I hired her to rep my daughter to help with a state child support review case, to make sure it goes through, and she tells me to "lets do it another way so that you get more fixed then just childsupport.
I didnt agree with that way but, trusted her.
Turns out after the states review was dismissed like she wanted. Within a week the other parent then filed for modifcation and child support which caused that parent to be the petitioner now.
She also helped get a case dismissed prior to that because the other parent lied and took the child for 3 weeks age 3 and there was a parental plan in place but when i said to have the other parent pay for my lawyer fees she said " I wouldnt go there if i were you. So the other parent did not make up for the damage he caused like counseling for the child and make up time.
She will not remove herself from a case even if she will not represent you properly, she will help the other parents lawyer win because she believe hear say from that lawyer.
Now my grandchild is 7 and suffers with abandement issues that are from age 3 all because she didnt help by doing her.
But through it all God is incharge for protecting his children because my daughter is in criminal justice so she can help good parents not lieing parents protect their children from abuse of the court system " TORT" even if they dont have money.
God is putting my daughter through this unjust so she will be His lawyer that has integrity and does not listen to hearsay from the other partys lawyer, and, will not make deals with other lawyers to win or lose a case. Watch out

I'd give zero stars if that was an option. This guy did virtually no work on my case. Communication skills are awful, if you even get him to respond to you. I emailed him once a week, every Friday asking for 30 seconds of his time to answer a question. Never received a response. Called him every two weeks and left a voice message asking for the same 30 seconds to answer one question. Received no response. The one time I actually got him to answer phone, he promised to send me documents to fill out and start my legal process. Then he literally disappeared. I've spoken to many attorney's since, all telling me this is highly irregular, unprofessional and disrespectful of clients. Hire him at your own peril.

Attorney Truitt is a ghost of an attorney. I hired her for a case and she neglected to show up for my court date and never reached out to communicate why she missed. She hired a third party answering service and you're not able to reach her directly. I've left several messages via email and phone and she has yet to return my calls.

This lady held a meeting at my church this Saturday, she was very, very disrespectful, telling us the members to shut up, said she was going to sue the church, if we didn’t pay her. First of all the church never hired her, was not voted on to hire her. The pastor took upon hisself to hire her, which he should be responsible for her payment. I understand lawyers are tough, but there is a difference between tough and being downright disrespectful. She also stated that we are not a congregational church, which is not true, since we are not a congregational church per her statement that means the Pastor is null and void, because the congregation voted.. She also brought up The Union in the church business, and the church is not union, what happen to the statement of separation between State and Church. She will not ever be recommended as a lawyer.

In 2005 Spencer Desai handled my Chapter 7. A previous lawyer had continually told me how complicated my case was, but when I brought it to Mr. Desai he said, "No problem, we'll take care of it." The word incompetent doesn't do him justice. He deserves negative stars. He is so careless and lazy, he could end up costing you thousands upon thousands, ON TOP of his regular billed services. He just agrees with opposing counsel without even looking things over (nevermind drawing up paperwork to support his own client). I don't know how he's still allowed to practice. In my opinion, it's malpractice. Do. Not. Hire.

If I could give zero stars… Colleen was the GAL for my granddaughter and did her a complete injustice. My granddaughters father is an alcoholic and at 6 months of age he gave my granddaughter a black eye and pulled a gun on my daughter and granddaughter. He now has 50/50 custody and cries any time she has to be alone with her father. We paid thousands of dollars for absolutely nothing. Colleen is a complete waste of an attorney and should never have any type of authority over a child.

Do not recommend…could have got the same results if not better with a public defender. John Harding is not a good lawyer. 100% do not recommend seemed like he just wanted the money with very little to no work…there wasn’t any body cam footage and little to no evidence in my personal case but he lied and said body cam footage was there…I was pushed into making a deal I could have probably avoided with another lawyer…do yourselves a favor and find another firm

When we first met Patrick, his sales pitch was great and we felt we were in good hands. At first he would get back to us without delay, but that faded fast. We had to remind him of deadlines and court dates and call/text/email to attempt to try to get things done. He said he was filing docs as necessary, but mocasenet showed otherwise. We ended up going pro-se and finishing up on our own. I'm writing this now that I have come in contact with reviews and others with similar issues with him (all are online for anyone to see). His business address is a real estate office, but his office is at his home which is misleading. Only posting this review so others do not experience what we have, please do your own research.

