I hired Stephen in spring of 2023 in somewhat of a panic and not knowing much about him or his practice. What stands out about this, is this was on a Saturday evening and him and I were in contact for almost 5 hours that day discussing details about my case, and his strategy to represent me. I had a minor misdemeanor charge, but it was a very big deal for me, and Stephen treated my case as it was just as important for him as it was to me. His communication was amazing with myself and my fiancé, and Stephen made me feel at ease in one of the most difficult/scary times of my life.
Mr. Rountree met me right before every court appearance to get my thoughts, questions, concerns, and represented me very well each time. We suffered a case that the tenant did not pay rent over 2 years. Every time, the tenant filed an appeal or motion, just trying to delay the eviction. I turned to Lisa for some help. He is an excellent attorney my ex-employer made me signed a non-compete agreement back in 2008; after working there for five years I decided to leave the company and work on my own 7 months later I received a letter of cease and desist based on such agreement.
