I was involved in not one but two back to back car accidents to no fault of my own. I had let my health insurance go and had no health insurance. The doctors told me I would need knee surgery but it would be a while bc I was uninsured. Stephen helped me get the knee surgery I needed and quickly. Not only that but he brought money to my pocket and helped me through this difficult time in which I could not work. I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney. Bengtson has told me several times that his goals with clients are to treat us in such a way that we come back to him and refer people to him.
He has delivered on that for me.
He got a very crappy injury case of mine in a package deal from the attorney I'd originally hired to represent me in it several years ago.
That one finally settled and had nothing in it for me. Low policy limits and ongoing pain from it because it was a side hit, I didn't know what I was doing and took forever to get treated.
Total mess.
Bengtson was nice about it, and I asked what to do if I got into another accident (really when, because I drive a lot).
I got into another accident.
This one had a semi that caused it.
I called a couple of other lawyers to shop around, settled on him because I'd always been able to get questions answered by his paralegal.
When I came in for the initial consultation he gave me a $3000 check from the case with no money it it. He'd promised to give me something out of it when it was being mediated, but basic arithmetic said I was getting zero so I hadn't bothered to check back.
He DOES NOT use an answering service! So if someone picks up they actually work in the same office (there's a paralegal who works for another lawyer &/or a guy who works reception who pick up the phone occasionally)
The semi truck case settled recently and that was a life changing check for me.
(Partly because I'd wisely let all needy @$$h03$ exit my life without letting them know I was getting anything good out of the accident)
But I haven't had to work since it showed up. And I bought my own place with it too.
It was near the bottom of what Bengtson said my case could bring in, but it was plenty so I was fine with it.
He indicated we could definitely go to court if I wanted, and I think that did have a somewhat higher likely payout for me.

Mrs. Dimitri was hired by our insurance company to represent us. I was fearful of an attorney not understanding our business and what we do everyday. This is absolutely not the case with her. Mrs. Dimitri brings a fine balance of empathy and aggressiveness to her job. Her meticulous attention to detail and fact is unparalleled. John was referred to me by my Father and Step-Mother after I was injured in a car accident. He had helped them a few years before and they insisted I call John, even though I don't live in Savannah. (I do live in Georgia)
I am so glad they gave me this advice! I have permanent injuries and John and Adam were able to navigate the insurance red tape while I was able to heal. They did a fantastic job , much, much better than I could have done myself.

Upon receiving an emergency, late-night call on a Sunday from a man in central Alabama for legal assistance on a potential medical malpractice or nursing home negligence case, I called this top-rated firm on Monday morning. On top of exemplifying every rating attribute (trustworthiness, responsiveness, etc.), Mr. King is also an efficient and proactive attorney. I was charged with a misdemeanor possession of marijuana along with a failure to stop at a stop sign. Upon our initial consult, Mr. King was very understanding of the personal circumstances surrounding my case, and even went so far as to console me through such a low point in life. Within 24 hrs of establishing a rapport and hiring Mr. King, he called to inform me that he already started working on my case as soon as I left, and my charges may be reduced to a disorderly conduct if I agreed to either a 6 month probationary period or a 3 weekend stint in jail. During the time before the sentencing, I had called Nicholson Revell LLP several times with questions regarding the case, and each time Mr. King called back promptly with clear and concise answers. My case concluded with the 'failure to stop' thrown out, and conviction of disorderly conduct with a 6 month probationary period along with a 250$ fine.
