I began my divorce proceedings with a lawyer who only concerned himself with separating the client from his or her money and drag out the divorce to that end. I fired that lawyer and hired Paris P. Eliades, Esq., who is the exact opposite of the first lawyer.
Mr. Eliades strives to complete divorce proceedings as efficiently as possible, always with an eye to saving his client paying unnecessary monies towards that end. Mr. Eliades is always prepared in court, unlike some other attorneys I have observed. He and his staff are competent and knowledgeable regarding their jobs and responsibilities to their client. I recommend Mr. Eliades highly if you are in need of his services.

If I could give this lawyer no stars I would. I've decided to hire Brian Wilton as my attorney based on his reviews, ratings on avvo, and superlawyers, and his credentials as also being mayor of Lake Como, NJ. My case was an injury case. I have been out of work for almost 5 months. Within those 5 months I have had no medical treatment and/or physical therapy for my injuries. I have had x-rays done however, no MRI and/or possible surgery. Brian said that I could have had an MRI done a long time ago. As an attorney he could have fought to get me an MRI done but didn't. Brian wanted me to go back to work w/o any treatment. I felt like I was being medically neglected. I told him that the state statute clearly says that if the other party refuses or neglects to provide health services reasonable and necessary to cure and relieve me of the effects of the injury or restore proper function where possible, I may take action and file a Motion for Medical. Brian didn't want to do that. I felt like he was no longer on my side but on the other party side. He said that I have to build a case meaning my case wasn't strong enough. If my case wasn't strong enough then why did he take the case for in the first place to begin with? My case has been dragging on and I wasn't getting the energy from him. He may be an experienced attorney but not a aggressive attorney who will fight and defend their client. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Brian Wilton. He says one thing one day and another the other. He got loud by raising his voice at me and told me he doesn't like me telling him how to do his job. I'm the client and the victim, he suppose to work for me. He told me to find another lawyer and he was gonna dismiss my case. Is it this hard to ask for help, treatment for my injuries?

Worst experience ever. Hired him for my defense against false accusations from my exgirlfriend. We went through every detail I was honest with what happened to this day I can’t see my son regularly because the consent agreement this super lawyer suggested me. He really don’t care about your case unless there is a big check waiting for him. If you case Is restriction order, family court, assault or anything not to serious don’t hire him don’t waste your time and more importantly don’t waste your money. Plus he may not show up to your hearing

A few years ago Raffi T. Khorozian took on my daughter's case after a lady slammed into her. This accident broke her arm and she had to undergo emergency hand surgery. Raffi visited us at home and explained the entire case to us in the comfort of our home. He is no nonsense, speaks clearly and frankly. He always answered my calls and questions and in the end got my daughter the settlement she deserved.
He didn't settle for first offers. He knew my daughter was a cheerleader that would not be ab le to cheer again, so get got her the money she needed to replace her cheerleading lost scholarship money.

Right when we were about to settle my first case, I got into another minor accident that made my neck pain even worse. We did a project which included several change orders asked for by the Hicks at his residence . Mr. Hicks, a partner at this law firm , acted very unprofessional, his wife actually contacted my employees via text causing tortious interference with our contracts. While completing his contracts, we found his soil was sub par and full of clay and needed to be remediated. He and his wife practically had temper tantrums causing for an unbelievably unsuitable work environment at his home. Even with their attempts to cause harm to me and my company, we competed the contract. A year later, he claimed that some of the brick pavers moved, I explained to him that he refused to pay to remedy the soil situation and therefore it was not covered by our warranty. He proceeded to use his law degree to sue us, he filed suit for over $24,000.00 which included almost $12,000.00 in new landscaping which was not part of my contract. While delivering the discovery to his house, the driveway which he claimed to have been removed and reinstalled in his lawsuit had the same pavers sinking in the same spot a year after they were supposedly replaced.. if this partnership allows attorneys like this, who use their law license to try to steal from hard working contractors then I would say run away from this firm. They support disgraceful behavior like this from their partners! We just recently went to binding arbitration. The arbiter threw out 99% of his case and awarded him $2300.00, one tenth of what he was fraudulently suing me and my company for!

