I called to make my $200 consultation, prior to booking I advised my county and court date and confirmed availability, before I paid. I was assured there was no conflictions so I proceeded. Not even a full 30 minutes in to my hour consultation Alana told me that she did not have the time and was already booked for my court date. I advised her of the above and she simply said, "it must have been an oversight but I'll send you an email with some names". Which I did not receive until I sent an email reminder, to ensure I at least got something out of it. The referrals were no good.

I highly endorse Marlene since she handled my divorce last year. If you’re looking for a high-priced lawyer with a big staff and fancy office, she’s not for you. However, if you’re looking for someone humble, caring, and compassionate yet realistic and honest (she’ll be straight with you and tell you when and why something isn’t worth your/her time (her time = your money)), someone who sees the big picture (she considers the present and the future, and as an atty and CPA, she factors in legal, financial, and tax implications), and someone who communicates with you quickly and often and is reasonably priced, then Marlene is right for you. I keep in touch with Marlene and consider her a friend, and I believe that may be the strongest endorsement a client can have for an attorney.

Marelene represented me very well. She handled my divorce case and kept me from loosing my home which I was going to just give up. I have used Mr. Ellis many times over the last few years. This man has not only made me money. He as advised me from making poor legal chooses. He has advised me from taking legal action due to the cost. In saying this- he is very trustworthy and honest. I only wish I had a member of my staff half as bright as Mr. Ellis.

Mr. Ellis was referred by another attorney who told me that Mr. Ellis could handle my car wreck. I had 3 attorneys on this case who never helped me and would not return my calls. Those attorneys dropped my case and I found Mr. Ellis with only three days left to file the case. Mr. Ellis filed the case, contacted me whenever something was going on and even set up a mediation. I went to his office before the mediation and he told me about the process and we decided on a strategy. At the mediation he was awesome and got my case settled for more than we planned. Without Mr. Ellis my case would have been dropped but because of him I am able to move on with my life in a better position. If you a reading this wondering whether to use Mr. Ellis, do it!

My assigned attorney was Mr. Jon Byron Ellis. This isn’t an attack on him personally – it’s only focused on his performance or lack thereof during my case. It appears he has since moved on from the Baez Law Firm following the event.
As a paying client, Mr. Ellis was ill prepared for my mediation and was asking basic questions regarding my case minutes prior to negotiation. When the mediator left to speak with opposing counsel, Mr. Ellis began asking about the documents I had sent him well in advance. It was the first time he reviewed each document in detail. He was not prepared for the mediation and it was evident by the outcome. He was unable to defend or apply the law when the time arrived. For example, the mediator and opposing counsel used tactics that attacked my military retirement. Mr. Ellis was unaware of the law and specifics on how it would apply to me with only 11 years of service. I had to make him call an associate to determine what the law states regarding my situation. He also failed to bring appropriate documents to the meeting. I had to email him the product again right before the meeting. This is unacceptable and showed how ill prepared he was for my case. This was a common theme during my representation.
I lost out on thousands of dollars in items because Mr. Ellis failed to send me the wrong list of requested items from opposing counsel for my telephonic mediation. I had to ask numerous times for the list prior to mediation. I attempted numerous follow up calls and emails. Mr. Ellis did not return any of my calls following my mediation until I stated my intent to file a grievance with the State Bar of Texas. He called almost immediately thereafter.
When both Mr. Ellis and I discovered the egregious error by sending me the wrong list of items, Mr. Ellis gave me the option of not signing the agreement we developed using the wrong list or spending thousands of dollars in court/attorney fees trying to repair the error. Moreover, Mr. Ellis was hurried due to a Real Estate appointment he had to get to. I was extremely disappointed and was pressured to make a quick decision based on his appointment and the possibility of facing additional fees if I did not concur with the list.
Following my mediation I was sent on temporary duty outside the US. When I returned from a short military operation overseas (5-day operation), I received an email stating I had a balance. Mr. Ellis; office threatened to notify my supervisor of my delinquent account after a few days of being notified. I was overseas with no communication and was told they made ‘numerous’ attempts to contact me (I had 1 email and 1 phone call). The Baez Law Firm called my work center asking for me after a couple of days of their initial email/phone call. Prior to hiring the Mr. Ellis, I asked that this be handled as a civil matter and specifically asked for him not to contact my work center. For that reason I was shocked when they strongly mentioned the intent to call my leadership...which they eventually they did anyway.
The poor rating is a direct reflection of Mr. Ellis’ performance.

