Frank was a pleasure to work with. Ron Rossi is one of the best real estate and trial attorneys in the business. His experience, knowledge and character are hard to match. He’s an excellent spokesman with a strong presence and is well prepared and organized in the courtroom. During the course of a complicated $2M+ development project in the Town of Los Gatos, I retained the services of attorney Rick Gullen from the law offices of Rossi, Hamerslough, Reischl & Chuck in response to neighboring property owner’s lawsuits objecting to the project, as well as a breach of contract. Additionally, despite the project being permitted, there was increasing obstruction by City administration in response to these lawsuits that required Rick and his firm to intervene. The scope and breadth of the litigation required the involvement of California Fish and Wildlife, US Army Corp of Engineers, California Water Board, Air Quality Management District, County of Santa Clara, Town of Los Gatos Town Attorney, as well as surveyors, engineers, arborists, and hydrologists.
In addition to his years of personal, in-depth real estate law knowledge and litigation experience, and a large firm behind him specializing in complicated real estate matters, Rick brought to the table personal connections with experts ranging from former city Planners, structural and geotechnical engineers, aerial photography firms, surveyors, specialized insurance attorneys, property title experts, traffic engineers, etc.
The litigations spanned issues including easements, access right of ways, public vs private roadway right of ways, lot line disputes stemming from titles and maps from the 1800’s, and he also successfully won an arbitration award for liquidated damages, arguing against a complex claim of unmarketable title due to appurtenant easements and junior vs senior deeds of trust.

On a quiet Sunday afternoon about six months ago, I was served with a civil complaint contesting the ownership of one of my residential rental properties in San Jose. I was concurrently noticed of an “ex parte” hearing scheduled for 8:30 am the following Tuesday morning at which time the allegedly aggrieved Plaintiff would seek a court order to immediately place my property into receivership and begin collecting all of the rents etc. I literally had only hours to formally rebuke this craven, contumelious assault and to affirm my ownership position in this property!
I contacted RHRC early Monday morning and found the firm’s initial response professional and sympathetic to the absolute urgency of my plight. Rick Gullen quickly agreed to re-arrange his calendar and meet with me that afternoon to review the complaint and formulate an appropriate response. By the start of our meeting, there were less than eighteen hours before the “ex parte” hearing scheduled for the next morning! Rick, his assistant, and I worked diligently for the remainder of that afternoon and evening to prepare our formal response. We were ultimately successful in this endeavor and the Judge denied all elements of the receivership motion. In the ensuing weeks and months, the complaint response and a counter suit were filed and the discovery process was initiated. Recently, this case was resolved through mediation with an executed settlement agreement very much to my benefit.
As a successful entrepreneur and retired tech executive, I have had considerable experience dealing with dozens of attorneys during the past several decades. I have retained or otherwise engaged attorneys on three continents who specialized in litigation, corporate law, contract law, employment law, family law, patent law, intellectual property law, and international law. All of these attorneys were competent in their respective fields – some were even exceptional. Never however, had I prevailed upon any of my counsel to respond to an issue with such immediacy as I did with Rick. He willingly rose to the challenge as my advocate and successfully countered the opposition at every turn.
For the duration of this case, Rick consistently demonstrated his broad knowledge of the law and his experience in resolving real estate ownership conflicts. His recommendations regarding the strategies and tactics most likely to successfully engage the opposition were very insightful. Rick’s sage advice on the legal options available not only to me as the Defendant, but equally important, the various options likely to be pursued by the Plaintiff, were particularly significant in my management of this case. I hired James Cai (or Jingming Cai) as my attorney for a case. It was a disaster!
He has, at least, the following issues:
1. Concealed important information. He hid the information for earning your money;
2. Not professional at all. Delaying your case without notifying you;
3. You would get a HUGE bill, some of the items was not caused by you at all;
I have FILED a lawsuit against him and SAC Attorneys LLP.
NEVER use him!

