Mr. Moghul represented me in a landlord-tenant dispute. I was the tenant defendant and the trial was held in a completely pro-landlord jurisdiction.
Despite the odds, Mr. Moghul stuck to the facts and was a zealous advocate from day one through a (too long) day of trial. The opposing counsel falsified at least one document yet Mr. Moghul remained his true ethical self.
Although I ended up paying as much or more than the underlying suit, Mr. Moghul could not have been a better attorney for me.
Ethics still matter, even in mid-2019. Mr. Moghul is that rare combination of ethical + energetic. If anything, he seemed to get more passionate as the day of trial grew long.
I highly recommend Mr. Moghul whether you are on the plaintiff or defendant side.

Sammy Kim, Tax Attorney & here legal assistant, Anna, were extremely responsive, knowledgeable and were able to walk me through a complex set of Tax, bank and even work-related issues. Everything was done rapidly and thoroughly to resolution.
I don’t spend a lot of time writing reviews, but I felt compelled in this situation. I had no idea how complex my case was going to be. Sammy Kim took the time to understand the details, laid out a plan and did a great job helping make sure I navigated through complex legal and financial challenges. Her office’s Korean knowledge helped me with issues that had potential US and Korean tax implications.
Not only did they help me with the case, but Sammy and Anna also took the time to help me with advice in areas that went beyond the immediate case to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. My brother is a lawyer so I have some visibility into what the day in a life of a lawyer and how busy they can get, so this level of service is rare. I decided to reach out and ultimately hire Ms. Pervaiz after receiving positive feedback from a friend. I am extremely happy with my decision because Ms. Pervaiz was very supportive and professional from beginning to end. At the time, I was in a very tight bind and conflicted on what to do next after reading about consequences that were levied on others in a similar situation to my own.
I knew that I wanted to hire Ms. Pervaiz after the initial consultation because she was confident and provided me assurance right away. She had handled similar cases in the past that yielded positive results so I was much more comfortable after reading all the horror stories online. After the initial consultation, she gave me a list of documents to obtain so she can review, understand, and fully assess my case.
After I sent over the documents, Ms. Pervaiz made herself available every day until my actual court date. This really put me at ease knowing that I could always reach out anytime I had any questions. I only called a few times mainly to ensure she had everything she needed but the initial checklist she gave me covered it all.
On the actual court date, we agreed to meet early to go over any final questions and to explain the process in the courtroom. She made it really easy for me as she did all of the talking. She laid out potential scenarios, explained the details of each situation, and asked what outcome I would prefer.
The case ended in a favorable outcome for which I am extremely grateful. I would gladly hire Ms. Pervaiz again and have recommended her to others.

Mr. Romanick and his associates work smartly and efficiently. We hired him for a collection matter that evolved into an adversary proceeding in a chapter 7 bankruptcy. Mr. Laufar not only approached the case as requested, he also introduced other variables that resulted in a larger award. He explained parts of the law that we were not aware of at the time. Had we gone to Mr. Laufar 6 months earlier, we would have had a much larger award than obtained at the end of the case. I was the victim of identity theft. Someone forged my signature on loan documents. The identity thief stopped making payments on the loan shortly after the account was opened. The fraudulent loan accounts appeared on my credit reports. As a result, I could not refinance my home and credit limits on my existing accounts were being reduced. I sent numerous letters to the credit reporting agencies and the banks with limited success. I was ultimately forced to file a federal lawsuit to protect my rights, my credit and my good name. I was able to get the fraudulent accounts removed from my credit reports and settled my case before trial. I signed separate settlement agreements with each named defendant. The terms and amounts of each settlement agreement are confidential.
John helped me through the entire process. He also took my case on a contingency fee basis. I did not have to pay any money out-of-pocket.
John was a beacon of light in a very dark time of not knowing and I would recommend him and use him again if needed.

An identity thief stole my identity and used my name and credit to purchase a house that belonged to his ex-wife. The identity thief only made a few payments on the property and let it go into foreclosure. The foreclosure appeared on my credit report as well as a homeowners association judgment for past due HOA fees related to the property. Needless to say, my credit scores were low and obtaining credit was nearly impossible. I did not know where to turn until I was referred to John Bazaz. He then helped me dispute the foreclosure and judgment that still appeared on my credit reports.