I hired Mr. David Waltrip to handle my case. Mr. Waltrip and his associate Nicole Hahn were helpful, knowledgeable, professional and skillful in their profession. My case was protracted, jury trial, litigation. Mr. Waltrip was compassionate, tenacious, as well as an expert in his arena. I was provided with exceptional service. The communication and attention to detail was extraordinary. I would highly recommend Dave Waltrip and his associate Nicole Hahn. I had a particularly intricate and challenging divorce case recently in which I was very satisfied with the outcome. He was my second attorney after my concerns had not been addressed properly in the beginning of the case with my first attorney. I do believe that without his representation, I would have received a poor outcome overall. Due to his tenacity and skill level, I would recommend him to anyone with a complex divorce case.

I hired David waltrop to represent me to the board of commissions against the nursing board they had given me back my license with restrictions due to an expired license
He told me to be not compliant to the restrictions while he handled it
When it was time to meet in front of the board of the commission stepped while trip was not prepared so he had to pend the court date he pended it a 120 days
During this 120 days the nursing board contacted David waltz of telling them that he was going they were going to take me to court for 9 complaints
Now I'm supposed to run around like a chicken with my head cut off and submit everything months late
When I met with the burden nursing I had no idea I was going to go against them that day we were unprepared we never reviewed and I look like an idiot he never even asked me my side so I could give my point of view
David Walter was in competent when it came to being prepared for my case he was incompetent when telling me to defy a stay order he was incappatient on preparation for the board of nursing went against my license I came out of this with the revoked license unable to practice independently And then he wanted to charge me $35000 for him to ruin my wife he is destitute of me has taken away my education my respect and my livelihood stay away from him run run

When I hired Mr. Adams to represent me it was supposed to be a rather simple case being the other parent was in jail. The other parent ended up getting out and showing up to court. Mr. Adams turned to me and said "We're toast" this is a horrible thing to ever hear from your attorney! The Judge set it over so he could have time to review the case and documents from both parties. Hearing nothing from Mr. Adams and my court hearing getting close I contacted him to see what defense or information he had prepared for court. Stating " I don't even know what this hearing is for" was the response I got. At court the Judge had read all of the false accusations and statements turned in by the other parents attorney and ripped my life apart. Why did I think anything good was going to happen when Mr. Adams never even turned in any kind of defense on my behalf nor did he object to anything that was provably incorrect. To make matters worse evidence left on Mr. Adams voicemail at his work was never even brought up when it would have probably won my case! As an attorney their job is to defend you and fight for your right but family law is more then that. Family Law attorneys are the difference between you seeing your child grow up and because of Mr. Adams I am missing parts of my child's life I can never get back! Making matters worse my child is in an abusive situation that my lawyer could have shown to the Judge, but he didn't and my child to this day is still being abused. As a parent it is your job to protect your child and do whats best for them regardless of what it takes. How could I have known that a wrong choice in an attorney is something that would be such a life shattering experience! The fact that I cry every day and that my child is being abused doesn't seem to matter one bit to Mr. Adams because I've not heard from him. After court he kept saying "I'm sick to my stomach about it" but just as he did nothing in that court room he has done nothing about it since. I have lost the only thing that matters to me in life and cant begin to explain the pain and heartache I live with. All I want to do is maybe prevent anyone else from having to experience it by selecting Mike Adams as their attorney.