Wow, if I could give Mr. Mayfield 100 stars I would. He exceeded my expectations walked me through this delicate path to win primary custody of my son. He was always answered my emails for questions I had in a timely manner. He was always caring and knowledgeable in his answers. He’s no push over to whoever you’re against! He will stand up for you. He’s very Intelligent intelligent. He studies his cases and knows what to put in front of a judge for your favor. He has great and fair prices unlike other lawyers (that will tell you everything you want to hear take your money and treat you like you don’t exist) Mr. mayfield is the opposite!! You are a valued client to him! And He treats your case sensitive. I wish I had more words to describe my experience. There was no down part in hiring him. He did NOT disappoint me in any way. I first contacted Ms. Diaz when an ex employer was defaming me. Monique was brutally honest with me, advising it would be unlikely I would get awarded damages but we could get them to stop, which she did! I was so impressed, that when I had a family issue, I contacted Monique expecting her to advise me to someone in family law, but she quickly addressed that issue too. In fact, that’s what Ms. Diaz does best, quickly resolving the issue, so her clients don’t get billed needlessly. I can’t speak enough about her, and appreciate all the legal support she’s provided me over the past 2 years.

If you want fairness justice, abd somebody who will actually fight for you. Hire her she will not let you lie you cannot make up lies. You cannot be vindictive. She will help you down to the bottom. Another lawyer practically stole my money and I ended up with L Gavito. At first I thought she was rude with how short she kept phone calls and I was getting and thinking my case is just another pile for her. Nope she called me out nowhere to me to go get my kids for the spring break.
She will work on your case even when you think she is not. LET HER COOK as they say.
I’m 3 Months into my custody against a spiteful person. I wish I hired Gavito from the start.

Mr. Stolmeier was suppose to be representing me in an accident. A family rear ended me and they took my case for over a year then just dropped my case without any clarity. The person hit me in the rear was charged with a DUI. I feel Like misrepresented because of being from another state.

My ex husband lost his job b/c he was being an idiot at work and wanted to reduce his child support. In court he said he was laid off, but Patrick got him to admit that he wasn't laid off but was fired. The judge ruled in my favor and basically said he wouldn't cut my child support because me ex was an idiot. Patrick said it actually happens more often than I'd think.

At first the insurance company wasn't going to pay me because the person who hit me lied to the cops and that was in the police report and there were no witnesses. I didn't know what to do, and a friend recommended Mr. Stolmeier. When he took the deposition of the other guy, he caught him in a lie and the insurance company finally decided to pay 10 times more than what I originally asked them for.

Went to Royal Lea with a Real Estate Fraud case that I had done almost all of the evidence gathering. He even told me it was as close to a 'slam dunk' as it gets. He completely dropped the ball during mediation after talking privately with the other attorney and wanted me to take an agreed judgement (which took me 15 YEARS TO COLLECT). l fired him immediately and took on the collection of the judgment myself. By the time I actually collected the judgment, it wasn't even enough to cover the cost of repairing the building which the case was originally based on.
FIND A DIFFERENT ATTORNEY IF YOU REALLY WANT SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THEIR STUFF.

Royal Lea is in my opinion the best attorney in the country. My cases lasted approximately 18 months and I have never seen a more competent, professional, prepared attorney. As a result of his expertise, both of my cases settled with an outcome that was beyond our expectations. We would all prefer to avoid legal circumstances in general, that being said, situations arise and when they do the attorney is absolutely the key to being successful. I would recommend Mr. Lea to anyone requirng legal advice/service and I would certainly use him again should I ever require legal assistance.

Rob Bondurant successfully followed through on a case that dragged on for several years because my opponent was a thoroughly dishonorable person. My opponent was evidently acquainted enough with the legal system to drag the case out as long as possible, hoping I would give up. but Rob patiently worked with me to resolve it. Evidently, hoping to prevail via illogical and nefarious means, my opponent went through several attorneys. I only had one.

Rob could have taken care of my case in 6 months, but he dragged it out for years. The solution for one motion to resolve things took him several years to come up with. I am not sure if he is inexperienced or if he was trying to drag things out to make more money. Any way you slice it, it was not a good experience overall.

Mr Bondurant did a great job with my divorce. He picked up where my previous lawyer had left me hanging. My case was about to be dismissed and he stepped in got an extension and then finalized the divorce within a month. He kept me informed of each step of the process. His final bill was itemized and quite fair for the quality of his service. I would highly recommend Mr Bondurant to anyone needing legal representation in a civil case.

