Honestly, I don’t know where to begin. Rasor law heard my case from the beginning and has guided me every step of the way where I have little to no worries at all, even though my lawsuit is very stressful and I worry a great deal at times which is normal. I was in a car accident and I was injured so I turned to an attorney at Michigan Auto Law to see what the law would afford me. Brandon was the lawyer of my choice and he did great with my case. He kept very close contact with me and he kept me updated and informed. The communication with him was great. If I couldn’t get a hold of him right away over the phone, he would always call me back quickly. He treated me excellent, first class as a matter of fact. He gave me all of my options and he did exactly what I wanted him to do. I didn’t want a long drawn out lawsuit, and Brandon made the settlement quick and easy. I’m very happy with the amount Brandon got for my injuries and the way he treated me throughout the lawsuit. I would recommend him highly. I know I can still call on Brandon whenever I need anything.

After being hit by a car my a delivery driver, I hired Brandon to handle my case. He does not keep me updated- I hear from him once every three months if I'm lucky. When I call and try to get updates, his secretary informs me he's not available, but when I ask when he will be, she simply says "I don't know". So, on top of not taking initiative to keep me informed he is a hard person to get ahold of. Even after leaving voicemails, his average response time seems to be a week. Most concerning is his being adamant that my settlement check has "been in the mail" for three weeks. This is after I sent him my power of attorney form to accept a settlement MONTHS ago. If you care about timeliness, honesty, and communication with your attorney, hire anyone but Brandon Hewitt.

I was the third person from the stop light on Cherry Hill on Telegraph. I was waiting for the light to turn green and I was rear ended from the back at 40 miles per hour. I was taken to the emergency room with a mild concussion. I had concussive effects. My son-in-law is an accident lawyer and likes the attorneys Michigan Auto Law, so I went to him to seek out the best firm in Michigan. Since he is in the same legal specialty, he know which questions to ask to direct me to the right place. From there, I had an interview with a lawyer Brandon Hewitt and he took my case from there. Everybody at Michigan Auto Law is great. Brandon followed through with everything for me, even though I had a smaller case. He did his due diligence to help me. There are some quirks and constraints with the Michigan law regarding car accidents and this firm is even very proactive in getting legislation changed in favor of injured plaintiffs. It makes me happy to see they’re working to change what needs to be changed rather than just shrugging their shoulders and treating people like a file number. Overall I’m very pleased with Michigan Auto Law and the representation from Brandon for everything they were able to do. I would recommend them to anybody.

Saw Mr. Beck concerning a malpractice suit vs. CVS pharmacy. Met with him , gave him all the information and was told he would keep me posted. Finally called him after 2 months and was told that he just got back from a Las Vegas vacation and was just to busy to take my case. Referered me to his "BUDDY" at another law firm . Chris Ebbott of Flint my lawyer at the time met with my ex-wife as I was going through my divorce and had him litigating my property he was meeting and fraternizing with the opposition and ended up losing my property due to lack of work ethic on my file while having the nerve of asking me to pay my balance he lost me money in my divorce lost me my property in litigation he was worthless I would have rather hired a kindergartener school teacher and her students maybe they would have had sympathy for me but with this clown I lost both cases

I've seen these guys do great work before but that was when I was working in the courts and I watched them work for the high class of Lansing.
They're great if your the rich and elite but if your a normal person, they don't respect you enough to even follow through in basic communication.

This office had my case for over a year and a half. They did not file my case in court within the time limit, which is a year for PIP benefits. This has set me back financially really bad. I have not returned back to work. With this type of over looked or unprofessionalism deed will cost me in the long run. This means no lost wages, no doctor's who treated me will be paid, no medical expense being paid, no replacement cost being paid to the people who helped me, no mileage for all that traveling time. All for a simple $235.00 fee for filing with the court in a timely matter. This should be the first thing an attorney's office should do. Also, I kept in contact with the paralegal that was on my case, ( I liked her) but no knowledge about claims statutory NOTHING! you see, I am informing now what happened. I know things happens and I wasn't going to post, but when I see another customer with similarities, I thought you know.. people need to know. Now I am stuck with paying those bills mentioned and money lost for gas etc. Wait! every time I did call the paralegal she would say it's the insurance company taking so long. while all the time Paul Whiting's office had not filed my case in court. Then when I received my records thank GOD! I got them when I did, I see where the insurance company corresponded to this attorney's office about what they were going to do with my case. UH.... shouldn't the attorney's office be asking the insurance company THIS?? I'm just saying..

I had two speeding tickets I never contested and that prevented me from being employed at a very well paying career because of strict insurance policies. I had to wait 3 years to be eligible, so I searched out an attorney to help get them off my record.
I consulted with multiple lawyers prior to contacting Ryan and most were overall disinterested in such a minor case and wanted an exorbitant amount of money. Many also said what I wanted done couldn’t be done. Ryan was not only affordable, he promised me he would accomplish what I wanted.
He effectively got two tickets expunged at least as far as background checks go which effectively expunged those two tickets. It allowed me to get hired at the company I desperately wanted to join.
I’m extremely grateful as the career that otherwise was out of my reach for at least 3 years, I was able to begin. In one year I was able to buy a home and I owe a great deal of thanks to Ryan for opening that door for me.

