Por favor no contratar estos abogados lo único que hacen es hacerte perder el tiempo ellos agarraron mi caso hace casi dos años pague todo el dinero y en febrero del este año me dijeron que ya avían mandado mi caso después de estar todo un año llamando constantemente para ver si ya habían mandado mi caso por fin me dijeron que si, ellos no saben lo que es comunicacion por que te ignoran por completo.
Se suponía que al principio de febrero ya lo habían mandado, resulta que me moví de estado y les llamo 9 meses después para dejarles saber y pues me dicen que el caso nunca fue mandado y ni siquiera fueron capaz de disculparse o hacer algo al respecto, si van a contratarlos prepárate a estar llamando y que nunca te respondan y lo más posible que pierdan tus documentos oh que nunca los manden a imigracion y lo único que te dicen es que te regresarán la llamada pero nunca lo hacen, ellos solo se enfocan en agarrar muchos casos para agarrar el dinero pero ya teniendo tu caso se olvidan son unos irresponsables, robando dinero y tiempo ala gente, tienes que llamarlos constantemente y nunca responden es un nightmare bregar con esta gente y deberían ser repostados, mi abogada fue EMYLY SWARTZ, y ella no es la única until de todos los abogados que trabajan ahí, mi amiga también los contrato a ellos fue otro abogado que también tuvo una mala experiencia, perdieron todos sus documentos y nunca le respondían el teléfono, y también te cambian de paralegal como el papel que le cambian ala printer cada ves que por fin puedes hablar con ellos prepararte para las mil
Preguntas que te hará cada paralegal que asignan a tu caso , ellos no tienen organización son lo peor, si yo no los hubiera contantado para dejarles saber que me moví nunca ubiera escuchando de ellos lo más seguro ubiera pasado otros años más y ellos se quedaban como si nada, estoy en proceso de someter un complain con el bar association, y estoy segura que a mas gente le ah pasado, repórtenlos no se queden sin hacer nada abogados como esta gente no deberían de estar trabajando, ellos los único que les importa es el dinero, como se pueden dar cuenta tienen anuncios por todos lados que según ellos son muy buenos ayudando la gente en sus casos pero es todo mentira , el dueño se enfoca solo en agarrar casos y hacer anuncios por todos lados que son tantos los casos que tienen que no pueden con tanto

I’ve had a case with my partner going on for almost 2 years. I have absolutely no information however Attorney Basknight has her full payment UPFRONT and we have no case as of yet. I have called her office for the last couple of weeks with no response from her and only loopy receptionists that either are not forwarding the messages or Attorney Basknight has taken our hard earned money for part of her own business expenses moving elsewhere. My partner was told the ‘case would be heard in March 2024’…we are at the end of March 2024 and there is no word of being on the docket the receptionist had absolutely zero notes on my case or IF IN FACT she can actually proceed with the case. I’m at a total loss right now because I trusted highly in her expertise but now without results in 2 years? I just want answers NOW.

Mr. Hagy was recommended to me through a family friend after my daughter and I left a very domestic violent situation. For the entire 10 months of our case, he stayed two steps ahead and went above and beyond to ensure the final ruling of our case went in my favor. Ultimately, I successfully won my case and was granted full custody of my daughter along with child support. I was in a head on collision accident Oct 14, 2020. I reached out to this company based upon reviews. I feel like now I've made an accident by reaching out for help with my case...I found out just today, Mr. Charles is my lawyer. There's been very little to no communication with my case manager. I have expressed that this is my first accident EVER!! I feel so out of the loop!! The investigator/Legal Assistant, Mr. Steve, was very nice and professional; He met me at my house to gather my information & assured me that I've found the right place/ headed in the right direction. Am I in the right direction? Have I found the right group of people to help me? Assist me? I don't know how to rate this Lawyer because I haven't spoken to him. Recommended, I don't know. Hopefully I'll have a chance to meet him throughout the process of my case

