William has represented me on two separate motor vehicle accidents. One when I was a college student in 2010, and another in 2020. Both times he was tough on the opposition, and very very understanding with me. I was hurt and dealing with physical ailments in both instances, and he and his office staff were kind and accommodating with my schedule and needs. He always made sure I was informed of where we were at in the process, asked for my opinion and listened to my wishes. Everything was ultimately my choice, and he made sure I knew it! I couldn't recommend William Weigand more, and in fact - I have recommended him on multiple occasions! Several family members have been represented by him since, and each time he fought hard for us. I couldn't be happier with the results of his work.

Gordon worked hard and fast on my case, And we were able to achieve the result we wanted. I was on vacation in Washington State when the accident happened, So when I returned home to Chicago I had to contact a lawyer from the correct jurisdiction (Washington) So I contacted Gordon and a few others for consultations. Well, Out of the 4 I contacted Gordon was the only one willing to take my case, And we won it! He was good at communication and keeping me updated on everything throughout the 11 months we worked together. I would definitely recommend hiring Gordon!

I was so disappointed when my first attempt to hire a prominent lawyer in the Seattle area failed. After presenting my personal injury story to him, his firm elected not to accept representation of me because "we do not believe there is a significant chance a court will rule in your favor...".

I had to step outside of our normal legal council because of a PUD dimension that my case was involved with. So Larry was a referral as he has this expertise with Public Utilities.
I have to say I was not happy to begin with another attorney especially since we have to re-convey the entire litany of the case/situation from the beginning again :-(
Larry was upfront, respectful and yet to the point; and most pleasant while doing so. He also has a can of "old school wit" that he seems to know just when to open to be most effective and share with the other side.

My partner and I recently did our estate planning with Stacy and her firm based on the strong reviews in handling pets. While we ultimately got what we needed - our wills with a pet provision - I wouldn't say the folks we talked to seemed to have any particular expertise in the matter, it was just another section in the will that we filled out.
Our entire experience took from February - August from our reaching out to schedule our initial consultation call to receiving our final signed documents. While our situation didn't seem particularly complicated or unusual, we were charged over $700 more than the original estimated retainer.
While I suppose this is just par for the course in working with lawyers and their hourly rates, it seemed like there were times where they could have been more efficient - for example, our 30 minute pre-signing phone call could have been a 15 minute phone call or simply an email, for example.
All in all, we were able to get what we needed but I would hesitate to recommend the services over others.

I was involved in a collision with an uninsured motorist in Fall 2023. At the advise of a friend, I contacted Andrew Cherin to assist me with the claim mediation with both my auto insurance and my health insurance. He was able to claim me the maximum payout from my auto insurance, and got my health insurance to waive any reimbursement out of the auto claim! I am positive things would not have gone as well as they did without his help. I pray that I never need his services again, but for sure know that he's the one I would call if I do!

You should consider David. A friend just now asked me about my divorce lawyer and whether I liked him. It’s indeed been years since I really thought about this exact relationship (divorce in 2017) so I was reminded to review him. I met David at a wedding of some friends in which he was serving as the groom’s best man. I thought it was great that I met him organically. I think I met with a few others but a reference from a friend is worth pure gold to me. I agree with everything all have said below. He always spent good time with me, he has a sense of humor and even though at the time, I could barely crack a smile, it frankly diffused a hell of a lot of tension. He had a clever strategy and though we never discussed it, I think I picked up on his waiting game with my ex-sociopathic con man louse of a husband. I am a get- it - done - NOW- -person as soon as I make up my mind. That’s not gonna serve you best with a sociopathic poor man who has no source of income of his own. David took the long view and looking back now I know it served me well. By the time we waited him out he was willing to take far less than originally “requested”. I was my usual impatient. But in the end, not only did he honor my request to finalize the divorce on a certain specific date (it was meaningful to me and sent a secret sayonara message to my EX), he saved me a lot of money with his tactics.

I have known David Huber almost 20 years, professionally and personally. He was the clear choice to represent my interests when I divorced in 2010. My then wife and I had been married over 30 years and had lived together for eight years prior to that. We had two adult children and a somewhat complicated estate of community and separate properties.
I wanted a fair, equitable and friendly outcome. Unfortunately, my former wife engaged an attorney to represent her interests that was not interested in a fair, equitable or friendly outcome.
David’s even and principled representation was able to neutralize the vitriol of opposing counsel while remaining a strong and persuasive advocate on behalf of that ‘fair and equitable’ outcome. David and I both understood that the problem was not primarily my wife … and after 18 months of discovery (of questionable good faith), David was able to persuade opposing counsel that no assets were being hidden. From that point we were able to proceed to a formal mediation process which resolved in one day.
On both a professional and personal level, David was a superb lawyer and counselor. He was always prepared. He communicated well the different perspectives of each issue before making his recommendation … and then accepted whatever decision I ultimately made. He shielded me effectively against difficult opposing counsel. He advocated for and so allowed a fair and equitable outcome to occur. Friendly even.

Lauren stood by our side for nearly five years while we were attacked by our own union and their lawyers. She won the bigger part of the lawsuit and if the PERC system wasn't so rigged toward unions, she should have won that too. While my faith in our justice system is severely shaken and my faith in unions is almost destroyed, this is the one shining example of a true legal professional who cares about her clients first and will take on any and all lawyers, unions or government bureaucracies that are destroying people's lives. We retained Lauren to fight our union in PERC and to represent us in a defamation lawsuit. Lauren provided excellent counsel for us and even successful in obtaining a protection order for us. Even though our outcome wasn't favorable for PERC, it was for the lawsuit. But Lauren was upfront and honest about our chances and kept us well informed.
