Since the first time I spoke with Brandon I knew he was the right one. Even tho I still received many many calls from other lawyers I knew I already had the right choice. Didn’t disappoint it took longer than expected but I can take the blame for that because I dragged on getting him the documents he needed. But as soon as I got him everything it took him weeks to get me approved and a check to me. Very happy with Brandon. You won’t be disappointed. I am an independent contractor - commissioned sales rep - and wanted advice about choice of law and where would be the best location to file a lawsuit for unpaid commissions.
Craig helped me by analyzing my potential claim and the applicabilty of Minnesota laws to my case. Specifically, he addressed the Minnesota Termination of Sales Representatives Act and Minnesota Statutes 181.145 as it might apply to a contractor not located in or having territory including Minnesota (the company not paying commissions is located in MN). He was able to boild down a stack of paperwork to the most important details in a very short period of time.
Craig was honest, clear, puctual and truly had my best interests in mind during our meetings.
The entire staff, especially Kelly Fiege, were very helpful and supportive.
I recommend Craig for any contract or commision related dispute that a person may have.

We had the task of selling a facility with an existing air permit in Minnesota that we had constructed and intermittently run for one year. The buyer had one of the nation's largest in-house environmental teams and dedicated their team as well as prominent environmental lawyers to this asset purchase. We hired Joe to be our leader on all environmental issues because of his reputation and history of working with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. During the three month due diligence process, the issues expanded from the air permit to EPA issues and Joe led all of our negotiations with the buyer's team. My automobile was ruined due to a manufacturer's engine defect. I was connected with Chris through the legal service at my company. I spoke with Chris on several occasions to explain the specifics of my case and to find out what my options were for getting compensation from the manufacturer. In each conversation Chris was polite, well informed and explained very clearly to me what was needed from me to proceed with a legal action. Chris also made clear what outcomes I could expect if I pursued any action. As issues and milestones came up Chris always kept me informed. When I had questions Chris would respond in a timely and informative manner. When decisions needed to be made, Chris provided clear and concise options and likely outcomes, and made it plain that it was up to me as to how to proceed. However the case would have been resolved I would have felt that I was represented by an excellent advocate who was on my side. Chris was an honest, forthright partner who was an excellent communicator.

I am the general Partner of the purity Bakery Building Limited Partnership. Mr. Brendan Tupa, Attorney, was retained to assist in bringing an insurance claim to a settlement. An adjuster had failed to perform on this matter. Mr. Tupa brought legal action against the insurance company resulting in a substantial settlement. He further assisted me dealing with the non-performing insurance adjuster by modifying the fee agreement.
I subsequently retained Mr. Tupa to bring a suit against a railroad over a property issue. Two prior attorneys had begged off on pursuing litigation as a solution to this problem. I can state that within twenty four hours of Mr. Tupa’s service of a law suit, the matter was satisfactorily settled.
Subsequently Mr. Tupa’s office wrote a letter to Xcel Energy a dispute over a utility line location. Within days of this letter the problem was satisfactorily resolved.

I hired Drewes Law for a family to family, as-is real estate transaction so therefore a much more expensive realtor was not needed. I hired them based on the other great Google reviews and it was a great decision!
They explained the process in detail and answered all of my questions up front, then got going on the process while always keeping me in the loop. We were working through a family member who was Attorney-in-fact/Power of Attorney for my grandmother, which slightly complicated things in my opinion but it was never an issue for the Drewes team.
Toward the end there was an issue with the county rejecting some filings, to which Drewes Law reached out to me immediately to let me know, but also let me know they re-reviewed everything and told me they were confident there was no reason for the rejection. They called my county the next business day to which the county recognized the mistake and that it indeed should not have been rejected (mistake due to being down workers/having new workers due to Covid). The County immediately approved and I was sent the Deed a few days later. Excellent work and thoroughness by the Drewes Law Team!
David, Annie and Jonathan were fantastic to work with and I would recommend them to anyone needing Real Estate law representation.

In 2012, my husband and I were in a bad car accident that landed us in a level-1 trauma center in Minneapolis. Only a few hours after arriving I received a call from my nephew, a prominent lawyer in Philadelphia (PA), who instructed me not to speak with any lawyers until he found me "the best" in the Cities -- and he was true to his word. John Dornik came highly recommended and has certainly lived up to his reputation. Not only did John prove himself to be a deft negotiator with a masterful grasp of injury law, he is a warm and compassionate human being who never thought twice about making himself available to help us navigate the endless medical and disability forms, or to simply offer a word of encouragement or advice. It is no understatement to say that I'm not sure what we would have done without him!
And when it came to negotiating the settlement, he made sure we understood the process and that he had a clear idea of our goals. With the insurance company, he was firm and reasoned.

