I just went through personal hardship, and called 4 attorneys before a friend told me how wonderful her experience was with attorney Archer.
All lawyers wanted more money than I could afford to help me with a few personal items and contracts.
Attorney Archer spent the time with me to explain everything I needed to know and helped me with a rate that was more than reasonable and about 1/4 of what other firms were quoting.
She is a very good person, extremely knowledgable and someone I would recommend to close family.

I contacted Ms Freitas for a land contract, I have done several real estate transactions in the past, but this contract as so seller biased I had never seen anything like it. Ms Freitas reviewed the contract pointed out a lot of very detailed concerns. I was on a very tight deadline she reviewed and had it back in 48 hours on a holiday weekend no less. Will definitely use again.

In August I found out a lawsuit has been filed against me. It was in regards to a very emotional and sensitive matter, plus having never been sued before I was nervous. I got recommendations from lawyer and court employee friends, and looked up lawyers on Google. I called 12-15 law offices in the area but ultimately decided to put my trust in Mr Chris Turner at CRT Legal. His office staff was friendly, personable, and professional right from the start. Mr Turner then took the time to speak to me in depth about the case on our first phone call. I knew I needed a lawyer who is smart, organized, and can fight. Mr Turner is that. I felt like he's old enough in his career to know what he's doing extremely well, but young enough in his career to enjoy the fight. Exactly what a good lawyer should be. He hasn't disappointed. He's professional, incredibly smart, and great at what he does. Glad I made the choice to have him fight my battle for me. I am writting this review to perhaps help someone who plans to hire Ms. Jimenez.
I am writing to alert people regarding the lack of representation and communication from Attorney Alisha Jimenez during a critical time for my wife and me.
Prior to the holidays, we had a conversation with AttorneyJimenez in which she assured us that she would prepare a journal for our upcoming pretrial. Unfortunately, this preparation was never completed. Despite my numerous attempts to reach out to her through various channels—including the messaging portal, email, and office phone—my messages went unanswered.
As a result of this lack of communication, my wife and I found ourselves unprepared and without guidance during the court pretrial, as Attorney Jimenez did not attend or call in to support us. This situation has caused us significant stress and concern, and we find it unacceptable for a client to be left without representation in such an important matter.

I consulted with Ms. Jimenez after being served with foreclosure papers on a property I was renting from a person who turned out NOT to be the real owner. For lack of a better term, she talked a good game. She seemed tenacious and knowledgeable. She mentioned all types of possibilities (for instance, being paid by the mortgage company to turn over the keys). She was proactive in contacting the foreclosing attorney and immediately told me to stop paying rent. She even wrote a letter to the "landlord" to that effect.
As our case made its way through the system Ms. Jimenez became more difficult to reach via phone or her client portal. Finally, a few days before our court date, which we were aware was going to be a telephonic appearance, I contacted her to find out if there was anything I needed to take to court. She did reply, and I thought I was set.
On the morning of the hearing, she called to inform me that she had not pre-registered to call in to the court and asked that I request the judge call her. I had NEVER been before a judge before so was already super nervous. Fortunately, the judge did call, but the bulldog that I had dealt with for the previous 4 months turned into a sheep. Even though the "landlord," who had never presented a lease agreement between herself and the real owner when Ms. Jimenez had requested it suddenly presented a doctored notarized document (the judge asked why there was white out), Ms. Jimenez said nothing. So I did, and the judge said the validity of the document was irrelevant to the case. Ms. Jimenez again remained silent. That was a bad time for an A-ha moment, but it was just that.
Following the hearing, which was granted to the plaintiff, Ms. Jimenez began negotiating. About 3-4 days into the negotiation, she declared that the plaintiff was insane (I was inclined to agree) and that she felt like she was working for the plaintiff not me (I again was inclined to agree) because of how much time she was spending communicating with the plaintiff.
Then, poof! She basically walked away and stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. In a final effort to fully understand what was happening from a legal standpoint and to determine my next steps, I pleaded with her via email to reply. She responded in a stern email that was not characteristic of previous communications that the matter was closed and that negotiations had failed.
So, ergo, the title of this review, "Disappointed." I went with a solo practice because I thought I'd get more personalized service, but this is what I got for the money I paid on time, I might add (more than $1K, less than $2K). She completely checked out, and that's just not principled business. Hope this review helps.

Alisha is extremely professional and knows her field. She returns calls as soon as possible and likewise with emails. The first things I learned is that Alisha is a good listener which for me is important so she can meet my needs and concerns. Mary is the best attorney I have ever worked with! She helped me win a very difficult case involving discrimination and unlawful termination.
From the moment we first met, she explained my options and the process and clearly addressed the fees involved. Everything proved to be true which was concerning because she had to fly out of state for depositions.
During the depositions, she was very well prepared, strategic and methodical. She knew what type of questions to ask and how to lead the interrogation. Mary also knew the documentation inside and out which consisted of over a thousand pages and was able to pull the right document at the right time during the proceedings.
Best of all, Mary successfully negotiated a settlement without going to court. Mary did an outstanding job. She kept me informed, made good recommendations and gave me the support I needed during one of the darkest periods of my life. She was fair, experienced, committed and focused and I will definitely hire her in the future.

My wife spoke with Jd. Strong today during a 30-minute consultation. He was excellent! He listened to her concerns and immediately provided her with resources to address them independently. Jd. Strong mentioned receiving 14 calls this week on the same issue from other folks. I highly recommend Jd. Strong; he is transparent, ethical, and knowledgeable. I was involved in a case as a defendant where Ms. Conlin and a 3 time sue happy client of hers (James Brent Cox) filed a bogus lawsuit against me wherein they harassed me for seven years, forcing me to retire and close my business due to the inability to afford any further legal defense. Soon thereafter they included my wife in the lawsuit, forcing her to waste most of her inheritance from her father to defend herself because she was an officer in my corporation. After a seven year battle, thousands of dollars later, any potential divorce, my wife, and I finally conceded to the fact that Miss Conlin was not going to give up
Until she milked us and Mr. Cox for everything that she could get. In my opinion, Ms. Conlin is a disgrace to the legal profession due to her actions and her leadership of Mr. Cox through the whole ordeal. It is truly a sad day win a supposed legal professional sells their integrity for the Almighty dollar!

It’s incredible to read the other review that had a negative experience with his law firm Because it sounds just like my story. Lack of action, the feeling like you are begging or asking for something rather than paying for service. The lack of thorough explanation about the legal process and the simplicity of time your actual consequences seems to be a trademark of this lawyer. I am now confused because I don’t know if he was working for the DA office or if he was there to represent me and fight for my innocence because looking back, there was always a deal on the table, There was always an option of simplicity, as if he didn’t want to be bothered with this issue. I completely understand the result of those actions because a simple search and reading of the legal system lead me to understand the consequences of his lack of action, a convicted felon, taking the time to explain or looking into other options rather than a quick deal that he prosecutor to get out of the way. I’m not here to ask for anything from the justice system or from this man I’m here to prevent you from making a mistake if you’re reading this for an actual lawyer says if you feel like your second home then go ahead and hire him
