In thinking about Tom Burke, the three words that come to mind are integrity, character and brilliance. I am in the Construction Industry and had been trying to receive payment from a customer for over 15 months. My lawyer at the time had yet to accomplish anything, so I finally made the decision to switch my representation. In under four months, Tom Burke was able to accomplish what no one else had been able to; he pushed the opposing council to avoid further delays, he kept the matter from going to court, he got us a very generous settlement, and he even went so far as to go to Kane County to pick up the check for us.

Tom Burke represented us with success in a dispute with an investment counselor. More than anything else, he was responsive and reactive to our information, asked questions on a need to know basis and kept us informed with developments. He was candid with his assessment of our posture, creative in his prosecution of our claim and persistent in his settlement posture. I am a lawyer, and I enjoyed working with Tom and appreciated his regard for my suggestions. We were far more financially benefited by his representation (resulting in more than a $1M recovery) than with other attorneys we consulted with who estimated the value of our claim at less than 10% of the settlement Tom Burke achieved. Mark did a great job creating a consulting agreement for me. Not only does he know his IP law, he also has the depth of technical knowledge to go along with that. Mark is very easy to work with and is not afraid to pull in outside expertise when required. On my project, he brought in another lawyer who regularly creates agreements like mine. The result was a meticulously coherent and thorough, extremely well thought through agreement. Mark also did a good job with my trademark application. I gave him all the information and next thing I knew I had my trademark approved and registered. If you are in the market for an IP lawyer choosing Mark would be a smart move.

Kevin Clancy literally saved our business. I don’t know how to state this more clearly.
We were a new business in our first year and we were sued by a hostile competitor hell-bent on putting us out of business. They hired bull-dog attorneys and outspent us 4 to 1, doing everything possible to intimidate us, tie our hands, occupy our time and drain our cash.
But we had Kevin in our corner. He was calm and effective when they jumped and screamed. He was intelligent and strategic when they tried to outflank us. And he was passionate and persuasive in defending us in court.

Ari is a very experienced professional, with a clear understanding of what Small and Medium companies need. The costs are competitive, compared to what you find in the market, but his support is outstanding, going beyond what you would expect from your lawyer.

As a foreign SME coming to the US, we found lawyers here to be generally very rigid in their approach and very suspicious of foreigners. Ari has been outstanding from day one, receptive and always very fast in his responses to us.

Arieh was of great benefit to me during a time when I was expanding our domestic and international business footprint.

His soft spoken voice is calming, but he can be ruthless when a situation calls for it.
