Sharman represented me in a family law matter and was incredibly opinionated and unprofessional. Heard more about her personal critique of my character before court than the situation she was there for. Felt like she was representing my Ex and not myself. I resent ever having dealt with this person. Clearly she did not want to be there and clearly made her judgement of me well known.

When I was being investigated by at least two prosecuting agencies, I immediately contacted and hired Sharman. She guided me through the process, and allowed me to have my sanity when I felt that everything was crashing down. She gave me the peace of mind to know that my case was being defended in the best way possible. If you are ever charged with a crime, or are being investigated for a potential one, then you will know exactly what I mean. Sharman is highly skilled, but most importantly, trustworthy.

Stay far away from this man. His law office took my accident case on. I never heard anything from them in 3 months. I'd have to call them constantly to remind them to send faxes. Once he realized my case wouldn't make him enough money he sent me a generic letter Telling me that they had dropped my case, no explanation. WORST LAWYER, LAZY STAFF. STAY FAR AWAY.

I don’t understand how you don’t know who clients are. I wrote a review 5days ago right after Richard spoke to my father that day. By pretending as if he doesn’t know me or my father shows how underhanded this attorney is. Then you respond to my post but I can’t respond back. But I do have proof of the voicemail Richard Kenny left directly on my phone stating that he can’t release my father money due to no response back from Medicaid which we all received back in 2023. I utilized Glenn for a real estate purchase. He took every question I had and responded quickly. He never made me feel like I was asking too many questions and he was obviously a man of integrity. For my purchase it was a flat fee, so he received nothing extra for all the time and effort he showed me. Despite that, I felt that he considered my purchase important and was always there. Very glad I used him.

Last summer i was in a auto accident. I sustained injuries due to the accident and now 9 months later still being treated. I was referred to Mr Cooper from a friend. As far as Mr Cooper he is A honorable man and in no way am i saying anything negative about him his honesty integrity or service to his clients. After months of being rep by Mr Coopers office i had not recieved lost wages from no fault. I would call the office to help me with this issue the assistant would tell me that they dont have anything to do with that part of compensation. They would listen on a 3 way call between me and my no fault provider. During 1 of the 3 way calls the assistant took it upon there selves to interject and state to my adjuster that they had been injuried and after a couple weeks of going thru the process needed to recover lost wages medical bills ect said they gave up on doing so and went back to work i guess suggesting that i do the same. I couldnt believe what i had heard. After maybe or month or two that passed after that incendent i called the office to see what was done about the lost wages and was again being talked down to by the assistant who thought because they were busy that my case didnt matter that much. She was being rude so we engaged in shouting match which then lead to being forwarded to Mr. Cooper. As i tried to explain my issue he shouted and protested the staff has done nothing wrong. I am not an idiot im sure Mr Cooper has a long history with his staff and would easily withdraw from any client who wouldnt cooperate with his staff which is why have nothing to say bad about Mr Cooper. I then sent a letter stating that i will no longer need his assistance on my case and would hire another lawyer. After looking online found another lawyer which sounded like a good choice but i was sadly mistaken. I should've have known as he started to slender Mr Cooper and his practice that he was no to be trusted. After 2 months the 2nd lawyer withdrew for according to him 10k or 20k is not worth his time. Now with a third lawyer on the case there was a lien set by Mr. Cooper. The 2nd lawyer told me that he had to pay Mr. Cooper for the work he had done and that he himself would not put a lien on the case. My question is if they were so busy that they couldnt find time to focus on my case that they would have the time to put a lien on my case? Is this fair and what else can i do about this

I am honored to express my gratitude, appreciation, and experience with Mr. David Cohen and his team. About a year or 2 ago, a family friend of mine went through a very difficult period. We were fortunate enough to be referred to Mr. Cohen and have him represent my friend during a helpless time.
As a graduating law student, I want to share my experience with Mr. Cohen as I sat along side my family friend throughout the proceedings. I don’t think I could ever put into words the kindness, sympathy, intellect and professionalism that these attorneys showed to myself and my family. Cory Forman and David Cohen were literally life-savers. To give a brief background, my mother was stuck in Europe after she mistakenly traveled on an expired permanent resident card. I thought that she would be stuck for months alone in the midst of a broken immigration system, with delay after delay to her documents. Cory and David somehow knew exactly how to solve this situation and immediately made all the calls necessary, spoke to the right people, filed the right things and pulled off nothing short of a miracle. My mom was back home safe and sound on American soil within days. She was treated with the care and attention by this entire firm as if it were their own mother stuck in some foreign country. Safe to say, there is no where else I will go for all immigration concerns from here on out. 5 stars is not nearly enough for the great job these guys did. A true class act all around, we are forever indebted to them.

