Ruth Bradshaw is the WORST LAWYER you could possibly hire! There was a custody case she handle where she was best friends with the opposing Lawyer and made deals in the back end that went against agreements. She was very money hungry and was paid each and everytime she sent a bill. She also dely everything so she could get paid more for only 30 mins of work. When the issue of money for the custody agreement came up, and was told that the money being asked for, would not work out, due to the amount of the child support that was being asked for, she withdrew from the case because she said "well if you can can't afford to pay the child support then, you can't afforded me"! Do not hire especially for custody agreements, Would give a 0 (ZERO!!!) star if could!

I have had horrible service from Ms. Newton. My case was very simple and I had to stay on top of them every step of the way. The most recent trouble began when I made a doctors appointment to get a referral for a specialist. After paying 84 dollars for the visit they called me 2 hours later to let me know that it fell through and I wouldn't be treated by them. I wasted my money to get a referral that wasn't needed because apparently it has not been important enough for them to call me back. Not to mention, if I want to know any information about my case, I have to call and call. When I finally get a call back it is from someone new. I have been very dissatisfied with the service. My case is now with a different firm.

I wish I had checked his reviews before making an appointment.
I had a very simple question regarding what form to use and who should file the petition to get my son to immigrate and although Mr Suhr did give me the right form to fill out, the rest of his info was the opposite of what the Instructions were stating. Our meeting lasted less than 10 minutes as my question was so simple. The following day I called to point out the difference between his info and the instructions and was told that since I didn't sign an agreement, they would not help in any way clarify the matter.
I wouldn't mind their poor customer service if they at least had given me the right info.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

I highly recommend Paul Suhr because he has a lot of experience, knowledge, dedication, devotion to help immigrants and works very hard on each and every case. The staff is very efficient and fast to help and to keep you informed about the status of your case. Paul Suhr is well known and respected among the immigration authorities. Therefore, it is an advantage to speed up the process of any case. Thanks to Paul Suhr my brother was not deported and got his citizenship. That was how I knew this amazing Lawyer and I immediately hired him to help me in my very difficult situation. He never gave me false hope and yet gave me a lot of confidence. His quotes are low compared to other lawyers and to my opinion are very low to the great and amazing job that he and his staff do. Attorney Joseph A. Cheek has been my trusted legal advisor for many years. He was referred to me by a good friend after I experienced a "slip and fall" accident at a nightclub due to negligence, in 2007. The fall resulted in a severe life threatening injury from blood loss. After 2 blood transfusions, surgery, and 16 weeks of physical therapy, I needed help recovering extremely high medical costs. I was also seeking help with time off of work and missed college classes at UNC Charlotte which I was forced to halfway through my senior year. I hadn't even thought about future longterm damage to my leg and ability to walk that would remain impossible to predict until Attorney Cheek took my case. He took my unfortunate situation seriously and promised to be dedicated to gaining the best possible outcome for resolving the debt and physical harm caused by careless behavior and code violations of the nightclub. Mr. Cheek was hands on, aggressive, showed strong initiative, and remained highly communicative and transparent with me throughout the entire process. These cases can be lengthy and drawn out depending on the nature of the Injury and most importantly, the work habits of your lawyer and where they decide your case will be placed on their priority scale versus their other active cases.
I paid nothing out of pocket due to the contingency of the case. Final settlement received all costs and debt for medical bills, in addition to a settlement for university level courses dropped, missed wages, emotional damage due to trauma, as well as punitive damages for future physical/health repercussions.

This law firm is inhumane, heartless and deplorable. I called them a week and a half ago. The answering service says they will call back in 48 hours. No one responded. I called back to see if I could get 3 more days until I was paid to clear a balance because I HAD TO HELP BURY MY GRANDDAUGHTER and it took all of my money previous to this date ($5000 contribution ). I had mailed them payments which they did receive. I was told no. I could have provided proof if asked. Death comes to all of us at some point or another; I guess they are exempt. I feel my reason was valid for a little grace; I only asked for 3 days. Non the less I hope they never experience the loss I did.
I will add that just within an hour of my first phone call the above post I received a phone call from the firm. I spoke with a young lady name C.J. She went over my account with me. She was professional, and very empathetic. In summary positive results!! Thank you so much for representing the firm in a more positive light. C.J definitely earned them 5 stars.

On June 09, 2018; I was in a car accident on my way to work. To date: I am STILL waiting on a settlement, or information, or an Update as to the status of my claim.!?!? They have done absolutely nothing to keep me in the loop, and each phone call to make an inquiry was initiated by me. Each phone call, I was dismissed and disappointed, and felt as if my case wasn’t important. I called to inquire about the status, and was actually told by an office employee that they were working on a huge case, and that someone would return my call as soon as they were available. Needless to say, that Call was never received, nor returned. On several occasions, I was calling in at least twice a week with updated or new information regarding my case, but was made to feel as if I were a nuisance, and again, calls were never returned. However; I do have to agree, my job has NOT been the most cooperative at providing information to the attorneys, but that IS part of being a hired attorney, that is retrieving that information for the clients claim. I am truly disappointed in my choice in representation, because this was a very easy, open & shut case.

Rawlings agreed to consultation re my surgical injury after I posted on the Bar's matching service. During what was supposed to be a 30 minute consult (actually he only gave me 15), he all but said that my case was very strong. No excuse for the level of injury I had suffered during a routine surgery, he said. I was so encouraged and thus eager to proceed.
Turns out, he wanted $1000 (on top of the 52 paid for initial consult) to "read medical records." I delivered these to him (which I have since learned is not how most lawyers do this - THEY get your records and work on contingency), paid him, and after he failed to appear for our follow-up appt to discuss his findings, he finally called 3 weeks later to say, too bad, no case. Why? Because I should have known the complications of this surgery, he said, and besides, I had signed a consent form.
If this is what the case hinged on, why didn't he ask me up front if I'd signed one? Why did he even need to read my records?
To add insult to injury, he mailed my records back with a letter saying that after his careful consideration, "[my] mother's case" wouldn't stand! He didn't even know who was injured.
$1050 for nothing.