I have used James Dezao lawfirm for two of my MVA cases where I was injured. From both cases that I had I only spoke to him once which indicates he is very busy. I was about an hour away from my office when I received a call that you were in my office. My staff member called me while you were in the conference room, and I advised that I that don't want you to wait because I am an hour away. As such, I proceeded to ask you about your matter, and you explained the circumstances of your claim and we were on the phone for over fifteen minutes. I advised that I would refer you to another Attorney closer to you who handle your type of claim. Based on our conversation, I knew that I could not help you. Now, I find it to be disturbing for you to come to my office without an appointment and expect for me to be there. On Monday, December 11, 2023, I had a Master Hearing at the Newark Immigration Court at 9:00 am. You arrived at my office at 11:15 am without an appointment. By the way, at 11:41am on Monday, December 11, 2023, I screened the address and phone number of the other Attorney's office to you via text message.

I drove two hours to meet with Mr Jude Nelson. When I arrived I was asked to enter a conference room with a speakerphone. Mr. Nelson did not have the courtesy of meeting me in person. I could have saved time and money. To make matters worse, he says he is too busy with cases and refers me to someone else. I was left very unimpressed by his mannerism and his legal understanding of certain matters which completely conflict with written records by authorities.

Mr. Collis reached out to me after I filled out on online inquiry on Hark & Hark's website. I responded with the basic details of my case (he knew it was a lawsuit before he contacted me). Explained how I would need to defend myself in order to get points removed, without an attorney. The insurance co. Ladies said they highly recommended I get the points removed or I would have increased insurance fees for the next 5 years.
I chose to hire Lou. He was kind, patient and thorough explaining the system, and what to expect in court. He explained his plan, the hoped for outcome, and expected court fees.

He did nothing that I asked him to do and is very unprofessional and took weekz to get back to me and when he finally did he gave me bad advice that almost made me commit fraud. Luckily I questioned his advice and found out that what he told me was not correct and I discontinued his representation so I can find a real attorney that knows what they are talking about … as they say you get what you pay for and he is cheap but if he gives you bad advice then doesn’t call you back until 10 days later after multiple attempts to contact him is it really worth it?

We were very understanding when he told us he had covid, heart problems, other cases, etc... but enough is enough! Now he doesn't even reply to our requests to return our papers/money with no explanation. Avoid him at all cost!! If he scamed you the same way, file the complaint with bar association. He needs his licence to be suspended/revoked until he returns all the money he stole from unaware people.

DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER. PLEASE save yourself the trouble. I gave this man crucial evidence during a domestic case, and he didn’t submit one piece of evidence. Not one. When the judge asked him why didn’t he submit any evidence his response was, “It’s just them two going back and forth”. But it wasn’t. That evidence was proof that she was not a victim in fear for her life, but a master manipulator and provoker. I gave him a list of cross examination questions to ask her. Questions that would back up the proof I gave him (that he didn’t submit as evidence) that she was in fact a liar and wasn’t in fear of her life. People who are in fear for their lives do not say and do the things she did. Period.
I asked him to find out why she lost custody of her first son, he said he would, but failed to do so. And didn’t give any updates. I literally had to beg this man for information. Just to tell me it wouldn’t be admissible in court. So I did some homework. Called two other attorneys, and was told that he can in fact can submit that as evidence. But he didn’t.
I should’ve been fired him, but already paid my retainer. I don’t have it like that to keep paying to play these legal games. He also doesn’t respond in a timely manner. Sometimes he won’t respond AT ALL.

The list doesn’t stop. And this is ALL FACTUAL. Shall I continue? Ok…
Every time there was a court date, he never followed up until the day of. When court was cancelled, he didn’t notify me until I called him the day of that cancelled court date. I was excited to possibly see my daughter again. It literally felt like Christmas waiting for court, only for him to tell me it was adjourned after I was already on the way.
Not to mention, he adjourned another one of my court dates because of a heart issue that he had. Granted, I understand things happen and people have lives. But because of that, ultimately it’s been 10 months since I’ve seen my 3 year old daughter. 10 months. What about the pain of my daughter and I? Who cares about us? Not to mention, a final restraining order for harassment is on my background for life because I sent her mother some pretty nasty text messages. Never put my hands on her. No history of violence. Just my reaction to emotional torture. Im a father who cares. But Who cares about the abuse on fathers? Because that’s exactly what this was. Abuse.
She took my child to another state before any threat was ever made with no good reason, and that isnt punishable? All I wanted was to see my child. I did everything I was supposed to do. Filed for an emergency hearing and was told that me having no contact with my child for over 5 months wasn’t legitimate enough for an emergency hearing. To be quite honest, I don’t even think he put in the petition for an emergency hearing, like I requested him to. Simply because he hasn’t done anything I’ve asked him to do. Not one thing. That’s how messed up this entire thing went. I don’t have the kind of money to hire another attorney, and I think he knew that. Reason why he took advantage. If the courts actually cared for the well being of the child all of this could’ve been prevented. There’s no excuse why 10 months has gone by without me physically seeing my child. But they add fuel to the flames by allowing the alienation of a parent months and months on end. They want you to react. But if the roles were reversed, none of this would have been tolerated from the start. It’s really friggin sad how the system works.
Especially when you pay someone your hard earned money to defend you, and they do the complete opposite.
He’s part of the problem.
STAY AWAY. HIRE SOMEONE WHO CARES. HE DOES NOT. Update: he adjourned another VIRTUAL court date hearing. 3rd time