Being busy is a good thing, and this is a common theme in this area since attorneys can represent two states and multiple practices. When I review, I always review based upon my overall experiences with professionals in the same industry. The very best was an attorney who was an angel and just wanted to help me resolve an issue, and never asked for money.
Sadly, the brief consults I had with Dione, left me wanting more attention to if there was an opportunity to help me. We talked approximately 5 or 10 minutes. He wanted to speak to my witnesses, and I was open to it, but only after we agreed that he was the right attorney to represent me.
When he called, he was rushed and got to the point. He didn’t have time to discuss my case. When I was reluctant to give witnesses, because we didn’t have a full conversation, and also no type of agreement; he wanted to refer me to others. Somehow the communication channels opened again, and he was open to consulting with me for a certain cost; then that amount increased when I explained the topics I wanted to cover.
According to his website, he seems to have the experience and background that I wanted. However, we just never got to really talk, because he is busy.
The process he took with me:
1. He emailed me an intake form,
2. I believe I did a follow-up call with him, and he was busy. He called me back to ask a few questions from the form. I think he will be good at interrogation, because I felt interrogated a little bit.
3. I think the dealbreaker happened when I wasn’t okay with giving a witness list.
4. I reached out to him with a comment about us not having a hero to help us when we need it, unlike the majority.
5. We opened up the communication channels again, so that shows that he does have some type of heart.
My recommendation to you, if you are looking for help:
1. Decide what is important to you in an attorney. What you will or won’t accept.
2. Understand that attorneys in this area seem to be very busy.
3. Have a good game plan for what you will do if you don’t find someone.
4. If you are indigent and need legal help, and your case is at a certain limit (I believe $4,000 or so), possibly check with the free legal service in your area.
5. If you go at this alone, make sure you do a lot of research of what this entails. I can tell you that suing in small claims court is a lot different than suing in state or federal courts. There are so many strategies (also known as defenses) that your defendant or their attorney can use. So it’s less about the truth, facts, witnesses, etc. , it’s more about strategy (in my opinion).
Since Dione was a litigator, I think he will be good with strategy. So if he has time to help you, it may be worth giving him a shot. It’s up to you.
I personally want someone to be as passionate about my case, as I am, and of course, have the time to consult with me.
Dione knows his limits, and he is very straightforward. He will tell you.
This rating is based upon my experience, and the experience I have had with other attorneys. I can imagine this rating going much higher, if Dione had the time to consult. The plus, is that you get to talk to him, versus someone else who is handling the intake.

My sister and I consulted him about some family issues we were having with another sibling concerning the POA over my parents. He gave us several options we could try before getting the courts involved which we wanted to avoid in the first place. Going to try those options and hopefully get this resolved peacefully. He didn't charge us for his advice which was a very kind gesture. He seemed to be genuine about his concern for our elderly.

Father is the legal guardian of his brother and is mentally retarded with various serious handicaps. Some of his brothers government aid was cancelled and my father hired this lawyer to represent him in fighting for reinstatement. Very costly venture in what was assumed as a failed attempt. I say assumed, because it's over and my father doesn't know if he won or lost. My uncle is very disabled and reinstatement should be a no brainer. This isn't even debatable, to any authority with the ability to reinstatw. If you can't win this one, I don't know what you can win. So, with that, make your own decision.

I used this attorney for a DWI an she did little to nothing. Her approach for my defense was to get into a battle of the sexes against a long standing prosecuting attorney. She failed to present any evidence for my jury trial, even doctors documentation stating I had a concussion from my ER visit, hospital photos, and etc. I would never use this attorney for ANY legal representation!

I hired Arthur Margulis because the state brought charges against me. I have to say I was not totally innocent but the corruption by St Louis County police investigators to manufacture evidence and willingness to lie, as well as assualt me, damaged their own case. Mr Margulis did an excellent job demonstrating to the jury STLCPD duplicity. Acquittal is one of greatest words in English, & I have stayed out of trouble since. The financial burden of the trial and the personal stress on me & my family are something I would not wish on anyone. I suspect the abuse by STLCPD is seldom challenged in court, or by the press.

Hire Mr. Margolis and his son William to defend me on Federal Bank Fraud indictment. Although he promised to fully defend me. After he was paid full retainer of $150,000 ( $50,000 of it if the case went to trial ) he told me I had to accept a plea deal and he refused to refund the "for trial portion". He failed to provide any defense and did not object to anything at sentencing. nor did he offer any substantive evidence or argument on my behalf.
Only upon my insistence, he submitted an objection to pre-sentence report inaccuracies and violations of sentencing guidelines. He subsequently withdrew the objections, " because the it made the US Attorney upset". Due to this lack of adequate representation my sentencing and restitution were grossly inflated.

13 years in real estate and Michael tops them all as the WORST attorney I have ever encountered. Not only did I waste over $5,000 but he couldn’t even get me legally the eviction .
Not only could he not get me the eviction but he also told me it would be wise for me not to prosecute the tenants I had to evict that owe me over $16,000
If he did was going to try the case he was going to charge ANOTHER TENS IF THOUSANDS OF MORE DOLLARS
