Vicky and her entire team are client focused. She is very responsive to your needs. Vicky or someone from her team answers all emails and calls within 24 hours. Vicky is honest and open about the process and the details related to the process so that there are not any surprises or false expectations. Yet, she has a very calming demeanor and kept me calm when my anxiety was through the roof. When it comes to dealing with the other side Vicky is tough and relentless. This allows her to fully understand our business needs and goals while helping us navigate the legal landscape. As our primary business attorney, she is our first call when something comes up. Dennis Brislawn is an exceptional lawyer. He is very professional and he helped me with a difficult problem I was having with a suppressor I bought while I was living in Washington state. I purchased the Bronze level trust of the GUNDOCX Trust system (which Mr. Brislawn created ) in November of 2012 and was approved by the BATFE and received my stamp in May 2013. My husband took a job transfer to Texas and we moved before I could get my suppressor so I applied for a form 20 to transport the suppressor. Things became more difficult for me when the dealer I bought the item from lost their FFL. For several months I tried to get the matter taken care of and it became more difficult since the dealer could not help me . I could do nothing on my own. Then I contacted Dennis around April of this year to see if he could help. He made phone calls and advised me on how he could handle things. He also updated my trust from the Bronze level to a Silver level since I now reside in Texas. I flew to Washington state this June and I was finally able to get my suppressor. Dennis was able to accomplish so much in a short period of time. He is very thorough and he gets the job done

Without Dennis Brislawn, I wouldn't have been able to fulfill a childhood dream of owning a suppressor. I put the wheels in motion back in February of 2013 when I created a trust and applied for the stamp. About 10 months later, the ATF finally approved it and I raced down to my local dealership to pick it up. Unfortunately, during those 10 months, I fulfilled another childhood dream of changing my legal name and this barred me from getting the suppressor since it was for the trust with my former name. I had zero legal experience and no idea what to do. I even considered just eating the cost of the stamp, getting my money back, and abandoning this goal from my bucketlist. Thankfully, I got in touch with Dennis who walked me through the whole process. We want to express our deepest gratitude to Courtney Bhatt for her recent work on a complex special education issue in a rural school district in the greater Seattle area. Our gentle, autistic child was in a miserable kindergarten situation in which she was repeatedly intimidated, humiliated and punished for autistic behaviors (including an inability to express herself verbally) by untrained staff assistants and a classroom teacher who inexplicably refused to fully incorporate the advice of autism experts. All polite attempts we made to address these issues ourselves failed. Add to this scenario a principal with a history of secretive behavior and a district special education director who routinely bullies and intimidates staff, students and parents. It was an absolute mess and our young child suffered greatly—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Moreover, the district placed our child and her disabled peers in a moldy classroom which sickened our child (as well as other children and staff) and then steadfastly refused to address the issue in a timely or thorough manner.
The good news is that all this changed when Courtney entered the equation. Courtney has polite, soft-spoken mannerisms but is firm and very authoritative. She sorted through the multiple violations of special education law and obtained a formal mold testing. This testing confirmed the existence of black mold and above average levels of several other types of mold in a few classrooms, including our daughter’s. Courtney skillfully navigated the unprofessional and unethical behaviors of two district administrators and certain school staff. She quickly negotiated a new school placement for our daughter with a compassionate teacher who understands autism. Additionally, Courtney was instrumental in crafting a new IEP with goals and accommodations which made sense for our daughter.
Moreover, Courtney always actively listened to our many concerns regarding the matter. She always made time for us. Courtney is clearly a brilliant attorney who knows the law. Her responses to emails and phone calls were lightning-fast and she treated us with the utmost respect and regard.
Thanks to Courtney's intervention, our daughter's natural joy has returned and she finished her school year in an autism-friendly school with clean air! Our child is looking forward to returning to that same school in the fall. Courtney's work was so much more than just "legal help." Her advocacy on our daughter's behalf had a profound impact on a disabled child's QUALITY OF LIFE. We do not say this lightly. Special education lawyers advocate for so much more than just a good school setting or a decent IEP, they are advocating for the quality of life of some of the most vulnerable, innocent children in society who cannot speak for themselves.
We are forever grateful to Courtney for her strong moral compass and her skilled, compassionate advocacy on our daughter's behalf. It made all the difference in the life of one small child. Thank you, Courtney.

Courtney is simply a great lawyer. She believed in us, she believed in our case. I had never been involved in a lawsuit before. She made me feel protected and that I had someone fighting for me. Keaton helped us navigate a dispute with the builder of our custom home. Upon completion of our home, our builder said that there were cost overruns that were going to cost us an additional $60k, then $75k, then $90k, after assuring us a month before that we were going to "be close" to the budget. Keaton helped us resolve this dispute with no additional money owed to our builder. During the process, Keaton was very responsive, upfront with expectations, and very professional.

I first met Shanika at an event for startup companies at Bellevue City Hall and was immediately impressed with the amount of passion she obviously has towards fostering business growth. She was hands on in providing information to the community on the front lines. Unlike most law firms I worked with in the past, she alone was on the business battlefield (if you will) hashing out structural support.
Since then I have made it a point to have her informed on my business dealings and have brainstormed many projects with her present. She has personally went through all the Corporate forms with me, skyped, and even helped give support in phone conferences.
I remember a specific time our company was throwing an event (again at Bellevue City Hall) and my videographer couldn't attend. She asked me where he was and I explained the situation. Sure enough by the time I got home she had forwarded me a Dropbox file full of pictures she and others had taken.

I've been wanting to get my affairs in order for awhile...but didn't know where to start. Zach was a tremendous help. He asked me to complete a questionnaire and then met with me to review my estate and wishes. In a few weeks, Zach drafted my will, health directive, POA and Medical POA. They were perfect!

I consulted Ms. Makker for a contract dispute for a house I was intending to purchase earlier this year. Unfortunately, the deal fell through and I was going to lose about $400,000 in earnest money because the contract was a standard commercial contract and was terribly drafted. With Ms. Makker's guidance and help, I was able to get a lot of it back. I had consulted other experienced lawyers in the area and they were misinterpreting the statues and contract and told me I did not have much of a chance. However, Ms. Makker was able to get this correctly and in a timely manner. I was e-mailing her every day multiple times and she responded each time with such a complete and though response whether it was a weekend or a holiday. She made sure I was calm and understanding the process and steps. We hired Michael to set up our wills. I had tried doing it myself in the past with online forms but it was too time consuming to do it and I wasn't sure if all grounds were being covered. Michael was great to work with. We met with him for one hour and went over our plans - he made recommendations and guided us to think about options we hadn't considered. Within a few days he had our wills ready for review. We had another meeting scheduled to sign it and that was it. Very easy. It did not take much of our time. And the end result is a will we are comfortable with.
