Steven jumped right into the mess I had made after filing for child support and full custody by myself. The dad had never been around and wanted full custody now that I was making my full custody legal on paper. Steven picked up where I left off and really explained everything to me and made me feel alot more confident. We won our case in court thanks to him. I now sleep much better at night knowing that everything is legally set. Thanks a million!

This attorney did not help me thoroughly with my battle against mother. Even tho mother was in contempt for many things and I wanted to obtain full decision making. Mr. Sufrin made me settle to agreements with opposing party when he could of potentially gone to trial and fight for what was right for this case. Now mother is back in contempt of other things when this could attorney could of performed better. I ended paying Mr. Sufrin more than 4 grand for a lousy settlement. DO NOT HIRE HIM.

Mr. Sufrin was knowledgeable, understanding, and patient in his handling of my divorce and related matters. Through every challenge my court case brought, he was always there for me. During what was surely the worse time of my life, Mr. Sufrin brought compassion and professionalism to the task at hand and I achieved the results that were best for my children and myself.

Dawn took care of my every need. She is very professional and gets the job done. She was able to get me the exact time I wanted with my children. In addition she was able to get me exactly what I wanted with assets, child support, etc. I would recommend Dawn to anyone that is going through a nasty divorce. I hired dawn for child custody reasons. I called her with my concerns and it took her a week to get back to me and it wasn’t even her it was her assistant. I had to make a phone appointment to even talk to her about my concerns and why I needed a lawyer to help me. They take forever to answer emails and phone calls. Every email you get from dawn she charges you for. I didn’t like the way she handled my case at all. A lot of mistakes in letters. Very unprofessional. I told her I don’t feel like she is representing me and I feel like she wasn’t on my side which is what I hired her for. She tells me that she’s not that kind of lawyer. She is on both sides. She doesn’t take one side. She listens to both sides. And helps both sides. I thought if I hire a lawyer I pay them to represent me and me only. Not my ex as well. She failed to tell me this when I hired her. Not personal at all and not willing to help you with your concerns. Not happy with this lawyer at all.

I first started with a document preperation company but talks broke down and the delays started. Kyle got me on track with a direction to get the divorce finished. I felt comfortable and always felt he and Lyndsey had my best interest in mind. He was always availible for me and Lyndsey was on top of all the document preperation and communication with me. I have used the services of Rich Peters and his colleagues for approximately 18 years. He has (1) secured my legal separation and 18 years later the dissolution of the marriage; (2) successfully defended my stepdaughter in a child custody dispute; and (3) set up a legal guardianship for our granddaughter. In all of these cases, he delivered the results that I expected with professionalism and care. He is a good communicator who gave sound legal advice and explanations of what to expect in the execution of these cases. rich peters and his team never fought for me or my family - in fact they were supposed to register a family court order in arizona and never did but still kept collecting my money while arizona NEVER had jurisdiction- a couple of attorneys failed to keep my family safe but the last one Sophia realllllly messed up by not adequately protecting my address from my abuser and stalker - an address that was never meant to be handed over to him - she allowed the judge to mistreat me and did not represent me at all. i even told her things were not being handled properly and she assured me she could do better - she did not. Rich peters has ignored my emails for MONTHS now but still has no problem demanding payment - a payment i will never send - i believe i am owed my money back in FULL - now that you are back in the country mr peters i do expect a reply

My husband and I retained Carissa to represent us in the case against his ex-wife and while the retainer was on the expensive side, we do not regret it. Carissa is a fabulous attorney and she is amazing at what she does. You can tell she loves her job and really cares about her clients and their families. She was honest with us and told us the "not so ugly truth" sometimes but that is what makes a great attorney. She kept us in the loop and returned our calls and emails (but also did not waste attorney time on unnecessary phone time). Some may say that she (or her law office) is expensive but you get what you pay for. And it was money WELL spent. I would recommend her and Jaburg Wilk to everyone and I have recommended her to friends, just as she was recommended to us by a friend.

Carissa was recommended to me by a friend. I had never been in court before and the opposing Attorney was pretty vicious. Carissa told me not to get upset, that everything would work out ok for me and that I had a good case. Well she was right all along. Carissa was very fair and straightforward with me regarding all the issues and was very professional and courteous. I couldn't have picked a better attorney.

One star is over rating this firm. Do not hire anyone at this firm. Look elsewhere!! Very shady attorney and you will find fees on invoices that are ludicrous. Very slow to communicate but yet good at numerous invoicing and charging for things you never requested and that were never filed to the courts.

