My experience with John Jilik has been exceptional. I was extremely blessed to have had John as my lawyer to oversee the legal process of my personal injury case. John and his team have been extremely supportive during the entire process. Their main concerns was my wellbeing and receiving the help that I needed during my healing process. John was consistent,genuine, persistent and he periodically checked up on me first, then updated me along the way with things. My only job was to heal and John took care of the rest. The first thing I would like to say is: Thank you Rex! Thank you for working my case like it was your only one, even though we both know you have been busy! I retained Rex as my attorney years ago in a personal matter. Last year, I was involved in an auto accident and with Michigan auto laws, I wasn't sure what to do. I was involved in a terrible boating accident and was very hesitant to get an attorney involved. After meeting Brian McKenna, as well as his partners, my wife and I both felt very comfortable going ahead with their team and are very happy we did. They are caring, professional, honest and will do everything they can to obtain a good settlement.
In addition to their expertise, they also provided 3 primary experts for my case, a psychologist, ongoing care consultant, and video expert. Having access to these very competent outside experts was extremely helpful to my case. Brian was always available to answer questions and take strategy suggestions from my wife and I. He didn’t mind any question or suggestion that we threw out. Brian’s communication skills were excellent. In my case, we were very involved and that was alright with Brian. We worked very well together as a team.
My case did not go to trial, it was settled out of court with an insurance company. I truly believe that the work, presentation, and arguments that Brian and his team put together convinced the insurance company to settle with what we considered a very fair settlement without going to court.

I hired Todd for a very serious charge pertaining to operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. This was a Felony matter and the possibility of an extend jail sentence was real and highly probable. From the first visit with him in Oakland county Jail he was honest and upfront with me on what he felt he could bring to the table. I couldn’t be happier with his services from the day of retention all the way through to sentencing. He was always very responsive and fought hard against the prosecutor when they tried to make a case for a harsher punishment. Todd was also very fairly priced for the experience and knowledge of the Judges and Prosecutors in Oakland county. I truly believe he got me the best possible outcome in a situation that could have turned out very ugly. Great guy and a great lawyer – worth every penny!!

I retained Ms. Jones as my attorney in 2009, and she has been nothing but consistently excellent in every aspect of our relationship ever since. When I came to her, I needed help fighting a long term disability case against my employer who happens to be a rather well known and powerful corporation. Ms. Jones made me feel comfortable and safe from our very first meeting. After having been put through the wringer considerably for some time dealing with the issue on my own, I was mentally exhausted, emotionally defeated, and entirely convinced that I couldn't trust anyone. I was also convinced that no one would want to fight for me because of the bigness of who I was up against. Ms. Jones immediately set me at ease. She both listened and heard my entire story. She asked very specific and detailed questions to make certain she knew all the facts; she took time with me in order to get it right without rushing me through or implying I should speed things up. She ALWAYS returned my emails and calls without making me feel like a bother. She never failed to answer every question and address every concern. Most importantly to me as a client, she NEVER spoke defeat. If she ever had any doubts, she didn't put them on me which I appreciated very much since I had enough to worry about already. She was honest and realistic, she didn't mince words, however, she was always hopeful, always optimistic, and always of the mind that we were going to come at the issue from every legal angle available to us. In short, we weren't going down without a fight. For someone who had the fighting spirit beaten out of her, to have found a lawyer who had enough of it for the both of us was a blessing! By the way, we won. Although resolved, my case was somewhat ongoing due to reviews and re-evaluations. Ms. Jones never abandoned me. She remained on my team, she remained available to me to answer questions or give me a little guidance along the way. It made a world of difference! She is once again actively at work for me (2015) because my case took an ugly and unexpected turn. I immediately contacted her about the latest turn of events and, without hesitation or reservation, she was back in the fray with me and ready to fight once again on my behalf. I've dealt with other lawyers and have known many who have travelled this same disability road, and I've seen things play out much differently than my experience and not for the better. It truly does matter who represents you. The situation can look impossible but, if you have someone who not only cares but knows their job and the playing field well, believe me, you have more than a fighting chance no matter what anyone says! No lawyer is a magician, no outcome is guaranteed, but I know without a doubt having experienced it first hand and with that experience being over 6 years with Ms. Jones, the journey can be made less treacherous and frightening if you have the right travelling companion. I brought Jami a disability case ... My disability insurance carrier suddenly decided I was OK and could go back to work and simply stopped paying after 7 years! In Michigan TWO appeals within the insurance company itself are required before you can dispute the company's actions in court. I thought about trying to handle the appeal(s) myself (I'm a former media pro with heavy writing experience and pretty much an expert researcher). In the end, I brought the issue to another attorney who had helped my wife get her SSD benefits, who in turn referred me to Jami. After meeting her and discussing my case, I decided that the issue was far too complex to risk trying to fix without professional help. One of the best decisions I ever made! Jami handled the appeal and it never even got to the second "internal" insurance company review. My benefits were FULLY reinstated as a direct result of Jami's involvement. And she's been with me ever since assisting with other problems with the two insurance companies I currently have to deal with. After a very long struggle with defense attorneys who were uncaring, non-responsive, just "throw you to the wolves" kind of people and steal your money, we needed an appeals attorney. We contacted many many appeals attorneys and it became a coin toss between Mr. Carron and only one other attorney. We did not hire him, but we're hoping we made the right decision. Mr. Carron was very knowledgeable , responsive, caring and listened to any concerns or questions we had. Coming to this site I had little hope, I had been on several different sites, Ask an attorney? Get legal advice? I was givin misinformation each time. So basically I was gonna give it one last try lucky for me Dana answered my question unlike all the other attorneys that I had asked he actually knew what I was talking about. In fact Dana had handled some cases like mine. So he began looking into this for me. We have been corresponding for several days as he was doing research for me. But unfortunately he ha d explained that I had misses the deadline to file a claim by 3 days. My heart sank if I hadn't gotten so many bad answers in the past by professionals who really had no clue & didn't care enough to do some research i would have been able to file a claim. So unfortunately we couldn't continue with my suit at this time. But Dana reassure me he will look into extensions for this deadline & if he can do it he will get a claim filed in my behalf. So this is why I say he is 1 in a million a rare breed because who does that for people? Spend days trying to help them even at home going far beyond what he needed to. The title says it all.