This attorney let a juror sleep through a trial and did not let the judge know. He was not helpful at all and only cares about himself. I would not recommend using this guy he will get you railroaded. He let me know he is overwhelmed with cases. Please do not use this guy! Find someone who actually does their job and wants to help people! If you want to be ignored..... pick him!!!

I was recommended to Rob by my real estate agent (seller). She said she used him for years and for a simple real estate closing this should have been simply and quick.
He presented a flat fee, quickly got me to sign the agreement and claimed he would take care of the next steps. The first time I realized there was a problem was during the inspection process. The buyers expressed some concerns and Rob never sent me the full list of items that needed to be addressed - he picked and choose what he wanted. It was not till my agent called us because the buyers agent expressed concern the buyers were about to walk away because we refused to negotiate on issues that needed to be addressed. This was the first time we were hearing of this.
Later in the transaction we find out that Rob had been stalling the buyer's lawyer to finish the wording on the sales contract for the home. Again and again we would find out that Rob was just not following through. We ended up providing information through our agent to the buyers agent and finally their lawyer to get this transaction complete.
Rob did the absolute minimum work possible. If the buyers were not understand and we did not have to sell our home as quickly as we did, we would have started over with a new attorney. This was the most stressful experience of my life and all because someone could not do his job! Nothing made my husband and I happier then signing the closing paperwork!

Same thing in my case. I broke my Ankle bone climbing company stairs. For TWO years I sent this lawyer every single document I received and even had some serious medical documents translated, at my expense. I was the one who constantly called his him, asked if he needed anything from me, each time I had to remind him WHO I was!
The Statutory time frame for WC claim is Two years. I found out from my NEW lawyer, but by this time the statutory timeframe was up and I had no legal rights to presure my employer.
I guess this lawyer actually worked for my employer.
Don’t waste your time, energy or mental health on this poor excuse of a lawyer.

I sustained a serious work injury. I was looking for a good WC attorney and contacted Pond Lehocky. I was advised that they did not handle WC in my state, so they gave me Jeffrey Stern, who practices in my state. After signing up with him I thought he was a good attorney. His office was very unorganized and he was dressed in shorts when I had my first consultation with him, but he seemed to be very good per our conversation. As my case went on, I gave him updates of all of my treatment and the shenanigans my employer was trying to pull. The case was proceeding along, so there was nothing urgent to be done as I was treating. Well, after my treatment was coming to a close and the physician and my employer were trying to force me back to work, it was time for Mr. Stern to act. Not only did he stop communicating with me, he lied and told me he was doing things on my claim that I found out he was not doing. I got fed up and fired him. He lied to me and to the court. When I did get a new attorney, I found out that my employer's counsel had sent him paperwork that I needed to fill out 3 times for completion, which he ignored and never sent to me. My employer's counsel was about to file a petition to have my claim closed. Thank God I found a new attorney before that happened.

I hired Harvy Rothman and Gerald Poss to handle my case for car insurance claim (accident), wrongful termination and I wish I never did. They had my hopes up high and my trust that they would represent me thoroughly. They did not do so! We lost the case to lawyers that ran circles around these non prepared amateurs that call themselves lawyers. I sure regret hiring these dweebs! Oh yeah I received a total of $6k for both claims... pathetic!!!

This attorney does not communicate at all! He failed to act on my behalf and I was kept out of all crucial decisions. He motioned to dismiss the case while I was sitting there in court awaiting being called to the witness stand, as per his instructions. Although, he dismissed my case, he refuses to send my files or answer my calls. I am a senior citizen and have no idea what recourse I have? Potential clients should be warned about him.