Sam filed a lawsuit that requested a full refund from a contractor who was supposed to fix a broken sewer line. Six months after the job was complete, I discovered another break in the line and other problems. Sam won a full refund. An attorney where I work said it is very difficult to win cases against contractors, but Sam did it!

Sam was recommended to us by a friend after my boyfriend got a confusing traffic ticket that required him to go to court. Sam was courteous right off the bat, and went out of his way to explain what everything meant and keep us informed through out the process. He was able to get my boyfriend out of the ticket completely and also was able to get the court date moved so we didn't have to deal with it the same week we were moving. The day of, my boyfriend didn't even have to set foot in the courtroom, Sam took care of everything. Afterwards, he followed up with us. Going to traffic court felt like it was going to be a total nightmare, and Sam made it as easy and comfortable an experience as possible. He was also very reasonably priced. I would recommend Sam to any of my friends or family, he is great!

I stumbled upon Mr. Michael Garner after exhausting all my options of finding a suitable attorney in Atlanta who could got me out from the evil clutches of my franchisor. I met over 100 attorneys who were willing to represent the franchisor but scared to represent a franchisee. My franchisor has changed their business model and are trying to put individual franchisees out of business or acquire them by using unfair practices. My franchisor started threatening me after being with them over 14 years to close down my business by sending the Sheriff and enforcing the non-compete. Mr. W. Michael Garner was so nice that he looked at my case for no charge and gave his honest opinion which helped me in making a decision. He taught me that business wrong is not always legally wrong. He taught me that the franchisor acts for itself and does not care what happens to the franchisee. He is so mature that he calmed me at all stages of the process where in normal course I would have gone a different direction. He helped me all the way by protecting me from making very costly mistakes which my franchisor was waiting for so that they could have the last laugh. His strategies helped us to save more than $100K and our business. Me, my wife along with our college aged daughter are indebted to him. Without his help we would have gone bankrupt and the American dream would have been shattered.

When an attorney is needed, it's almost always when there is a great deal of doubt, uncertainty, and anxiety. We were fortunate in that we were introduced to Mr. Garner.
After trying to resolve the issue with corporate headquarters on our own with no progress, we hired Mr. Garner. We immediately appreciated Mr. Garners forthright and honest assessment. He answered all questions and concerns in a manner that was professional, courteous, and friendly. His communication style allowed us to feel that he not only understood our legal and financial position, but our emotional position as well. Very empathetic to our situation.
We honestly don't have enough good things to say about Mr. Garner. He returned our phone calls and emails in a timely fashion. We never had to contact him for an update or had to ask a question twice. We feel he was very efficient with his time and fair with his billing.
After working to resolve the issue with corporate, we truly felt we were fighting an uphill battle. At best, we were hoping to see 50% of our investment back, but realistically thinking 30% was the likely outcome.
I don't have the words to explain how it felt when Mr. Garner called to let us know we were going to be receiving 100% of our investment. This was better than we had ever hoped and faster than we could have imagined.
Hopefully you will never need the services of a franchise attorney, but should you find yourself in a situation for which there appears to be no solution, don't waste any time or create more frustration and uncertainty. Contact Mr. Garner immediately. It's a decision you won't regret.

Marcus was amazing. It was embarrassing enough to be dealing with a bankruptcy, but to talk to someone that simply spoke how it was and without judgment was so lovely. Marcus evaluated the situation and gave me options essentially putting the ball in my court and he would help with whichever way I went. I am so very happy that a friend referred Mr. Unke to me. I slipped and fell on oil at one of the stores of a large chain of stores across the country. After a great time of shopping, I was pushing an overloaded cart toward the exit door. Not seeing a light colored oil streak, I went down to the floor doing the splits (not normal for me) and tore rotator cuff muscles and tendons. Mr. Unke was patient with me. The store wanted to settle and called him monthly. For almost 6 years I first went through therapy. Athletic and chiropractic to try to avoid surgery. Multiple providers. My SI joint was injured also and I was seen for pain therapy and shots. Finally unavoidable, I had rotator cuff surgery. The recovery is as bad as people describe. Now for Mr. Unke's kindness. He would tell me not to worry. That we still had time to settle. To take care of myself. He was so good at checking in on me to see how I was progressing to better health. He worked so very hard for me to get the best settlement possible. He is ethical and trustworthy. I would recommend him to my family, friends and anyone who has been hurt and needs an attorney that truly has your interest at heart. You really can relax and let him do his job and do what he knows is best. I am happy with our settlement.
