This guy is awful. I signed a retainer with him thinking he would help me with an awful accident I was in, and he did absolutely nothing. There was a video of the accident, I was gravely injured and lost my job and academic career over it, and he did nothing for me after agreeing to represent me. Gave me no advice, never even interviewed me to see how I had been injured or what I had lost due to the accident. Worse than that, he sent me to a doctor (citimed) during covid and they didn't take temperatures or wear masks. He put my health in jeopardy and traumatized me. I saw cockroaches in the corners of every room. He failed to get the surveillance video of my accident, refused to take any phone calls with me until I threatened him with a lawsuit, then when I confronted him with the way he mishandled my case he dropped me as a client. Reporting him to the DA and the bar. I can't believe he's practicing.

Honest, relentless, resourceful. These are the first few adjectives that come to mind when thinking of James Lenihan.
Upon hearing about Mr. Lenihan from a trusted friend, my initial reaction was that he sounded passionate and compassionate. By the end of our first phone conversation, I was ecstatic to feel "heard" by someone who could actually help me.

This so called attorney should be disbarred!! I’m still suffering from a divorce, that this man handled. First, every time he appeared in court, he was late and unprepared. Second, he never depositioned my ex-wife. Every time I asked him, his answer was. I don’t know. Third, just before the trial, he left me, to go skiing in Italy and had another lawyer, who knew nothing about my case take care of it. The end result was. I had to pay 9 yrs alimony and child support. 2950.00 per month. I only make 110k a year. I now was put in section 8, because Mr. Lenihan got his license from a Cracker Jack box. After getting screwed so badly by this man. I’ve decided to investigate. I spoke to many lawyers who know him. They all said, he is horrible. I also spoke to some judges who know him. They all said that he has a habit of being unprepared. Stay away from him. He couldn’t get you out of a parking ticket.

Called for a consultation, however was met with a very dismissive lawyer, stating that it's my fault that I didn't know about seeking for asylum when entering the country. Genuinely thought I'd be able to get help from them but they said I was helpless and that I'm on my own, in quite a harsh manner too.

Received this legal firm information from my employers EAP program. Office staff was friendly and kind. Scheduled quickly for an appointment, office ended up closed presumably for snow, I was able to call and make another phone consultation for later in the same week. Mr. Friedman was knowledgeable and understanding of our situation. If I could leave zero stars I would. My date of accident was 7/28/18, the offices of Belushin law firm reached out to me to handle my case, came to my chiropractors office and everything to meet me. After completing therapy, I reached out to them multiple times over the course just to get an update and was told that they were still in the negotiation process with the insurance company and that they will be reaching a settlement soon. Fast forward to September 22, 2020 over 2 years later of going back and fourth with them, I receive a letter saying they’re not going to pursue and that I should seek another lawyer. OVER TWO YEARS LATER ??? Like what is the point now, after I sustained injury and left my case i their hands, I am left with now trying to find another lawyer and as per Belushin it would be best that it’s within 3 years of my accident. They have now only left me with a couple of months until I reach the limits of my accident. DISGUSTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! I do not recommend AT ALL. I’m so disheartened by this.

I have nothing but good things to say about this lawyer and his office. Another lawyer rejected my case so my friend who had a case with Belushin office before gave me his info. The old layer said my injuries werent serious even though I was in pain all the time. Belushin send me to shoulder specialist who was REALLY GOOD. I think he worked with some football teams and stuff before. The Doctor told me I need surgery as soon as possible. After surgery Mr. Belushin found me a physical therapy office 3 blocks from my house. It was a nice office where the people were nice and the doctors knew their stuff. Last week I got my money which was wayyyyyyyyy more than I thought it could be especially since I almost gave up when the other lawyer told me I didnt have a case. GOOD JOB BELUSHIN OFFICE!!!!!!

I was living a nightmare for almost four years. I sold my home and the buyers' attorney fell for a scam e-mail, wiring my mortgage payoff to a fraudulent account at my servicing bank. All of the funds were completely withdrawn from the fraudulent account in a few days. I had no idea that any of this happened until the bank deducted a mortgage payment from my account weeks later. After my real estate attorney discovered what happened, the bank was notified of the fraud and told me not to worry, and that they would freeze the account until the situation was rectified. The buyers' attorney refused to take any responsibility, claimed to be a victim, and never notified the buyers that their home was subject to a lien from an unsettled mortgage. The local police and the FBI were notified and investigated and found that the scammers succeeded in getting the funds overseas. Everyone involved in the transaction denied responsibility and then the bank denied saying that they would freeze the account and referred me to collections, destroying my credit and putting my security clearance and livelihood at risk. I hired Tim and PLG to represent me in this matter, and when the bank refused to even discuss what had happed, he filed a civil suit on my behalf. Tim and PLG were relentless in fighting for me and helping me navigate through dealing with my employer as my clearance was in jeopardy. Were it not for Tim, I would have lost my clearance and my job. Unfortunately, there is little recourse for victims of this type of fraud and it is impossible to fight major banks, insurance companies, and attorneys without having the best on your side. I was lucky to have Tim and PLG on my side and I received a favorable outcome. Tim is passionate about what he does, seeking justice for his clients, fighting for "the little guy"! I hope no one ever has to go through what I did, but if you do, you need Parlatore Law Group in your corner!