Tom saved my life and protected myself and my child. HE IS THE BEST! It was my first time fighting in court. I was scared and lost. Tom gave good support and straight forward directions. The only thing I had a problem with is his response time back to me sometimes. Later learning it was my impatience. Also to save me money and both of us from nonsense time. Due to me over asking questions stemming from fear and anxiety. Questions that were answered in dew time. We were up against another tough lawyer. Tom stood strong, tough, firm, honest and confident. When I thought Tom was quiet in his responses to me. He truly was hearing me. When it came to time in court. Those little concerns were blasted right back at apposing council. Ammo I didn't even expect due to my naiveness. He fought toughly for me 100%. I received everything I was asking for, with a few compromises. He worked with me on payments that I could afford. I had Tom to represent my case during my complicated divorce and child custody. My case lasted longer than expected. He explained to me the family law clearly and he understood my situation. As I went through my divorce, I had tendencies to become subjective and wished the law could grant everything I desired. Tom was very objective in discussing to me what is possible and not possible according to the law. I went through with the process of my divorce not with a very clear understanding of what I can have and what I can not have and Tom was always there to explain to me whys of the process. He was very clear to explain to me that there was no guarantee that I will get what I wanted but the guarantee was he would do his best to get me and my son what is fair and he DID. My divorce and my child custody was done and I did not get what I wanted but I did have what is fair. I also had a clear understanding of why things work that way because Tom had educated me along the process. During the process, I also felt that I had somebody who truly care and would always be there to defend me and my son from the abuses. In the manner of communication, we did everything through email and only very minimal phone calls. However, I never felt that Tom and Tawsha missed to communicate with me. There was always an effective communication and when I was confused, I just sent an email and even if he was in vacation, I always got the answers from Tom or from his paralegal. I am forever grateful to Tom and Tawsha for guiding, educating and walking me through that very difficult and complicated process. I highly recommend Tom because he is the type of a lawyer who is very straight forward and realistic about his cases.

Thomas Alongi is a complete professional who is brilliant in his understanding and interpretation of family law. I came to him in a desperate state where a previous attorney had completely botched my case by untimely filings. My first encounter with Tom’s firm was a very compassionate and understanding conversation with his assistant/paralegal Tawsha.
My case was complicated . I hired The Alongi firm at the eleventh hour. Tom was able to dissect and reconstruct years of information and get positive results in a short week. He kept me and my children safe from domestic violence and completely turned my nightmare situation into the results I desired. He and his staff have a deep and profound understanding of domestic violence and the Law.

Michael Delgado was my attorney for a child support modification case. I am more than happy with him, his professionalism and his skills. He got me a result better than what I had hoped for. Michael communicated throughout the entire process so I always knew what was going on with my case. Ms. Tsakanikas handled my matter which was years old with a file size that was ridiculous. Thousand of dollars I spent over a decade past in legal fees with NO results the matter went into a holding pattern till my son was becoming age 18. Now with the matter having been moved to Pima county from Gila by the other party and seeking FINAL closure Ms. Tsakanikas took on something that is more unbelievable than a fiction novel. Anyhow in standard fashion from years before the selected opposing councel (Guy Keenan esq) was anything but cooperative. This I had become use to as any attorney the other party retained it was with instruction to NOT GIVE and INCH.
Anyhow the final outcome was something I am satisfied with as I was not over billed (as has happened with other attorneys). Ms. Tsakanikas KNEW the family law pertinent to my matter which was a BIG plus compared to what opposing counsel was attempting. Thus final score I win, they loose. The only one really paying the absolute price here was my son, Mom kept him away from me and that time can never be replaced.

I acquired Joe for family services. I was divorced already with a child. The other party kept refusing to do what was ordered by the judge so needless to say the outcome was beneficial for me.
I did not only use Joe for the family circumstances. Without his expertise I can honestly say, I would have been given a harsher outcome. Comparing what I was sentenced to what it could have been it blows my mind.

My response: I understand what you are saying. I understand how the law works. My review is based on morals and common respect, in which I felt lacked from Dori. While her team was friendly, she could not act the least bit interested in anything not pertaining to her. The amount of money she “took” and how minimum she did, …..or rather didn’t do—-made it impossible to ignore the injustice. It also made me see how easy representing yourself is, which I did -& won. So for this is the sole reason, I stand with my review. Thank you for replying.