At best, a weak and incompetent attorney. From my conversations with three other attorneys, possibly corrupt, and from a conversation with an attorney from the firm that delegated my case over to Carl Brock, he, at a minimum, mishandled my case. For a competent attorney it would have been an open and shut case. Carl Brock "lost it", or as suggested to me, worse.
I ended up losing everything "courtesy" of Carl Brock's handling my case.
And he had the audacity to blame the jury.
PATHETIC lawyer.

Bryan Crone was an absolute professional. For over a year I went back and forth on if I wanted to pull the trigger on divorce or not. Bryan never pressured me one way or the other and was more than patient with me. It felt like he genuinely had my best interest at heart. Ultimately when I decided to proceed with the divorce, he made the process easy and explained things in a way that was easily understood every step of the way. I would not wish divorce on anyone, but if that situation ever occurs, I would absolutely recommend Bryan Crone.

Steven Redgate and his "team" are a joke. I hired him about 5 years ago to obtain my permanet residence and it was a disater at the end. When I first met with Mr. Redgate he promised me that would go to all hearings and when it came down to going he didn't know There was one scheduled and on top of that he wanted to charge me extra for going. He stated in the beginning that my fee would cover all that but it didn't. I ended up going to the meeting by myself but luckly for me I becaom a permanet resident.Thanks for nothing Mr. Redgate.

I have seen the other reviews and I do not understand how people would say those things. Mr. Redgate handled my immigration case and told me that it would be difficult from the very beginning. He told me my options and explained everything that he could do. He also told me to talk to other lawyers so that I would be sure that I was comfortable dealing with whoever took my case. I took his advice and did speak to other lawyers but after listening to them decided to go with Mr. Redgate. The case took a long time to complete and we had to go to several hearings, but we were successful!

I met this attorney and what she told me was that she does not take a case that she cannot win. The beginning was fine, there was active communication, then radio silence. I sent numerous emails and made several phone calls. The administrative assistant said she couldn't track her down, was unavailable, was out of the office etc (that's how many times I'd called). I asked to speak with another member of the team, and did not receive a phone call or e-mail back from them either. She even set up appointments that she missed. I have paid this attorney a few thousand dollars and NOTHING! If you would like an attorney that will call you back, please do not have her represent you. I definitely suggest do your research before hiring any attorney. Especially this one!

I was referred to Mr. Garza to represent me. We spoke several times, and he agreed to represent me. He was going to send me the representation agreement that day, or the next day. No agreement arrived. There were several more phone calls, several more promises of a forthcoming representation agreement. I hired Eric to file a patent. I had a provisional patent with a filing date of 10-10-17. He needed to file for the patent by 10-10-18 or I would lose my filing date. I paid him on 7-30-18. Eric NEVER filed for the patent and was never intending to.
I’ve been trying to contact Eric repeatedly by Phone, Email and Text. But he continues to ignore me. I officially ask for a refund but he still continues to ignore me.

I have been court appointed this attorney and he won't call me at all he knows absolutely nothing about me. He is a contracts attorney. I have had him as an attorney for two months now and I have not received a call from him at all. He is very unprofessional. He doesn't consult with me before I have a court hearing to see what I want him to tell the judge.

This "Law Firm" is a joke. I paid over $2500 for what essentially amounted to one in office visit with CPS. We were quoted $2000 to handle a BOGUS CPS case. Paid in FULL and Mr Garza (Andrew) calls and tells us Mr Garza is with drawing from our case. We still have CPS in our lives (now more than ever because we do not have the protection of a attorney. They have threatened to take my daughter away and caused all kinds of stress in my life. We met with Mr Garza only one time. His paralegal Andrew did all the "work" on the case and billed us $100 a hour. Mr Garza never had me or my family in mind. All they were concerned with is how much money they could squeeze out of you. Called literally every day demanding more money. They missed filings on Court Proceedings that would have got CPS shut down, had numerous typos on signed Affidavits, didn't know who needed to sign the affidavits, didn't put in any evidence from our side, asked us to provide things for him and our evidence and then never used them. I could go on and on. I have worked in the legal field for a very long time and I have NEVER seen unprofessional, incompetent people in my life. Andrew is literally one of the most incompetent man I have ever met. All he would do is upset my wife and tell her how we should be prepared to lose. It was a BS slam door case. When I told him I wanted him to go in there and SHUT THIS DOWN ONCE AND FOR ALL, Andrew told me i would have to pay around $6,000 for Mr Garza to "take the gloves off" Like.... what?? He is total garbage and you are better off going ProSe in your case than ever letting these baboons even look at your case