At first got a contact right away from this lawyer. Then it seems like the lawyer was just too busy and only respond through text. I was injured in a rear end accident and was told after signing an agreement that someone would call from Colorado that he partnership with. I already contacted another lawyer and I went for Dan because he said he would and could help. I was being honest about saying I wish he didn't waste one week clearly because I didn't have enough to cover money for insurance when it wasn't about money and just need help with the injuries. Anyways. After being clear about my email, was told I was being "nasty" when I never used cuss words and only being honest just because I said "stop wasting my time" and there was so many gap conversation everytime I ask questions and wasn't given the answer after asking it a few times. I was told he only deal with "big cases all over the state" I'm a believer, I don't tolerate such name calls and mockery.

I was very familiar with the firm's name, Buttafuoco and Associates having heard of them for over 20+ years on New York Radio but didn't have need of the services until my wife's mom needed legal representation. Unfortunately, she fell and broke her hip in the nursing home she was living in a few years back and even more unfortunate, it was an accident that really could have been avoided, sparing her surgery, months of pain and a really long recovery process. We weren't surprise when the nursing home and their attorneys wanted to settle quickly and I'm glad we didn't give in. Buttafuoco and Associates advised us not to accept their offer and they fought hard and got mom and much better financial settlement. Big thanks to Dan Buttafuoco and his hard working team of counselors, you guys are super lawyers and even better family to us.

I retained Jonathan Mann of SSRGA for an appellate case. He was meticulous, organized and thorough. He communicated very clearly. We handled the entire process via phone and text. The appellate court ruled in our favor. I would definitely have Jonathan and SSRGA perform any appellate work I have in the future based on my experience and their performance. They are expensive. However, there is an old adage - you get what you pay for.

Belluck & Fox did everything they said they'd do. During discussions with my lawyer, what was outlined in terms of the process and what would happen, they checked those boxes. My life has been changed forever by asbestos and it has caused a lot of physical damage to me. I had to have major surgeries and the firm was able to get financial compensation. They hold folks accountable, so it's a bit of a mental relief. My attorney Chris Hersom listened. He was very patient and understanding which was great, you don't find too many attorneys like that, they're more cut to the chase. He was focused on helping me and everybody that I dealt with at the office in New York was helpful. It got to the point where when I called they actually knew me. Heysell Brenes who works there, would help with things that had nothing to do with her. I don't know how to thank her enough through the whole process. Everybody at the office worked together as a team. It's almost like not dealing with a law firm, you're dealing with a family that's trying to help you.

I gave them a star because you must give them something. However this is the worst law firm ever. I wouldn’t recommended them what so ever( pay attention to the signs from the beginning)I am very disgusted with their communication and the way they operate in this office. I have worked with my attorney for over 20years and he was able to provide me with great referrals if the case wasn’t his expertise. unfortunately he passed young. I have been trying to build a new relationship with a law firm after 2 weeks of calling, leaving voicemails (Just to get a response if my case will be taken )however no one has heard my case whatsoever and on today’s date young lady(office manager)tells me to simply find a new law office because she can’t force the attorney to call and their are thousand of them I can call 🤦🏽♀️ If I was told that from the start I wouldn’t continue calling that’s one. I thought I was being patient by waiting on them to respond to my voicemails and instead it backfired. Are they really busy 🙄I really hope you guys are not keeping them busy because people like this are not genuine people and have 0 customer service skills.(it goes a long way) I was wondering why they kept changing people and there’s no new reviews 🤔 (reviews are mainly about Kristina, she is no longer there) It’s absolutely clear now they are not improving. They are probably over there finishing up their pending cases. When I was given their contact information by my attorney it was in 2014. Yes I do keep my contacts because you never know when you need it but moving forward they will be deleted,after many years of keeping them on my phone 😂. I just wish my attorney was still here so I can tell him this LAW FIRM SUCKED 👎 I never really like writing reviews However I’m starting to understand The logic in them and when people are wrong and only when they are wrong and it effected in me in some way, I actually look forward to saving someone else from going through the same experience Plus like they said they are plenty of attorney office out there!!!so they won’t be missing out on nothing right? 🤷♀️ I say take your chances look elsewhere…. if I find the perfect one I might just come back and point ya in a better direction.
