If they do not want to represent you, they will not honor the free consultation they have on their website. I called them last week to inquire about the free consultation. A paralegal, Lauren, took my called. She emailed me and told me that the lawyer declined to represent me. I never met with a lawyer or anything at all. I gave them vague details and just wanted THEIR consultation because their website popped up on Google for government liability. I was hoping to hire them.
In the email Lauren sent me, the subject line was Clayton County Sheriff Office, which has nothing to do at all with my inquiry; this leads me to believe they misunderstood my inquiry. So, I replied to her email for clarification.
She never replied back.
I called her to get a better understanding on why they would not do the free consultation and why they declined to represent despite not knowing the details on why representation is needed. She told me they do not handle criminal cases. I REPEATEDLY TOLD HER I AM NOT INQUIRING ABOUT A CRIMINAL CASE!!!! She refused to listen and seemed frustrated. In the end, she said she'll reach back out to the lawyer for more info.
I felt dismissed and emailed her to disregard.

I worked with Juan Silva from The Dressie Law Firm. He worked on my car accident case for 3 years, he was so understanding and caring. Answered all my questions and more. During this time with working with him I had surgery that was cause by the wreck he had checked in on me while I was in recovery. I have been in serval accidents in my life and have never needed to call an attorney because the other driver’s insurance always accepted accountability and provided a rental immediately. This time, I was hit by a guy and filed the claim. Once filed, they refused to take my calls and hung up. I called Matt at his firm for help and he too was met with resistance and lack of cooperation. He persevered and was able to recuperate all the money I had lost. His entire team was always available, kind and truly honest. Throughout the entire process, I was always kept informed and abreast of any changes or challenges. Have you ever seen a corrupt cop get torn to shreds on the stand? I watched Will Moran absolutely destroy three cops in a row without breaking a sweat, leaving the prosecutor with nothing but innuendo and conjecture to use against me. He pushed hard during a two year legal battle and not only succeeded in getting my charges dismissed, but had the court grant me immunity to prosecution. He is truly a champion for the falsely accused.

What can I say. When I 1st went up to the office Adam was there a long with his team. And they IMMEDIATELY made me feel like family. Having to go through probate and a court appointed administrator I had to deal with a lot of different lawyers. Nothing compares to the way Adam and his team were. I NEVER had a problem getting him or anyone on the phone or an email response. Mind you I had given up because my case was turnt down by multiple lawyers. I thought they were alright but they appear to nickel and dime you for everything. I don't have an issue paying for services rendered but to be charged for a phone conference about potential services for a new tax issue seems unethical. They'd successfully assisted me with state tax issue. And because that particular issue was resolved efficiently, I requested a phone conference for a new tax issue because the details of the issue were complicated and a phone conversation was simply more efficient. They charged me almost $700 for the conference call AND the response to the emails that I sent requesting the conference call AND the follow-up emails they sent after the conference. That is absolutely unfair. These were calls about assisting with a new issue. You mean to tell me I was charged to ask questions on whether or not they could be of assistance and then charged for the emails they responded to? Absolutely not.

If you’re reading this review it means you or a loved one is going through a rough time, and you are weighting your options. My family and I also were in a similar situation. They made the decision to trust in Kimberly Berry and the legal team at Lawson & Berry and it was not the wrong one. She fought for me TWICE and won. She is the reason why I am able to post this review today and give her and her staff such high praise.
