I was at my "wit's end" after 16 months with the legal system having charged me with 4 criminal counts. I contacted Counts Law Group on Friday for HELP and Cynthia Counts agreed to meet with me on Saturday at 10:30 (Father's Day Weekend w/Family visiting) to evaluate my case. Come early Monday morning Cynthia and Family were siting on a Court room bench with me.
She had taken a Good part of her Father's Day Weekend to prepare my case before the court and traveled two hours "early thirty" Monday to have the court to acknowledge her as my co-counsel and at noon to present a motion to dismiss all 4 charges. Because of her arguments before the court, ALL 4 charges were later dismissed! If the legal system had more Cynthia Counts, those condensing "lawyer" jokes would most likely disappear! Bottom Line - 16 Months of sleepless nights vs. a weekend

I was served in April '14 in GA; this was the only time I have been sued. It was a terribly stressful time because I was struggling to make ends meet and with two small babies in diapers, my wife and I did not know where to turn for help. I asked the lawyer of a colleague if he knew a good attorney to help me in a defamation lawsuit. Without any hesitation, he emphatically told me, “Cynthia Counts is the best there is for that type of case”. The fact that my colleague’s lawyer knew of Cynthia and was so adamant in stating her abilities immediately gave me confidence because the referring lawyer is a criminal defense attorney whose clientele and case load are in a different realm of law than what my case was, yet he knew of Cynthia Counts and her abilities.
I immediately called Ms. Counts and let her know who referred me to her. We agreed to have an initial consultation to discuss the case. Not having any previous experience in legal matters, I was concerned about being kept in the loop and having a comprehensive understanding of what was taking place, as I tend to be somewhat of a micro-manager, which is a difficult thing to be in a subject for which I had no formal training. It became apparent to me immediately that there was an added benefit when I learned that Ms. Counts is an adjunct professor, as she was able to frame things for me in an easy-to-understand context. Her teaching experience was also an added benefit because when I expressed my desire to be able to assist in my own defense, she gladly provided me the opportunity and gave me specific research assignments and tasks to be performed in order to help myself. She would then take the time to explain the results, meaning and impact of my research while all the time continuously teaching me and citing other precedents and GA case law concerning defamation and Free Speech. She also provided an in-depth and invaluable education in Georgia’s Anti-SLAPP legislation, background and intent.
Furthermore, once we entered the courtroom for the first time and found out that the Plaintiff’s attorney steered the intended purpose of the initial hearing from evidentiary to something else, I got to see what Ms. Counts was really made of. She basically walked into an ambush on that first day in court and we were not prepared at all for where the first day lead us because it was supposed to be an evidentiary hearing that ended up being bifurcated, for which the first part was never disclosed in advance by the Counsel for Plaintiff but for which he was fully prepared. So we started our first day in court with the deck stacked against us, but in the end it did not matter because Ms. Counts knew the law.
Because of her vast knowledge and depth of understanding of Georgia law, Federal law, Constitutional Law and her intimate familiarity with the Georgia Anti-SLAPP statute and precedents, she was able to successfully ward off the attack by Counsel for Plaintiff not only that day but two days later when we continued. Her courtroom delivery over those two days resulted in turning an ambush, and potential disaster, into the Judge issuing an order that protected my speech and resulted in Plaintiff’s immediate dismissal of the case.
Throughout all phases of the case, Ms. Counts was always available either in person or via proxy through one of her diligent and well-written associates. Even when time constraints and schedule conflicts would have prevented other people from making time to talk, she was available and responsive through holidays, weekends, as well as nights. She is passionate about her work, knowledgeable about the law and is one of few that still believes in the truth above all else. If you are being sued for defamation or other alleged First Amendment violations and you were right and you were just in your actions, Cynthia Counts is the lawyer for you.

