We were so happy with the services that Bob Linhares and his team provided. My husband and I went to him to get a will set up. He walked us through all of the options, explaining the pros and cons of each. Ultimately, we set up a trust to protect our children and our assets. Bob and team walked us clearly through each of the steps. He answered our questions and made the entire process so easy and worry-free.

They were professional, polite, and were focused on helping me fit my unique estate planning needs. They explained why they recommended one avenue of asset transfer over another instead of simply recommending a more expensive route, and they explained why they thought one option was better than another for achieving my personal goals. Ed handled my initial divorce, and a few years later, handled my case again when there was an attempt to modify the custody and support settlement. Through the course of three pre-trial conferences, he kept me informed and gave excellent counsel. At the end of the third conference, we attempted to make a settlement offer, which was denied. We ended up going to trial. I wasn't all that excited it went so far, though that was due to the other involved party and not Ed. When we got to court, Ed was extremely prepared. We had so much information available for the judge to review, significantly moreso than the other party. And when it came to questioning the involved parties, I felt Ed did an excellent job of getting to the point, asking the most important and relevant questions. The judge found completely in our favor, and I know that had everything to do with how well prepared Ed was, and how he presented all the information in court. I would highly recommend Ed.

Ed took over as my divorce attorney when I was not happy with my previous one. He immediately knew what had to be done. I was so confused with divorce laws, it's proceedings, the language and Ed Gilkerson was attentive and put me at ease with his ability to explain in terms for me to understand. Ed is very knowledgeable about the whole divorce process, it's laws and it's intricacies. CARTER LAW IS THE ONLY CALL YOU NEED TO MAKE! The attorneys and staff at Carter Law are all absolutely amazing! I must have contacted at least a dozen law offices before I found there's. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they were the first ones to make me feel like I was more than just a potential paycheck and they were the ONLY ones who did! I highly recommend Susan as a divorce attorney. When my divorce process was going nowhere and I had a little over a month before pre-trial, I decided to call Susan to represent me. I was nervous about firing an attorney that had already spent 10 months working on what should have been a very simple dissolution of marriage. I'm so glad I did fire my previous attorney because Susan got me to point where I was actually getting a fair settlement and we never went to trial. My company was involved in a contract dispute. A vendor was attempting to collect for a service that was sold based on false performance claims. Being a more experienced attorney, Josh was able to capitalize on a number of technical errors by the opposing counsel. One such error the counselor made was with respect to introducing a witness, effectively resulting in his dismissal. He also identified--and subsequently had thrown out by the judge--provisions in the contract which proved unenforceable in Missouri, effectively eroding their case and resulting in the case's dismissal. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

6 months ago my life changed forever due to a car accident. Rachael Kennedy is wonderful! My 98 year old mother has moved from northeast Iowa to live with my husband and I in southern Missouri. I've become her Durable Financial POA, Medical POA and Executor of her Estate, etc. I've never done this before and I had so many questions about Missouri laws and how to avoid Probate Court, etc., when Mom's time comes to go be with Jesus.
Ms Kennedy was so nice, down to earth and helpful! She answered all my questions and then asked some of her own that I did not think to ask. I learned so many things that I wil not only apply for my mother, but also for my husband and myself, inorder to make things easier and less costly for our children.