I want to start out by saying Ms Donlon's paralegal is extremely knowledgeable and nice. If for some reason you hire Ms Donlon you will probably deal with her paralegal at least 90% of the time.
She didn't show up for my first hearing. When i called to ask her if she was on her way she replied, "Why would I be? I wasn't hired for that." Well she was hired for that and I have the contract to prove it.
I asked her multiple times to call about statements from a couple of witnesses. I didn't find out until I fired her 2.5 months later that she didn't get those statements. She said she wouldn't need them for another 5-6 months. Which i thought was even more reason to get them when I requested. She couldn't seem to grasp that concept. I didn't think it was worth my time to explain her job to her so I left. Both options would have yielded the same results. Memories can get a little hazy after time has passed and what what could have been a huge advantage can end up being being worthless because you failed to comprehend something most 6th graders would understand.
You are 1000% better off hiring someone else. That is unless you like being talked down to and paying someone to copy your homework.

I hired Miss Donlon in a custody matter. I should of just got a public defender. She Atleast fought for her client.. She was late for the first court date. It was over by the time she even got there. She didn’t listen to anyone of my wants. Never responded back. Day of final court date she had nothing ready. Felt like I did most of the work. When they order came I didn’t even get to see it before it was signed by the judge, It had all sorts of mistakes on it that she wouldn’t fix. She kept the entire retainer for nothing. I would of done better pro se.

In my divorce and child custody hearing Ms. Donlon did not keep in contact with me, almost all communication was initiated by myself and I rarely spoke to anyone but the receptionist. In every case I showed up to court not knowing what to expect and was basically told to give up that there was nothing to do. I could have done no worse had I represented myself as I ended up paying maximum everything with almost no parental rights even though I had proof to counter the lies that were being told. She told me to gather everything I had and send it to her which I did. She had it for two months and informed me on the court date she never even looked at it and that I was going to lose anyway. I feel as though she never did anything for the money she was paid. I can not in good conscience recommend her in any way. I did all the legwork and got nothing in return. Even after asking her to petition for lower child support after I had to move to a different area and take a job making half of what I was she told me no, that I would not even be considered. Afterwards I discovered that was not true and have paid 80% of my income for a year because sure have me bad council and wouldn't go through the effort of helping me, her client.

Ok as I read these other reviews i can only assume these people must have been horrible souls. Susan kept my behind from going upstate. Was in constant contact with me and my family. I messed up in probation on a colassel level, Susan kept me out of jail until I absolutely had to go and even then I did a couple months county when I should have been going up north for 2+. She not going to baby you but let me tell you she know some people that know some people and in this town you got to know somebody. 5 out of 4 stars. Susan literally helped keep my family together when I hired her. These other reviews seem bitter and false at best.

Susan was hired to handle a criminal matter. During this time she neglected to confer with the client aside from in the courtroom on court dates. How could a proper defense be prepared with no conferences and without ever discussing with the defendant his side of the story? Well needless to say, the defendant got the shaft and would've been better off with a public defender. After the completion of the criminal case and after the defendants jail time was served, a modification of a protective order relating to this case was needed. Susan, by procedural standards, would be the one to file for the modification. She accepted one phone call from the client in which he requested the modification, after that she never returned calls or texts and obviously never filed the request for modification. Do NOT waste your time with Susan. If you use her, she will surely waste your time and money. She is unresponsive to say the least and seems pretty unknowledgeable when she speaks, which has been evidenced when she actually "practices". Susan makes me believe I myself could go to law school and be an attorney if people like her are allowed to practice.

For Susan to have worked with my family for a few years now, I could only assume that she was a good attorney to use for my case. After setting things up with her and being told that she would represent me and keep me informed, I found out 2 months later that she hadn't even looked at the paperwork past our first session. I have called and left msgs, and received no response or I got the run around. This women has no concern for you as a person and considering all that may be on her plate a simple 'i can't represent you' would have been just fine and saved me a lot of stress and anxiety. Looking back on the outcome of the cases she has worked on for my family I now question if she was the right person or did we all just get screwed.

I am still in the process of suing someone who hit me from behind. (7/2013) I just recently had surgery as a LAST(3 /28) resort. I had to do ALL of the leg work fighting with the insurance company to get this approved. I was hitting a brick wall. I finally received a call back and spoke directly to him asking him how much money my case could generate and it got the ball rolling. Letters were FINALLY sent out to aid in getting this surgery approved. It took me 6 months to get results . Linda, his secretary, while awesome, definitely put you off and makes you think that Randy is working on your case when in fact he has no idea what's going on. He does NOT return your calls in a timely manner. But I'm sure his hand will be out for his third of the case. I am not an expert, and have never sued anyone before. But I thought that hiring a lawyer was supposed to help you get results When spoken to, he has to find your file to look at it. Either he's in the weeds and needs help or is incompetent I have yet to decide. I had surgery 3 weeks ago and have asked for advice. I have re sent the request 3 times. perhaps I'm naive but I could use someone to help walk me through this process. I think a call to one of the higher-ups might get me some positive results I will send a new review when this is all said and done. When ask below if I would ever use this lawyer again that answer is up in the air. We will see what the end result brings

