When in need, everyone should be so fortunate as to have an attorney like James McCollum.
Mr. McCollum helped me to pursue a work-related grievance. Right from the start it was clear that he was sharing a wealth of experience and knowledge. When I sent over my info, he and his team got right to work on checking the viability of my case. Over about a week or two, Mr. McCollum gave me regular updates on their research into relevant case law, statutes, limitations, and the challenges with each. They reviewed well-known and recent laws, as well as older and more obscure. He broke all of this down in terms I could understand, and explained how each option may or may not succeed.
Mr. McCollum was upfront about challenges, possible outcomes, and realistic goals. As such, not everything was what I hoped to learn about my case. But, he helped me to make better, more informed decisions. He looked out for my best interests (where some lawyers would probably prioritize their own) and gave his time generously for my small case. Our conversations always put me at greater ease, and I got a sense of him as an honest and good man.
In the end, Mr. McCollum guided me through a hard and drawn-out process. He walked me through possible motivators of the other side, costs and risks they might run into at different stages – things I think you can only learn from experience. His insight allowed me to hold ground with confidence. With his guidance, I was able to secure a workable end, and move on.

I live in the charles county area. I was recently almost potentially convicted with a charge that would effect my job. After thirty five years with the company, only missing time out due to two pregnancies, I got hurt at work. One would think after all these years with the company one would know what to do. To my surprise, people were saying you can't file a workers’ comp claim, the company will fire you or make your life miserable.
I called many different law firms and they would not take my case. It was looking very gloomy until someone recommended Will Inman to me. As someone who is struggling, this is very important because I feel anxious about how long everything takes and whether or not I'll be able to provide for my future because my original plans no longer matter since having a life-changing accident. I was being charged with Felony Theft and Burglary for illegally rescuing a Great Dane from someone who was neglecting him. Mr. Ferrante was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, quickly returned phone calls, answered all my questions, did an over abundance of research, and above all was honest with me, and never gave me false hope. He got me a plea bargain with the State's Attorney to drop the burglary and brought my felony theft down to a misdemeanor with probation and community service. I was facing 13 years in prison and walked away with comparably, next to nothing! I also brought my best friend to him when she got charged with a DUI and hit and run and consulted with him again when I got charged with driving on a suspended license. He does excellent work! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in a situation where legal counsel is needed!

About a year ago, I was involved in a car accident, and sought Randy’s legal aid — a decision I couldn’t be happier with. From beginning to end, he was so helpful, immediately available, and communicative. What I appreciated about him was that unlike my last lawyer who found out I had experience in law and made me do the work I hired him to do, Randy treated me like he would any other client. He handled everything so efficiently, and didn’t bombard me with constant tasks or questions. He kept me in the loop and didn’t ever make me feel overwhelmed. He was able to work out a settlement I felt very happy with. I was glad he was so tech savvy, so I was able to work out the parts on my end straight from my iPhone, with no complications. It made the process so much faster and smoother. He was thoughtful and caring, sometimes checking in to ask how school’s going or shooting a quick update text with a birthday or holiday message! I never felt forgotten, he made sure I felt like a priority at all times. Any time I texted him, he responded within minutes. If I could give him 10 stars I would, but the 5 stars will have to do. My attorney, Garry Wilcox Jr., worked with me throughout the entire process, making sure everything was taken care of every step of the way. My initial incident was a frustrating one physically and emotionally. I had just graduated from college and purchased my first car, and a situation beyond my control caused another driver to rear end me while I was stopped at a red light. Just a few months into purchasing the car, I was devastated with the damages inflicted on my car, as well as on my person. I was so nervous about my injuries, as my job was physically demanding, but Garry ensured me that he would work his hardest to make sure that not a penny of lost wages would truly be lost. It took me a bunch of phone calls and horrible consultations before finding Ms. Jones to handle my worker's compensation case. I live in a smaller town where almost all of the attorneys who will talk to me about a work comp claim will set up a meeting for a lawyer who is in Baltimore in their office. Our Son had two Title IX Complaints filed against him with the University of Maryland from another Student. As a Family we disagreed with the Complaint.