Carrie Cravatta is unethical, lazy, will show up to appointments unprepared, cares more about discussing her vacations (European vacations, cruises) than discussing your case. She will take your money, tell you all the things she will do, ultimately not doing them leaving you wondering what it is she did. Run away, this woman is a wrecking ball and will make your life worse off.
Follow up. Per the request of Carrie’s partners I reached out to discuss my concerns and the basis for my negative review. We spoke for roughly an hour and a half (lots to discuss!) That was weeks ago we spoke, appears the call was nothing more than a dog and pony show, I have heard nothing further, this law group likely continues their unethical, lazy, criminal like activities. Carrie’s partners should fire her so they don’t wreck what the partners are building, it shows a lot about this group that she is still employed and a partner.

Over a protracted and difficult period of time, Danette proved to provide rock solid advice, advance legal strategy, and valuable and fair feedback. After researching the majority of lawyers available that practiced family law in Tucson, I selected Danette based on numerous factors. She had case specific experience in areas involving behaviors of questionable legal standing by opposing counsel and their client, as well as complex support through a religious organization geared solely towards extracting monies for the benefit of their group. Essentially, Danette had odds stacked against her. She successfully maneuvered the case through the system, with patience and care, all while managing expectations in a clear and concise manner. The outcome was favorable. I’m grateful for her help, and very satisfied with her capabilities and professionalism.

Ms. Pahl was my opposing attorney. I initially consulted her on my ex husbands behalf. Eventually I hired my own attorney. She frequently came to court unprepared and requested numerous continuances causing the divorce to run nearly five years. What was most disconcerting is that she lied three times to the Judge while the evidence countering her claims were part of the exhibits. She has a knack for changing course which led to more new pleas, continuances and then later she would remove said requests. Her peers describe her tactics as "throwing everything against the wall, right or wrong, then seeing what sticks". Her services will cost a lot of money with very little results.

I have worked with Danette for many years (sadly), first for my divorce, and then for ongoing child custody issues with a difficult Ex. Danette has been extraordinarily professional and has guided me through the maze of family law. Glenn worked with me to help get custody of my children. He discussed all aspects of the case and made sure I knew everything that could and couldn’t happen. Was his rate higher than some other lawyers? Sure-but he fought for me twice as hard as my other lawyers had in the past. I promise, his value far exceeds his rate. Hire him. You won’t regret it. And I am saying that after my case did not go the way I wish it had.

I have used Glenn for a few years ... yes, years.
I am a single father to an only child and my ex and I have equal custody; but as these things go, as she has aged and life has become more about power and control (and gasp, money), I found myself increasingly defending myself against frivolous claims ... not wanting to lawyer-up for simple paperwork, I'd prepare all of my own documents and then use the one-hour consulting offer from Glenn to make sure I wasn't going to make a bad mistake.
After a couple of years, and dealing with an onslaught of legal filings, I bit the bullet and decided to go the "retainer" route with Glenn and his practice ... figured it was worth the cost to make all of the aggravation and emotions someone else's problem.
It was well worth it as I was able to relax knowing I had someone very professional, experienced and competent taking care of everything for me ... I can't say I "won" but I certainly didn't lose and my life (and my child's) are so much better with all of this behind us ... and all of this is because I trusted Glenn and his firm.
We have two more years until my child turns 18, and while I hope I never have to see Glenn again, I won't hesitate retaining him again if ever I find the need!

Has a "Badass Rep", she will act like she is tough & there to fight for you. That is a very overcharged ACT. She will definitely charge you a ton, and do NOTHING for the money. "Trial Fee", does not mean Trial either, and if you did do a trial & the doc then you would be in for 10,000 of thousands more for her to do little to nothing. If you want to pay an attorney to work hard for the other team, this is definitely your person. If you want to pay out the rear to ensure that you get treated like dirt, no communication, & even less empathy in a terrible situation, this is your person. If you want a manipulative human that only wants to demand what she believes, & not listen to what you want or what you desire & not stand up for you in anyway, this is your person. She is not at all timely with her responses, they can go for days or weeks without answer. She will not show for meetings that have been scheduled, and not give a reason. You will not be addressed until approximately 3 days before any of your trials or hearings, & then at that time you will be overwhelmed & rushed to get the information that is needed. Heaven help you if you don't have the additional funds, even if you have to sell your soul you better come up with the money, or else, her unqualified skills will become even less helpful to you. This lawyer ensured that walking through Hell was every bit of how it should be, the worst, and ensured you got absolutely nothing for your efforts in your family. Don't bother with the auto response, it would amount to anything anyway.

