Dnr has been accepting operating permits for concentrated animal feeding operations even when it is shown they are acting against the peoples needs to protect themselves and their environmental natural resources from potential pollution . Stephen has represented us against this giant issue and has gallantly put every best effort to protect us from this potential pollution by appealing dnr and helping create positive reform and protection against these cafos. He has true grit and fierce determination . In the appeal hearing i felt Stephen could have been the teacher of the other attorneys. He is all about respect and focused on achieving the goals we set together. I strongly recommend Stephen ! As his client I am very impressed with his abilities to bring about positive change.

Luke updated our estate planning documents and also worked with our 18 year-old son to get powers of attorney and will documents created now that he is an adult. My journey through the judicial system in Illinois was not easy. My husband was attacked and later died from the injuries. The attacker was charged and after 5 plus years of trial postponements the attacker was acquitted. I couldn't find an attorney that would represent me in the civil suit until I found Luke. Luke took the case knowing it was not a slam dunk. When Joe (the attacker) was acquitted I expected Luke to tell me there was no hope for the civil suit and walk away. Instead Luke searched the court transcripts, connected the dots from the criminal trial and negotiated a settlement for me. During the process Luke kept me informed, he explained the difficulties of the case, what I could expect and really understood how difficult this process was for me. He guided me through the process making sure I didn't settle too soon for too little. The settlement can't bring Don back, nothing can. But now my family and I have closure and we can move forward. I contacted Douglas through Avvo because I was rather tight on money, and wasn't 100% sure if I needed an attorney. After our 15 min call Biggs offered to continue to help me as much as possible. And I am extremely grateful. I was dealing with my first offense misdemeanor charge and wasn't sure how any of this was going to play out. Honesty and integrity aren't two words that you use too often with lawyers, but Doug Biggs has both qualities. He handled my legal matter with great professionalism and effectiveness. I sent him a check for his services, but he did not receive it as expected. So I dropped off a second check. A few weeks later he received the original check due to a mix up with the postal service. He could have easily deposited the check, but instead he called to inform me that he finally received the original check. He shredded the check per my request. Thank you Mr. Biggs. Dennis did a great job in getting my patent off the ground and fully approved. He knew absolutely nothing about my product when we started, but it didn't take him long to have a complete understanding and to be able to prepare my case for the examiners. I'm not funded like the Boeings and Monsantos of the world, and it was quite unusual to find that Dennis caters so well to small businesses.
Knowing what I do now, I think it is remarkable that I was able to go through the entire patent process so affordably. If I went to the large firms, hourly rates just would not have been feasible. Not only does Dennis offer a flat rate fee structure, he even offers no-cost sessions occasionally for clients so you can bounce ideas off him. I plan to take advantage of this service soon.