Cynthia worked on my trial on false criminal charges that stemmed from a civil rights violation. She has demonstrated a thorough and in-depth knowledge of First Amendment and other constitutional and civil rights case decisions and a willingness to think outside the box. I consider her to be a first-rate attorney, especially for media and free speech matters.
When questioning one of the witnesses at my trial, Cynthia was matter-of-fact, calm, and professional in working inconsistencies out of the witness. When writing motions, she cited an extensive case law history that applied to my specific case - demonstrating to me that she works hard on her cases.
Also, Cynthia is one of the most ethical and trustworthy attorneys I would recommend - her manner of speaking is very straightforward and her presentation skills are first-rate. She arrived early for my continuance sign-ins to avoid the huge waste of time that I've seen other defense attorneys put on their clients, and her court time was used efficiently and appropriately during trial. I was referred to Ben from a local attorney in the southern portion of the State of Georgia. A Lawsuit was being handled in the Atlanta, Ga. Courts and he agreed to handle my interest. Lindsay was soooo helpful especially in my situation with this case. I've been in a very low spot in life and Lindsay was there for me whenever I needed her whether it being about the case or talking me through my anxiety with everything thats been going on . Whenever she said something would get done it would get done when she said it would , with if not better results than what was expected . Lindsay was also very empathetic towards my situation and It made me feel a lot comfortable because she made me feel like I can speak to her not just as an attorney but as a friend or more like family . Most people in this world don't give that kind of time and love to people anymore. Let me just say in this field or work , there needs to be more Lindsay's. Lindsay's communication was awesome and that means a lot coming from someone with semi poor social skills, anxiety , and semi poor memory . She was also VERY patient with me as I said I am in a rough spot in life right now , with that being said I would not get back to her as quickly as I should have sometimes but she still got the job done even when I was idle. Lindsay is so nice and made me feel extremely comfortable whilst communicating about the case and if I did not understand certain terms she would break it all down for me in a way I could understand she would even repeat it a few times just so I could really comprehend what's in motion . I'm 23 years old with that being said I don't know too much about a lot at this point in my life and Lindsay made sure to educate me on topics I was completed lost on. Lindsay really shined a lot of light on my situation and I'm very thankful she was put in front of me to be my attorney. I wouldn't have asked for anyone else . Dwayne surprised me from the start. I was so badly injured, I could barely move from my bed. But after hearing about my situation, Dwayne came over to my apartment to see me personally. About five years ago I was involved in a hit and run car accident that left my mother and I with injuries that were hard to prove. The responsible party was no where to be found, thus leaving me with the burden of proving to my insurance that I wasn't at fault and therefore entitled to the insurance benefits that I pay for. At least that is what I thought...however, I quickly discovered that it wasn't going to be that easy.
Despite my reluctance to contact councel, I did so based on a referral from a friend. That turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made! When I contacted Mr. Darryl Dwayne Adams at The Law Offices of Michael L. Neff, P.C. he immediately made me feel comfortable. He completely destroyed the stereotype I had regarding attorneys! Mr. Adams was professional yet personal, confident but not arrogant and intelligent but never acted as though he was above me.
Even though my case wasn't worth much, in terms of monetary value for Mr. Adams, he worked tirelessly on my behalf. In addition to his diligence he was also very patient. He was working with my mother via phone and emails due to the fact that she lived in another state.
The insurance company worked just as diligently to prevent my mother or I from collecting a settlement! My case took three years to finalize and Mr. D. Adams was with me every step of the way. Ultimately my mother and I both won our settlements for the maximum allowed based on my policy!
I can honestly say Mr. Darryl Dwayne Adams is a wonderful person and attorney! He went above and beyond, although he will say that he was just doing his job. I suppose I should add modest to his very long list of qualities that make him an excellent lawyer.

My business was in a dispute with a competitor. My lawyer was first rate. She help me put a stop to a lot of the little game my ex was playing. She fought hard and embarrassed my ex and her lawyer. Make my ex admit that i wasnt fighting for revenge but the right to see my daughter. Using they other lawyers claims and evdince against them. Needless to say i still had a field day not bc i watch my ex stuggle... Ok maybe a little bit; yet it was mostly the way my lawyer handle the case. She never let the ball drop while in court or helping me.

I consulted with Ms. Sadler regarding a commercial lease that I needed help negotiating. She went over the lease with me and pointed out areas that had I signed the lease would have been a very bad mistake for my company. She negotiated on my behalf and edited the lease to make the terms for fair. Ms. Sadler was available and her fees were very reasonable. She was willing to work within our budget.