After paying for a consultation with attorney David Baker, he seemed as if he had some knowledge of what I needed from him. Days later I dropped off some documents for him to look over and advise me as a potential client. I haven't heard anything from him since and its been almost a month.I had previously asked him for his honest opinion and his price if he could help me. My opinion is, he isn't committed, passionate, persistent, or honest.If he couldn't help me , all I expected was for him to at least let me know and refer me to someone who possibly could.

If you need a family law attorney run the other way. He came to court unprepared and late. He was late for our case because he was dealing with another case at the same time and day. We had to get most of the paper work for our case and he is just rude and disrespectful to his client. He threaten several times to walk out and let the judge know he was recusing himself. Needless to say he lost the case. All after he had received his money. This man shouldn’t be able to practice law the way he treats his clients.

Our experience with Mr. Harding was informative, but it’s a conversation we could have had over the phone. When I initially called in and explained my husband’s accident I was told by the secretary she spoke to Mr. Harding and he said he would take the case. My husband is wheelchair bound since the accident and we live 3 flights up. So getting him out and in the car to drive to an office that was not wheelchair accessible nor the building just to be told the NC laws and why he can’t take the case was a waist of our time. Once he told us he wouldn’t take our case he rushed to get us out even picked up a phone call while we still had questions as if our time was up. He never lifted his head up to even acknowledge me or my question. We understand because you we were not a win and no money would be won because of the laws here in NC were nothing to you. It was waisted time to sit and fill out paperwork and have to relive the whole nightmare all over again to be told you couldn’t help us. The police report was not even accurate and his secretary pointed out several discrepancies but he never looked at it. This has been a true nightmare and I pray no one has to go through what we have. Got a speeding ticket and paid $500 for him to represent me. My court date was set to november and I have still not heard any update (now january 23rd). I have even reached out on several occasions but get no response. On top of it all I had to complete 32 hours of community service as a first time offender AND $500 not even including court costs. He clearly has no intentions of helping you out and just complies with whatever the court says. I’ll be contacting in the morning to figure out what the hold up is, but I highly recommend GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE

I haven’t ever written a review on anything or anyone in my life.
Mr. Ceruzzi deserves to have some light she’d on the caliber of individual he is. My children were abducted, and removed from the state. This was the result of a highly contentious divorce, spanning over 3 states, foreign custody orders, and enough drama to require weeks for trial prep. I hired Mr. Ceruzzi on a Friday, he represented me on a Monday! He took the time to hear me out, and he’s the first of 4 lawyers in this process that truly cared.
He never mentioned the bias towards men getting custody of children, never uttered one negative outlook on the case, and that’s not a common trait these days.
Mr. Ceruzzi placed my daughters well being above other cases that were more pressing I’m sure! Mr. Ceruzzi is the reason I have full custody of my daughters. He’s the reason they have their own beds to sleep in. He’s the reason I wasn’t forced out of my daughter’s lives.
Words can’t describe how much the acts this man did for my family meant to me.
If you want someone who identifies and is just as passionate as you are about the case at hand... I’d say there is no better option than Mr. Ceruzzi.

My experience dealing with Anthony L. Blalock is that he is very unprofessional. He missed scheduled appointments, failed to complete the necessary contracts on time and failed to appear in court as promised. I would never hire him to represent me or anyone else for that matter.

Mr. Whitley was extremely condescending. Wouldn't even let me in the office. Took one look at me and decided I wasn't a rich client that was worth his time. I explained my situation where I was being lied to, pressured, and intimidated by a car insurance company that was legally liable for damages to my vehicle and were refusing to fix or total my car. He agreed I was in the right and they were behaving illegally but he told me to just threaten them with a lawyer, which I have been doing for two weeks. I said thats why I'm here. He said just keep threatening them and they will cave. Well they called my bluff and he refused to represent me. I needed a lawyer, not an empty threat of one. He wouldn't even call them and pressure them. He had me do it and didn't even say anything. I was already doing that for two weeks. He acted like he didn't believe me. Talked down to me and patronized me. His firm claims to handle cases like mine. Now I'm still out of a vehicle and on the verge of losing my job and apartment and at risk of becoming homeless. There's something wrong with our justice system when insurance companies can just do whatever they want to lower income people and lawyers like this treat them like nothing and refuse to represent them. We have no one on our side to represent us and get justice. I would never recommend this jerk to anyone. Waste of time and humiliating.

In the beginning I didn’t think I needed an attorney, I didn’t want to upset anyone on the outside. I thought the insurance company would take care of me and just let them handle it, but as things progressed, they weren’t following through on some things they should have. I looked for an attorney and found a good one in Bob Whitley. I wanted someone I had a good rapport with. I looked in the yellow pages and called several attorneys, and when I spoke with Bob, he offered to come to my home to meet with me, no others did that. When we met, we had a good rapport and I decided to go with the Whitley Law Firm. Their team is extremely knowledgeable in all the situations of my case, with the Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability and 3rd party claims. The firm walked me through it and told me what to expect and how they were going to handle it. They always returned my calls, usually within an hour. They were very accessible, which was so important to me. Once I hired Bob as my attorney, I knew I was going to be in good hands and he was going to take care of everything I would need for the rest of my life.