I cannot thank Chris Pitera enough for all that he did to honor my mom. He was patient, kind, and steadfast in his pursuit to hold a business accountable for their lack of communication, empathy and actions that lead to my mom’s death. The suffering that she endured the final days of her life due to their negligence continues to haunt me. I don’t know if I can adequately express my appreciation to Chris for holding them accountable. Chris was professional, understanding and thorough in his research as he retraced timelines and actions and took the time needed to ensure that I and my family understood all of the legal language and processes. Much to my dismay, I found myself in need of a divorce attorney 5 years ago. I met with Kenny Murov and realized he was a no nonsense person that took his job seriously. We were able to settle out of court with a very fair settlement. Unfortunately, 5 years later I needed his services again when my ex decided to only meet half of his court ordered financial obligations. This time we had to settle the matter in court. I was extremely nervous since this was my first time in court. After about 10 minutes of opening statements, I realized I had nothing to worry about and this man would go to battle for me. I was most impressed with his knowledge of my case, the research he had done, and his preparedness for court. He was thorough and intense. He missed nothing even after 4 hours of testimony. I had never seen him in court and I was amazed at his knowledge and skill. If you are his client, you will have to feed him the information and probably have a lot of paperwork to provide. But he needs facts in order to do his job. He is a man of integrity that is devoted to his law practice. I was fortunate to have him represent me.

Kenny provides the best service you can find in the Tidewater area. He is an expert in his field, easy to contact and responds quickly. He is courteous and friendly and gives you as much time as you need. When its needed he will give you the advice thats best for you even though occasionally it might be tough to hear it. I got an advertisement letter in the mail among many. I got many quotes but to me I feel like I hit the jackpot with Sidney Kelsey. First, all of the other letters seemed threatening and made me uncomfortable. I called Mr. Kelsey's office because his letter was very genuine, second, he was understanding and realistic about my case. His fees were so reasonable and so I decided to go with him. I wasn't able to make it the first time to court so he got me a continuance. When the date came he got it dismissed and I am such a happy person thanks to him, in my opinion people who complain about their attorneys do not follow their advice, that's what they are there for!

Mr. Connors is affable and quite knowledgeable about the law. His firm is small. Which turned out to be a deficit in my case as he was easily overwhelmed by the “big boys” of opposing counsel’s firm. As a consequence, The legal fees quickly spiraled out of control and greatly exceeded the budget and the end result was not as good as I had hoped.

Mr. Conners was professional, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and highly ethical during my complicated divorce/child support proceedings. His assertive demeanor in the courtroom allowed us to resolve issues quickly. He really understands the complications of an emotional divorce and knows just how the nuances of the law applied to my unique situation, and, as a result, was able to cut off most of the game playing by opposing counsel. I was pulled over and I had my handgun in my glove box. The officer charged me for a concealed weapon. Mr. Stewart had the case dismissed and I was only required to take a driver improvement course for my traffic infraction. He was very professional and courteous. His office personnel were very helpful as well. I felt confident going to court with Mr. Stewart and although I hope to never have to hire him again he will be my lawyer if ever needed.

I would not at all recommend this law group for a worker's compensation case. First of all, when you go in to sign your paperwork have a lawyer with you to make sure that you understand all of the fine print (such as if you go to trial your lawyer no longer is allotted 20%...the court awards them as much as they want which was in my case almost 50% of my award). There were multiple issues with patching together work notes that my lawyer did not catch and because of that I got a few thousand less than what I should have. This law office did NOT do my case justice in any way.

I’m the kind of guy who likes regular updates even if the updates are “nothing new this week”. Having hired another attorney that never returned my calls I decided to go with someone else and so I chose Mr. Goodwin after someone recommended his firm to me. His office and secretary answered every question and concern I had no matter how many there were. Not very informed regarding legal matters myself he and his team were able to put my fears at ease and helped me through the entire process from day one. His firm made an extremely stressful experience a little easier to deal with. I would highly recommend this firm!

If I could leave ZERO stars I would! This attorney who is listed as a bankruptcy lawyer is currently assigned to my mother in laws criminal case. I have been by his office called numerous times and can't get him to go see his client or schedule a bond hearing. He doesn't care about any evidence I have to show him. They ignore my calls now when I call cause other people will call after me and someone miraculously answers after my call isn't. If you want to stay in jail, have no defense at all, then you've found your attorney right here! I have dealt with a few attorneys, paid and court appointed, and this one really takes the cake on being the absolute WORST!

I hired Mike to help me work my way through bankruptcy. That was a traumatic enough event, but he was kind and professional, knows his business and set me straight when needed. Exactly the right person to do the work.
Part of what drove me to bankruptcy was a rather draconian divorce settlement. In Mike's words, "Dude, you were screwed."
After the bankruptcy was in place, my ex-wife decided she wanted to go after "optional" monies from the divorce decree. Because of my financial status, I am not able to comply. Undeterred, she pressed her legal council to attempt several methods to secure this extra bit from me.
Mike has handled all of these in his most professional and efficient manner. He keeps me informed and keeps my interests on top. I am so very lucky to have found him, purely by chance and in a desperate time.

