As we entered our twelfth year as a co-defendent in a lawsuit between four well-known Texas cities, I called Mr. Walker, based upon my previous experience with him, for assistance. In less than ONE year, Mr. Walker was able to professionally, calmly and quickly resolve the litigation to all parties satisfaction to where all four cities have reconstituted their business relationship and have remained friends. Mr. Walker is the consummate professional and has the ability to explain complex legal issues to the layman. I have directly observed him in his communications with Boards of Directors, judges, Board of Trustees and a City Council. We hired Jose portela to file lawsuit of massive fraud againt a fradulent enterprise in Dallas area engaged in looting millions of dollars from unsuspecting investors. We were looking for good hearted lawyers with iron fists. Jose got titaniums. The opponents had close to six to ten attorneys, some with so much experience their dentures would shake, but here is this young guy Jose with the zeal and lawyerly skills so effective that each and every motion we filed was accepted including contempt and sanctions against the defendant and their high octane zero power lawyer who basically kneeled to settle on our terms. This is a truly gentmany lawyer with tiger claws.

Mrs. Hulse helped me successfully with my immigration process. She was very knowledgeable, reassuring, and helped me present my case in a favorable light. She was very prompt in answering all my phone messages and e-mails. She explained the procedures and the way the immigration people and process work. I contracted her after speaking with other immigration lawyers, she took the time to actually hear me and looked into my situation without charging me for it. I would recommend her to help with the immigration process, especially with cases that might present some complications.

Kay took my case after The Houston Firm Ogletree Abbott, Clay and Reed resigned from my case. She reviewed my case, and did a wonderful job of explaining my claim. She was straight forward and direct. She is a good listener, and has great knowledge of the law. Her staff does excellent work also. Bruce is a genuinely good man. Most attorneys of the attorneys I've encountered have a very fluid code of ethics, but Bruce is different. He has always given me good advice and as long as he has worked with me, I have grown to truly respect him. I can count on him. My divorce has been very ugly, lengthy and expensive, but Bruce has been like a rock. If you meet him ask him about his jaguar speech on your first visit and that will tell all you really need to know about this man and his experience.
I feel Bruce needs to be more aggressive sometimes, but I have learned to trust his experience more than my intuition. His paralegal Shelley is equally outstanding.

Jeff helped me deal with the insurance companies after a hunting accident that put me in the ICU/hospital for 2 months. I am currently working with Steve Thornton. Thus far I am extremely pleased! He agreed to handle a case that all the other attorneys I contacted in Texas refused to even consider. He did more work prior to me ever signing a contract with him than most attorneys do after you have paid them! Mr. Thornton keeps me updated continually about everything that takes place. He returns my calls quickly and listens to me thoroughly. Mr. Thornton goes the extra mile to win an uphill battle! He actually acts like he "likes" working on my case; and is not in it "just for the money"! He charges a legitimate fee; but is willing to work with you and does not make "money his objective."