It was a pleasure working with Cameron. Before hiring him, I called around to 10 different attorneys and got the run around. Most didn't answer their phone or have time to talk with me since it was a Friday afternoon, others told me "Please bring in a $5,000 retainer and then we'll talk." I worked with Andrew on a case for a good 18 months. After working with him for extended period of time, I have a very clear idea about Andrew and here is a summary of what I found:
1) Extremely strong lawyer: his work including is simply unbelievable; to say the least. He is very knowledgably about everything has to do with law and legal matters. He never failed to impress me every time he drafts some paperwork and never failed to impress me on phone calls. The advice you get from Andrew are extremely valuable.
2) Very honest person: Andrew’s is extremely honest and he never ever tried to do work (like many other lawyers) that has little value to me even though he could benefit from it. He was always putting my interests before his interests, and this happened in dozens of scenarios.
3) Unbelievable writing skills: it is well-known that lawyers’ writings and choice of words are excellent, but Andrew is at a different level. I was employed for many companies in the last 10 years and I worked with many lawyers on various contracts. Andrew is way better than anyone I worked with by a massive margin.
4) Hardworking: he is always available, and always respond within a very short period of time. He replies to emails after hours, and even after midnight.
5) Very nice person: I met Andrew couple of times in person and I had a great time with him. This is a person you would live to spend time with, and you would definitely like to work with him on anything.
6) Very smart: he is very intelligent, and has a wide understanding of modern technologies. I have met lawyers that you need to explain to them terms from my industry. In Andrew’s case, he was so aware of our industry thoroughly and we did not need to spend time to educate him on anything. Furthermore, he has deep analytical skills that came handy in many situations. It is critical to work with a highly intelligent lawyer, and Andrew has that in him. It would have been so counterproductive to spend time explaining every detail to him, he knew everything.
I highly recommend working with Andrew, he is unbelievable lawyer. I think I was very lucky to work with him, and I recommend anyone to hire Andrew. He has it all given my experience.

It all started back in December 2013 when I filed a Provisional Patent. I worked on the project and planned to file a Utility Patent before the Provisional Patent expired in December 2014. Due to the complexity and amount of work needed to file a Utility Patent and no prior experience, I started to look for someone who could help me complete the filing process. The cost of filing patent is generally very high for an individual inventor.
I read an article in San Jose Mercury news describing Lincoln Law School of San Jose that helps out people like me. I immediately contacted them and they accepted helping me out. I was in touch with an outstanding individual, Mr. Britten Sessions who undertook the responsibility of filing a Utility Patent on my behalf. The deadline for filing was almost on us and I had serious doubts if things could be done in a couple of weeks time. I was expecting that my Provisional Patent will expire and I shall have a new filing date with the Utility Patent.
To my surprise, Britten Session and his team pulled off the filing ON TIME, including digitally redrawing all my diagrams! Since then I have been in constant contact with Britten Sessions as the patent process has been progressing. The application got allowance in mid 2015, and a continuation of claims. The paperwork for both allowance and continuation of claims was done shortly afterwards. Now I am waiting for the final outcome!

Summer was instrumental in the purchase of a small CA Card Room in 2010. There were both local and government agencies (CA DOJ, CA Gaming Commission, City Counsel, ABC, Local Police Department, City Planning, etc) to work with to ensure a smooth transition for the purchase of the highly governed industry. The Purchase Contracts Summer put in place added extra protection from a seller that was not 100% forthcoming in financial obligations associated with the business. Although Summer was not initially up to speed on all the rules and regulations associated with CA Gaming Laws and purchasing and existing license, she was an expert in no time. With the help of Summer, we were approved in record time and our new business was up and running within 10 months (in a standard 18 month approval process).

I met Attorney Tran to do my living trust. I was a bit nervous because I have never been to a law office before, but Attorney Tran turned out to be super friendly; down to earth, and knows the law very well. He bought up issues I never thought could be possible.

We feel so grateful and lucky to find Justine Lescoart to help us on a dispute, which eventually developed into a legal suit against us with a contractor, who's very difficult and unreasonable to deal with. There are a lot of interactions between us and the contractor before we brought Justine on board and the issue was tricky. Damian has represented me on 2 very different cases. I find his writing to be superb, and since he used to have a law appearance business, he knows everyone down at the courthouse. Consequently, he often has a good feel for how a judge is going to decide on a particular motion.
One of my cases was a fairly routine car accident case (this was before he streamlined his practice to primarily civil litigation). He brought the matter to a swift conclusion, and I got a settlement check for my troubles.
The other case was a HUGE employment case with a Fortune 500 Company in Silicon Valley. While I cannot discuss the case details, I was very pleased with the outcome.