I went to school with Mr. Streefkerk, so I naturally called him for representation. I faxed him my paperwork and we met for a consultation. My goals were to have my hearing date moved and to dismiss an illegitimate PPO that had been filed against me, with my main focus on getting court date moved. Mr. Streefkerk agreed that the allegations held no merit and ensured me it would be no problem to have the court date moved. We agreed on a price of $750, with no specific date established for payment. Mr. Streefkerk was subsequently unable to get the court date moved and I had to miss a vacation to attend my hearing. After this, I doubted Mr. Streefkerk's effectiveness as counsel and began questioning whether I should pay him to represent me in court. When there was no other movement on his behalf with my case and he began requesting money to move forward with anything, we decided to terminate our relationship. Since termination, Mr. Streefkerk has been extremly rude via text message and has sent messages to me such as "loser" and "deadbeat". I can assure you that I am neither. He informed me that he is very upset because I declined representation and he didn't make any money. I received a bill for $29 a couple weeks after our relationship had ended. I have since contacted other representation. My new attorney has much more experience than Mr. Streefkerk and was shocked that he was unable to complete a simple task, such as having a court date moved.
My final opinion is that Mr. Streefkerk lacks the experience to be effective/persuasive within the judicial community, is very immature in regards to business practices and should only be trusted to handle the simplest of duties.

Since my accident in 2008, I have had three different attorneys assigned to my case. The only reason I know this is that I have gotten correspondence from three different attorneys, not because any of them have taken the time to speak with me personally. I spoke with an assistant once who called to straighten out some information because she said my file was a mess. I handled all of the disability and claim issues with my own insurance totally on my own. I have been very considerate, and have never bugged them or pressured them to hurry things up. I have done every single thing that was required of me, and provided them with excellent documentation. They sent another attorney to my deposition who didn't even give me a business card, but made off hand statements like my case was "so easy, no wonder the boss took it". When it was discovered that the defendant had low insurance, I was told to go home and check on my policy, even though the paperwork was laid out right there in front of us at the deposition that I have 100,000 coverage for underinsured motorist. I had to point this out to the attorney there. This info never was passed along to "the boss" apparently, because when I called to see what was happening, nobody seemed to remember this. I have lost three days of work for hearings and depositions that were cancelled at the last minute because my attorney was not prepared or had something else come up. He does not return calls, and does not appear to be invested in representing me.

Zachary Kemp is NOT the lawyer you want to represent you. We hired Zachary Kemp and paid a $5000 retainer which included all court appearances. Kemp was more than happy to take that money and do minimal to no work proceeding all the way up to trial. Kemp then took a position with another firm, leaving his own firm named after him, emailing his client. Please do not waste your time dealing with these terrible lawyers who handle cases terribly, they double dip in charges and are just all around horrible horrible people. Me and my mom were hit by a semi truck by a well know produce company. They couldn’t get me loss wages. They double dip in charges. They switch lawyers without letting anybody know. I wouldn’t recommend this law firm to my worst enemy. I wish I would’ve just stayed with Mike Morse. I am so sad and upset. I wasted two years of my life with this law firm. Beware!! Not only was there any JUSTICE or PEACE..the Attorney handling my case left the firm and the office ignored my calls. Once the new attorney was assigned his Assistant was rude, spoke disrespectfully against my deceased husband and hung up on me. Didnt even attempt to help and charged fees towards his insurance policy payout...and still has the rude Assistant still employed there...Save yourself the guilt and avoid this firm.

What you need to understand is, He has skin in the game too. His time, his energy, his finances. He will give you his best advice on the best possible outcome for what you're are dealing with. He is working for you and unfortunately he is bound to do what his client wants, not what he, the professional believes is best.
This firm is compassionate and empathetic. I cannot say enough about Katie! She is a fantastic assistant but more importantly a great human being. She was so kind when she didn't have to be! My sons case could have turned out a lot better but you cant help someone who wont help themselves and fight against themselves so hard!

David told me he needed a retainer, even though I had ARAG, to help me with a document to sell my home. He literally downloaded a form template (probably from the internet) and sent it to me with parts not filled in, names misspelled, and the wrong genders. He couldn't have spent more than 10 minutes on it. I could not use the document and instead went through the form template from the title company. Of course, he kept my retainer. I felt totally scammed. Wish I would have stayed away from this attorney!

The man could barely pry his eyes from his phone on greeting me. I explained why I was there. In the middle of my discussion the secretary yells about a phone call. He interrupts me with his hand! Leaves and takes this call. I have it about five seconds too long. Packed my papers and stormed out. On the way out, I see him reclined back on the phone. I was livid. Hope his business tanks.
