My case was referred from the law office of Jacobs O'Hara McMullen regarding two non at faults accident to cut down on legal fees from Houston, TX. Since my case has been referred to Zeke I have not spoke to Zeke not once over the telephone. I only recieve replies after weeks by emails only. I can't and have not recieved one update regarding my case and I never get the phone call that was promised via email. I have recieved nothing but empty promises and the run around time and time again after months of requesting any info or transparency. I do not have much experiences with lawyers and thank God my life hasn't required me to till now, but assure you I am glad I now know how they can be and what a terrible one now look like. After having your life derailed the last thing you want to have to add to pain and suffering is having your lawyer be a pain and aid in more suffering. Sure he might have helped others but I wasn't.

I DO NOT recommend this law firm. In September of 2023 I was referred to this firm after having a serious 4 car MVA. Without any notice they gave my case to another law firm I DO NOT recommend. After I shared my concerns about the firm “they” gave my case to I was told I probably need to go to there office to get someone to actually communicate with me referring my injury claim. There’s so much more I could say but none the less it’s a NO, Never again for me.

My husband requested help and this company said they do not do payment plans , they would not work with him to give him a payment plan. Charged 250$ to take the case 1500$ to take ticket from the city court to the county court. Then charged 2590 $ that they will not agree to a payment. Spent a lot of money in this company and they refused to help. Kept saying it’s one lawyer, then 2 weeks later a different lawyer name and now the 3rd time the name of the lawyer changed. The case was tossed around to different people and cares more about making money of cdl drivers rather than helping.

These scamming pieces of trash, continuously send me warnings, I've already contacted the city I apparently have a warrant from. No warrant. Already paid YEARS AGO! Yet they continue their scare tactics. There's a special place in hell for companies like this. Just wait when I get to actually talk to someone, whatever nonexistent god they believe in better protect them that day.

I had left a good review of Jay earlier because I believed in him. At the time I wrote my original review I was confident we would eventually win our case. Things turned for the worst!
My husband was in a car accident in 2015. He was in the backseat but sustained a head injury due to the driver of another car. My husband was awarded two lump sums. One from the drivers insurance of the car he was in and the other was from his own personal insurance. These moneys were paid to our original attorney. The amount was 50k. We switched to Jay after we felt like the original attorney was incompetent for such a case. The funds were transferred to Jay when he took our case back in 2018. Years later in 2023 he lost the last appeal and decided to keep the settlements from 2015. My husband did not receive a penny. He lives now with brain damage he suffered while this attorney kept the little amount that would actually help him to retire as my husband is now 62. I’m sure what Jay has done is illegal but to hire another attorney but we cannot afford it. We are done with lawyers at this point but I wanted to warn others of Jay.

Jay English took over my wife and daughter's case from one of his associates when they were elected to public office last November. Would give ZERO stars If I could. Communication was atrocious. Lauren failed to follow through with our executed agreement, missed court deadlines, failed to file paperwork in a timely manner and failed to make court appearances. Her actions led to the dismissal of my case before my day in court. Now it's too late. Find a responsible attorney, instead.

I've had a few attorneys before. Lauren started off pretty well. She told me everything I wanted to hear to get my case the basically disappeared. She has missed court dates, failed to file court documents in a timely manner, missed appointments, and has poor communication in general. I would not recommend her services to anyone.