Hampton Roads… this is long overdue and I do apologize, but I do want to say back in 2008, my husband and I, we were in a terrible car accident, on Highway 58 in Virginia, my husband was driving a red car came out in front of us and hasn’t swerve from hitting the right vehicle. The vehicle never stopped and attract. The trailer had hit us a long story short my husband was in a coma. He was air VAC to Sentera hospital and off, and I was also hospitalized for three days. I have no idea how we would’ve gotten out of the situation without the help of George Albiston, Brannon& Gilbert and team! This organization really truly got us back on track help my husband through this ordeal, it also helped me to get my life back on track. Mr.Albiston and his team was a godsend! William walker is horrible. The worst "attorney" if he can even fairly call himself a legit "attorney". He is rude as can be, very dismissive and inconsiderate towards his clients and just informed me without a call back for a week that he has to be taken off of my case for "reasons he can't say". I had to call him to even find that out. About as corrupt and incompetent as can be. If you want real help, avoid this man at all costs.

If you want a lawyer to handle a case where your slammed by a semi truck breaking 7 of your ribs punctured your lung and 22 days in the hospital and this firm and spicficly Don said I promise to take care of you and hold your case for months only when your asking for updates on where my case is he decided to drop my case only for no explanation when I was not driving but the passenger well lessen learned as not only did I filed a complaint against him and others in the firm with the VA board of lawyers as he's already be disaplined by the board this will follow. If I could have given Nicole zero stars, I would have. I have never seen a more one sided attorney in my life. During the most important court case I’ve ever had to deal with (custody), She gave the most inaccurate, opinionated prospectives I’ve ever witnessed. She never viewed ANY of my supporting documents and literally spoke to me for 5 minutes during a custody hearing. That is hardly enough time to make a determination on the rightful guardianship of a child.
I would not hire her to represent my goldfish let alone leave my lively hood in her hands.
Good luck to whoever is forced to have her as court appointed anything.

I have NEVER seen someone so sloppy and unprofessional in the court room. She would blatantly flirt with my ex husband in front of the entire court room. She was supposed to represent my child but was in his back pocket the entire time. She spoke to me for exactly 44 minutes through our entire (months long) process meanwhile she was running to my ex after the court hearings. Offered him a home visit I didn’t get, and blatantly LIED to the courtroom and in her evaluation. She gave all of her reports late and they had absolutely nothing factual, just what she took as truth from my ex husband. This woman is a disgrace and I do not know how she sleeps at night being the vile disgusting excuse of a human that she is. Atty. Matthew J. Weinberg is very dishonest person. He is not true to his words of agreement. He takes advantage of people suffering from serious illness the weak, the helpless, hopeless injured person. He’s low moral and low integrity wicked tricky person. I’m speaking of the truth based on my experience when he fooled me after taking the upfront flat fees he demanded he didn’t comply with our agreement to show me the documents first to read before submitting but he didn’t do it. Our agreement to help me prepare the Brief of Appellant on my name. Our agreement that he will not represent me, the job is to help me prepare the documents and that I still represent myself. But he trick me by submitting the documents without presenting to me to read the prepared document After he submitted the documents . He just told me I’m sorry I will not do it again and it will not happen again, he said the next time I will call you when it’s done for you to read the document but he failed and didn’t do as what he said. He submitted the second documents without presenting with me reading it first. I suffered so much stress and depression from his wrongdoings and for what he did resulting for me to have breast cancer because of the wrongdoings he had done taking advantage of my very weak condition because of my severe injury. Mr. Matthew is a liar and untrue person. This testimony is true without malice and without prejudice. I am hoping that the right government department will make investigations and punish this kind of Lawyer for abusive behavior and wrongdoings.

First, let me start by saying that the I hired this attorney to assist me with a speeding ticket in Dinwiddle, VA. John stated that he was confident that he could get the ticket dismissed, but after going to court told me that he could not get the ticket dismissed only reduced. I only spoke with John a few times, and I didn't feel I had been thoroughly informed of the status of my case. I was required to take an online driving school class, at which time I submitted my certificate of completion to John's office and never heard back from them again. I also had an awkward experience in calling his office and speaking with an extremely unprofessional staff member who swore she spoke with me before on some random issue, and was quite irate. Based on my experiences, I would pay more money and get better service.
