about filing bankruptcy.
So I did some research to find the best possible attorney. I went to his consultation and was very pleased and comfortable discussing my case. I hired him that very day. He and his staff were very respectful, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend Mr. Maghee as your choice if you are overwhelmed with finances and can't get a grip on them. We were referred by our car dealership person to Jordan after we could not get into a car. We filed bankruptcy in august 2018 and discharged December 2018. The process was easy and painless. For over 3 years I was embroiled in a complicated litigation as the Defendant. I met with Robert Hahn for a consultation. The first thing I noticed was the bold copy of the U.S. Constitution on the wall, as a honorably discharged Veteran it made me think Robert was the right Lawyer for me. After he reviewed my case, I was impressed right away with the fact that Robert was able to explain bankruptcy in a way that I could understand, based on my particular case. At one point Robert's attention to detail caught a payment issue that I had overlooked.

He was patient and quick to respond even at 4am when I was uncertain about what papers I needed and how to make them into a PDF file. I can say I did drag my feet getting everything together (3 years almost) but he never pushed me to get it done faster instead he would check in from time to time and give me the encouragement I needed to keep going with what seemed like a overwhelming and daunting task. I called to request a consultation late on a Friday, the attorney was not available at that time. He called me back first thing on the following Saturday. I was really surprised as I had not expected to hear back until Monday.
Tim provided me with suggestions as to what I should do and also provided me with the needed steps to take to move through the dispute on my own. He said that hiring an attorney would be more than the amount I was dealing with in regards to the dispute.
His explanation was great and made me realize that this wasn't something that I had to freak out about and that it could be dealt with regardless of the outcome. He also didn't make me feel bad about the situation, which I appreciated.
If for some reason I need to file bankruptcy in the future (I hope not) or if I know someone who is in need of a bankruptcy attorney, Tim will be who I go to or suggest to others.