I HIRED RANDALL RICHARDS AND WAS APPALLED AT HOW I WAS TREATED. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY CORRESPONDENCE FROM HIM BY PHONE OR MAIL EVER. I WAS BESIDE MY SELF FOR OVER 7 MONTHS JUST WAITING AND WAITING FOR SOME SORT OF RESPONSE THAT i NEVER RECEIVED. I BELIEVE THAT HE WAS JUST STALLING ME AND MY CLAIM. I AM SHOCKED AT HOW SOMEONE GAVE HIM A 5 STAR RATING, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE FIRST CLIENT REVIEW THAT WAS A ONE STAR! BEWARE OF THIS ATTORNEY. Go to guy if you need a ticket fixed in Lawrence or Cedarhurst. Also seems politically well connected in Nassau county local courts. A little hard to communicate with since he doesn't have an office or a telephone and desen't know how to use email. The only way to contact Goldman is throgh a beeper, which he may or may not answer. Not the kind of guy to go to for complex or sophisticated work. While generally a nice fellow, he can be tempermental and doesn't seem to display much client loyalty.

Albert Khafif has been made the Co-Administrator by his brother-in-law, Jeff Cassuto, on an estate that he is now a benefactor of since the passing of his mother. This is an estate of a great aunt who died intestate...meaning she died leaving no Will. This has been in court for over 15 years. No one is contesting the Will...the estate was for millions of dollars and has been absorbed by greedy lawyers, state fees, and also mishandling of the entire estate.
After reading the review by the previous writer I am ashamed to say he is my cousin and disappointed in his lack of compassion for a client. He was raised with a silver spoon and lacks empathy.

This lawyer wasn't in our favor. My mom had an accident couple years ago. ( March 18, 2005) she was hit by an MTA bus driver in jamaica on Archer Ave. She was heading to work so she could put food on the table. This almost cost her life and left her with her lefted hand badly injured and since then she wasn't able to work. We took this lawyer in our case since we didn't know anything about law. First he failed to give my mom all her loss rages money( he gave her half of the money);because the money went to his name. Second we had to keep calling him and find out what happened with the case, he never gave any updates. The first time my mom went to court( in 2007), he sent somebody else( another lawyer) instead. The lawyer came over my mom and screamed at her ( You lost, you don't get anything). When we spoke to Kaffif about that, he request another appeal. That same day he didn't show any concern about my mom. As we were waiting for the judge to say his finals decisions, the lawyer came over 5 minutes before and said that he just spoke to the MTA bus lawyer and said that they will us 500,000 dollars instead. We didn't have time to say anything. When we got back to the court room. The judge said that we lost the case and therefore we won't get anything. when went to his office couple weeks after, he said that if we are not happy , social services is here for that, we can go and ask for help over there. He said that we have to give him 3,500 dollars to go to another appeal,which we did but we never heard anything from him since then. He said that he didn't get pay because we lost , so din'nt the doctors and therapists. The therapists used to call us because they didn't heard anything from the lawyer, but they stopped calling because they got paid. Which means he got the money from the case, but kept it to himself.We did call him, but didn't want to pick up the phone. Not only we didn;t get any money because an MTA bus driver hit my mom but he left her with thousand of hospitals bills. We never got a chance to see the bus driver. I know it is untrue not to be able to retrieve the driver when there is a specific time, location and date he works. when you know the bus number, When my mom had so many witnesses and one of them did call 911that day. They had everything on tape.
Because of everthing that happened my mom suffers from depression and we are not struggling to pay our rent.
This lawyer is heartless and doesn't care about how you will live tomorrow. He doesn't work head to head with his client.
We have tried to contact other lawyers after but they didn't want to take the case because it's been so long.
We are living one day at the time and never got our justice.

This attorney has a very bad professional behavior and very poor communication skills, this same attorney try to call me while I was attending event could not identify the caller which happen to be her.
when I called back this same number that called me no one answered.
next time she call my phone went to voicemail because I was sleep. each time she calls it is always late 8 - 10 pm I start work two or three times a week for overtime @ 4am. when she did get me on the phone she cursed me out. not aware that I presantly have a parent going thru cancer I am assisting with financialy for expensive pain medication and trying to manage my own life. Simple solution email or text would be most appropiate if you can't reach me by phone or U.S. mail.

Tom has neglected my case and has not given timelines on the progress whatsoever. I only had updates when I sent him email after email. And even then, he would reply with a very unprofessional four word answer that didn't even address the concern. Waste of money. If I wanted to be left in the dark about my case, I would have hired someone for much less.

This lawyer was the worst experience I could imagine a lawyer to be. In 3 years they called me one time.
I called once every 3 months to keep myself informed and they treated me like a criminal. The receptionist is the rudest person in the professional world.
They never answered one question of mine directly. Worse than a politician!