Enrique assisted me with a demand letter to my apartment complex. There were issues with a leak in my apartment, that they could not fix, which resulted in mold. My furniture was damaged, and the humidity from the leak caused mold to spread everywhere. Enrique informed me of my rights as a tenant and was able to get the apartment complex to reimburse me for the damages and cost of moving to the unit.
He also assisted me in reviewing a non-compete/non-solicitation agreement with my current employer.

I had the pleasure of using Mr. Williams as my attorney to settle a legal matter in which we brought suit against a customer that did not pay for some costruction services provided. Bob was eager to listen to the details and help me understand the law. Bob went the extra mile and made every effort to satisfy our needs. We were granted a court order for our client to pay his debt within 45 days of trial or else suffer the consequences of beng in contempt of the court. I was thrilled. I have been in business for 30 years and use lawyers all over the United States; even though we are in Florida we use Mr. Williams for most of our work, although his office is in Georgia. Why would we use an out of state lawyer; he is dependable. I have been a client of Mr. Williams for years and he has never disappointed me with his quality of work or his ability to communicate. He has never over charged or taken advantage in any way as it pertains to billing. He is a lawyer who knows how to complete a transaction and not disrupt a transaction.

Yasha Heidari is a rockstar of the legal world. I have used other attorneys in the past. Mr. Heidari is on another level.
I had a complicated case. I spoke with attorneys that gave me all sorts of conflicting advice and none of them made me feel very good about my case. I received Yasha (Mr. Heidari's) name through a personal friend that spoke extremely highly of him and hyped him up. His hype was more than deserved.

I recently used Mr. Heidari and had both great results and great experience. I googled him and found this page, and to my suprise, I'm going to be his first review.
I came to know and use Mr. Heidari from a friend of mine who highly recommended him. To be quite honest, when I met him, I thought he seemed a bit younger than attorneys I have used in the past, but I will tell you right now: I will easily give Mr. Heidari my HIGHEST recommendation and will tell anyone, without a doubt, that they can't pick a better choice than Mr. Heidari.
It didn't take long for me to learn why my friend gave Mr. Heidari such a high recommendation. First, he is VERY knowledgable. He seemed to have a mastery of all subjects at hand. I've dealt with quite a few attorneys in the past, and I am a professional myself-- I can easily tell when someone is blowing smoke. Mr. Heidari does not blow smoke. He is exceptionally smart.
Second, he is extremely responsive. One of my biggest gripes with attorneys I've used in the past is that they didn't keep me in the loop, would take a long time to respond to my calls, etc. This is quite the opposite with Mr. Heidari. When I first met Mr. Heidari, I asked him what made him and his firm special. One of the things he told me was that his firm tried to make each client feel like he or she is their only client. Initially, I thought that was simply good marketing, but I will tell you that he is 100% correct. He made me feel like I was special and always had access to him. I once called him at his office at 9 p.m. at night intending to leave him a voicemail, but to my suprise, he answered the phone and spent around an hour talking to me. When we had difficulty scheduling a meeting and some deadlines coming up, he met with me on the weekend. I even noticed he didn't bill me for most of our conversations and asked him if it was a mistake, to which he responded that's not how he does business. WOW! (My previous attorneys would charge me through the nose if they told me "Good morning".)
Third, and definitely most important, he won my case! You should have seen the way he DESTROYED the opposing attorney's arguments! It was a pleasure to see. (I almost felt bad for the opposing attorney. I say ALMOST!) This seemed to be the general trend with Mr. Heidari. Even though I'm not a lawyer and sometimes had difficulty understanding the legal aspects of his letters, e-mails, and court documents, it was even clear to me that he was doing an exceptional job. (Mind you, Mr. Heidari would always explain to me what was going on and tell me the next step that was going to be taken without me having to ask. He was also very patient, understanding, and helpful with all of my questions even though I admit I can be a difficult and demanding person sometimes.)
Overall, I've said a lot, but the point is that Mr. Heidari is an exceptional attorney and I'm very happy I used him. I'm not the type of person that writes reviews either. I don't think I've written another review in the past 10 years, but I simply feel exceptionally good about my experience with him. Everything else aside, if I need legal services, I will use him again. This is 100% without a doubt. I simply don't care what the matter is or where the matter is. He's earned my business for life. I will also recommend him to everyone I know (and their uncles) because he is simply that good.