At first Michael Miller seemed to be caring, a good listener, and very reassuring about what needed to be done for what should have been a simple divorce. Unfortunately that didn't last long and after that it was very hard to find out what was going on with my divorce. I would ask questions and receive very short texts with legalized terms that I didn't understand...so of course following up with more questions cost more money. The final straw was when I found out from my ex husband that the divorce was finalized 5 days prior. When I contacted the office about this the response was almost like "oops." So if you're looking for someone who doesn't communicate and not proactive about keeping you informed about your divorce, Michael Miller is your guy.

In my honest opinion there couldn’t be a better attorney for high risk custody cases. I needed an aggressive and articulate litigator and Mr. Miller provided me with the legal protection I needed in order to feel fully protected. Do not know what else to say. Went through an approximately 3 year adoption/custody battle. Amy was not the only lawyer I met with prior to hiring her. Once I met her I knew she was the one to hire. At all times during this case, she was professional, expedient, and supportive. The opposing counsel tried everything possible with tons of motions. I hired Amy after my now ex-husband filed for divorce, based on a reference from a friend of mine who is also an attorney. My ex-husband was extremely difficult throughout the entire process, causing me great anxiety, but Amy exhibited a great deal of professionalism throughout the entire process. While many attorneys would get frustrated and prefer to tell you what to do, Amy was great at listening to my concerns & questions and even had feedback when I had suggestions in my case. She has been handling these types of cases for quite some time and her ability to understand idiosyncrasies in the other party was key in the settlement of my case, which was in my favor.

I'm not sure what the negative reviews on this site are about, but I have had Mrs. Olthouse Duenas as a lawyer on my family law case for the last 2 years. My ex is constantly cooking up one excuse or another to drag us back to court, and Amy is always quickly prepared to counter his argument. I have recommended several friends to her, and will continue to do so. She has been equally as professional, prepared and exceptional for the work done for them.
Amy's fees are in line with any attorney worth your time. If you are looking for bargain basement representation, prepared to get bargain basement results. Anytime I have had a question or needed clarification about an upcoming hearing or document from the court, I have received a timely response from both Amy and her staff.
You will do well to hire her for any family law case.

Attorney Karen Schoenau at Guymon Law has done a great job in my family case. Her knowledge, relationships, and abilities were all on display in my hotly contested matter. She has been responsive to email, phone and when needed, in-person meetings. I especially enjoy her hearing and trial abilities. Most attorneys are good at writing pleadings and negotiating issues but it takes a special lawyer who can win at hearings. Her support staff is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend her and her firm.

Samantha Sue Elledge was the worst thing to happen to my emergency custody case. She was appointed by our judge. Elledge told my children they were lying about physical abuse by their father even though he was convicted of the exact crimes they told her about. She told our judge that dad should have unsupervised visitation even with DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ASSAULT CONVICTIONS FOR HITTING MY CHILDREN. This goes against Arizona state statute. We are currently in court AGAIN less than 2 years because he held my children hostage and caused $1100 in property damage and is charged with MORE domestic violence. All because Samantha Sue Elledge called myself and my children liars. You do not want her on your case if there is domestic violence involved. What a disgrace to everyone involved.

Amy, Ms. Elledge did the same to me as a court ordered best interest attorney. I also have audio as well as emails of her helping my ex to make him appear better to the judge to take our child over proven false accusations and ignoring my ex lost custody because he abused our child when he was you younger. Please text me at 480-672-4489. Two people are better than one that have proof of who she really is. Also, Ms Elledge removes negative reviws to appear better than she is. I have screenshots of those but all were anonymous. So there are at minimum of at lease 10 others whom she has lied etc. All were women. I hired Joy for a custody case with my ex husband, she was extremely unprofessional both with me and him. She milked the retainer and charged me enormous fees for miscellaneous items and "copies" and would want to call me in to discuss my case only to talk about herself half the time and have me repeat myself with information multiple times so she can charge me $250 and hour for consulting. I did not feel like she cared about the best interest of my children or me but was only trying to make the most money from our case.

Joy gave my spouse half truths throughout her representation, causing more animosity than necessary. She would not reply in a timely manner to cancel trials, therefore opposing counsel would devote a week or more in trial preparation. Accordingly, this tactic would raise attorney fees for opposing counsel and gave her access to opposing counsel's exhibits which Joy never filed. She would miss the exhibit deadlines. Joy would not give any indication she was canceling a trial and still never provided exhibits . I did not consult with her, but I had to choose "consulted" to submit this. If you would prefer an attorney that does not give you the full truth and charge you hourly, she's your person.
