My husband and I put off our estate planning for a long time. We didn't know how to find someone we could trust. Thankfully, some friends of ours told us about their experience working with TJ. They felt he was an excellent attorney and had handled their affairs well. We wholeheartedly agree with their assessment!
TJ was very responsive. We initially contacted him through his website and he responded to our inquiry within hours. My husband is a pilot, and it can be difficult to schedule meetings with him. TJ worked within our time constraints and quickly rearranged when needed.
Once we were in our face to face meeting, TJ, and his assistant, Gretchen, listened well, explained thoroughly, and never made us feel inadequate or judged by some of the "off the beaten track" requests we had.
Talking about death and planning your estate can be stressful, but TJ and his staff made it easy. If you are looking for a kind, very knowledgable, no pressure attorney, my husband and I highly recommend contacting and working with Timothy J. Scott.

I cannot recommend Caroline and her office more highly. My spouse and I worked with her for both my green card application and my US Citizenship application (both successful!). From our first meeting with Caroline, we knew she was going to be able to help us. She answered all of our many questions and explained our options and next steps in clear, calm, and understandable terms. Throughout the (very complex and often changing) immigration application processes, Caroline and her office were diligent and responsive in helping us get all of our documentation together and helping us file our application. She also kept us updated on all the rapid-fire changes coming through the immigration system, made sure we understood how they could impact our case, and helped us make decisions about how to respond. I discovered Caroline Ostrom through a Google search when seeking guidance for my complex immigration situation. Her firm, Ostrom Law, expertly handled my EB1-B petition (following a previously approved one with a different employer) and managed the subsequent (me and my wife's) I-485 petitions, including EAD and Advanced Parole applications.
During this process, I encountered several complications with maintaining my H1B status, including an RFE and a limited validity notice - matters outside the scope of my contract with Ostrom Law. Despite not being involved in my H1B process, Caroline consistently offered valuable advice whenever I sought her guidance.
While the immigration system's intricacies make absolute certainty impossible, Caroline and her team's exceptional professionalism inspired complete confidence throughout the process. We had a difficult foster adoption case. He was straight forward and told me what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear. This ended up saving our family from what would have been a large financial burden. He spent a lot of time on us without ever being signed up to represent us yet. I had help filling out all my forms and they responded to all my emails and questions. I was reminded of all appts with the people I needed to meet with. Stephanie went through our two year journey (Successful) for SSDI benefits for my wife. She answered all of our questions which were many and was never discouraging keeping us informed when something was needed.

Despite their website stating they handle cases that include Economical Damages that include,
-Lost wages from missed time at work
-Loss of earning capacity
-Property damage, such as damage to your vehicle in the crash
And Non-Economic Damages that include,
-Emotional issues (stress, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, etc.)
-Humiliation
I guess, according to the representative I spoke to, that information is false. I wasnt even given a chance to speak to a lawyer despite mentioning them being listed on their website. She was just rude and repeated her statement. If you're looking for a lawyer regarding those damages, don't bother calling these guys. You'll only get frustrated.

One of my friend needed an immigration lawyer so i foolishly referred him to this law firm without due diligence lmao.
But my friend had issues in his marriage and could not continue but he already paid over $3,000 for the process. Nothing has been done yet, in fact my friend is moving to another country.
My friend now requested for a refund and now he can't even get a response from the lawyer anymore.
Such as horrible situation that i think i put my friend in. I feel terrible.
I hope my other friends will come and help me rate this law firm.

Lori is hands down the best lawyer!!! When they say taking on a certain entity is a hard fight, that didn’t stop her for taking on our case. Throughout my time running a PE firm over the past 15 years I've brushed shoulders with my fair share of lawyers. Even though most are decent, I rarely find those that are truly excellent. I'm happy to say that has been the case with Elliot, Kirsten, and Erin. My group found ourselves in a pretty sticky and complex situation, and Elliot and his team got us the very best possible outcome. They were professional, concise, and very easy to work with. They worked quickly to gather all the information surrounding our issue and understand it completely. Then they took the reins and guided the situation, but always asked for input and direction from us along the way. They were even cool enough to allow my estate attorney to participate without being at all territorial.
