A little over a year ago my elder parents faced a very difficult situation, the attorney in which they had hired on 10/2021 never filed their case nor bothered to obtain required documentation during the 7 months. I would like to mention that the living situation was very stressful for my parents as they were in desperate need for legal assistance for their home. Due to the lack of response and horrible experience that was witnessed with said attorney we were in desperate need of a miracle.

Being detained and taken into custody is an extremely traumatic experience. It's during those times that you need an experienced legal team to be by your side in court. For myself it came in the form of a 3 AM stop where I was soon sitting in a patrol car waiting to be transported to the magistrates; by the time I was allowed access to a phone there were only 2 numbers to call: my family to tell them I won't be home for supper and The Locke Law Group. Being tightly shackled in county lock up, surrounded by 80 other detainees is trying and exhausting; but even after a full 24-hour-no-sleep-detention, I knew the long day wouldn't be over until I spoke with Shannon on the phone. I contacted lang lawfirm based on thier website stating "We often represent the underrepresented: average people and small businesses that have been injured by large corporations and insurance companies."
Their paralegal, Renee, stated that the firm was too busy and referred me to a couple other firms.
Those didn't work out so I went back to see if the firm would change it's mind or it's case load had opened up.
From there it went south.
I explained my situation again to Renee and, again, she shut me down. After multiple exchanges i managed to get a concession of offering a phone call for a full price consult. I found her to be very disrespectful, rude, and insensitive to my situation. Yeah.... Not acceptable.
Thinking it was just a bad interaction, and being a resourceful type of person, I was able to get past Renee and establish comms with Mr. Lang.
Unfortunately it seemed to me that he had much the same attitude and he also refused to meet with me.
All I wanted was a face to face consult and I was offering to pay. Nothing wild or out of the ordinary, however no one from the firm could be bothered to meet with me.
I am not sure how law practice is done in San Antonio but I do know this goes against all the customer service tennants i have ever been taught.
Represent under represented and average people? Hah, yeah right...
This firm is definitely not for me.

Brian Walters expertly guided me through a multi-year custody case that was only resolved after a week-long jury trial was held. At trial, Brian was uniquely able to convey empathy towards the other parent while still delivering the hard facts of the case. I believe this resonated with the jury as they were being asked to make a decision that reflected the best interests of the child and not the best interests of either parent. In my personal case, and I suspect in most custody cases, it is easy to demonize the other parent for what they did to you and how their actions are continuing to hurt your parent-child relationship.
