I foolish had signed a postnuptial that could have ruined me financially. I had consulted with another lawyer and was told there was nothing that could be done. I was absolutely devastated!! I then met with Andy later that day. He looked over the postnuptial and found so many loop holes. I knew I had found the lawyer I needed for my divorce.
He is so incredibly knowledgeable, competent, trustworthy, takes the high road on issues. Even though he has been a lawyer for 23 years, he still has that intense drive and dedication to make things right for his clients.
Andy didn't make me feel like a fool for signing this awful postnuptial. There was a lot of intense emotions I had and he was kind and thoughtful in his responses to me. His goal was to save me financially and that's exactly what he did.

I hired Brooke after having two other attorneys. Brooke is extremely knowledgeable about family law and absolutely tenacious in pursuit of the best interest of the children and me. She is incredibly insightful as to the reality of what is going on in my case. She reads between the lines and is right on the money. She is quick, smart and incredibly talented.
Brooke is one part of a team. The office of Alexander and Ewert is an amazing duo. These two offset each other perfectly. Might possibly be the best team in town.

I met with Brooke because she came highly recommended by a friend. I was very impressed. She clearly explained the process and where the concerns were in my case. After I hired her, we went to temporary orders because I needed maintenance ASAP. She was fully prepared. My testimony was clear and well thought out to address all of my needs. My ex's lawyer was not nearly as prepared, and when Brooke got to ask my ex question, she did such a good job of showing his lies to the court. I don't have the words to express my gratitude for Olivia Larson and all she has done for my family. My case was extremely complicated as it had both civil and criminal accusations. I knew I was innocent and the accusations against me were an attempt to muddy the water and gain an advantage in the civil case. With Olivia's help, I was able to win against the criminal accusations and hold my accusers accountable. The civil case lasted over a year due to Covid and court procedure. Miss Gomolson worked on my case for 4 years, I didn't know a divorce and custody battle could last as long or get as ugly as it did. Miss Gomolson operates on a strict policy of sticking to the truth and not swaying even a little bit away from it.
My Case involved just about anything you can think of from child neglect, child abuse , drug abuse and mental health issues. Kate also had to deal with a ton of false accusations throughout the entire process not only did she take them on she proved each and everyone of them out to be false discrediting the petitioner every single time. Miss Gomolson filed motions only as needed always trying to keep my finances in mind. The petitioner in our case had a total of 4 lawyers and we had a total of 6 judges throughout the process making Kates job very hard and frustrating. Kate never seemed rattled and took every lawyer and judge on as if it was a normal thing, with all the judge and lawyer changes it seemed like we were starting over at every court appearance having to bring everyone back up to speed. Divorce is an ugly thing and I do not want to go through it again but if I do Kate would be my only choice of attorney. Throughout the custody battle Kate was able to get my children out of danger and in to my custody. Not only did she get me full custody she got me in to the proper therapy and made some really good recommendations to help me through the tough times. Miss Gomolson is a stand up lawyer and I would recommend her to anyone.

I retained Zach as my attorney as I was in a custody battle after my divorce. I had been going it alone for about six months and although I felt I had a good case, there is always the "what if" Many factors regarding my case brought me to Zach. I had relocated to another state, had a new job, paperwork to locate and file, many things had to be addressed and considered. It was overwhelming.
From the moment I made the decision to get help, I knew that Zach was the attorney to represent me. The initial conversations we had by phone were comfortable and productive. The fact that I was 1400 miles away and that I was placing my children's future and well being in someone's hands was scary at first but Zach, I felt, was the one that could get it done for me.
The biggest concern I had was that I had given him less than 3 months to prepare. In that short amount of time he compiled all the documents, filed all the paperwork, conducted the interviews with the witnesses. He did that and so much more. When we entered the courtroom I was confident and WE were prepared. In court Zach was direct, to the point and was able to "paint the picture" for the Magistrate. He asked the right questions of every witness called to the stand and when the proceeding was complete there was no "what if" left in my mind.
When the court made their decision and I received the call from Zach that we had won, I knew I had made the right call. I cannot express enough my gratitude, nor the respect I have for Zach. I put my trust in him and he delivered. I could not be more pleased.

Kevin Major is a fantastic person and it translates into his work as a lawyer. When I needed the services of a lawyer, I searched and interviewed many potential candidates. I didn't have a lot of money and I didn't want to hire somebody who was an unfeeling, cutthroat lawyer. Although I didn't want to have to go through the particular situation I was in, I also wasn't interested in destroying the other party. Kevin's approach to my case was exactly the same as mine, and that's why I hired him. In a court system that doesn't always make much sense, filled with sharks and others who want to do you wrong, Kevin rises above the fray and gives a person reason to continue believing in the system. Against ridiculous odds, the outcome of my case was more favorable to me than I could have imagined -- I attribute that to some kind of good karma based on his common sense approach and desire to seek-out right from wrong without wanting to inflict undue harm on any parties. Heather is very excellent in what she does! In my previous case she got me alimony, child support and the parenting plan that I had purposed. She is very organized and just knows exactly what to say and do at the right times. There were a lot of things that I would have never thought of looking into like my ex-husbands income and she was on top of it and she ended up finding out that he was not disclosing all of his income. She made sure that I submitted everything timely and was great at communicating with me at all times. She ensured that in regards to a house that he was living in that he was ordered to refinance in his own name or short sale it and the vehicle he had that he was to refinance in his own name. I was also awarded half of his 401k, stocks and retirement that he had. Heather is an excellent lawyer and I would recommend her to anyone going through this.

I was in a very difficult divorce where I had just lost jurisdiction. Thus, the case was going to be handled in Colorado, rather than Virginia, where I live. My attorney in Virginia was incredibly bad, and I wasted a lot of money on that short case alone (I shouldn't have lost).
I was referred to Greg by a colleague of my father's from another state. I am incredibly grateful that I found Greg. One would assume that having a divorce attorney located literally across the country would be frustrating. It was not, in any way. The distance could have been a mile, and it would not have been any different. He not only kept me constantly informed, but he was also incredibly accessible. While most attorneys are available during business hours, or by phone and email, Greg was even accessible via text. Who does that?! Thus, if I had an emergency, or quick advice, he was swift to answer. And it's not like he was charging me for every little bit of communication. He was honest, and he was good.
Greg listened to my concerns and reviewed the case honestly. He didn't pull punches, and he was always candid with me about the likelihood of winning. He kept me even keeled, gave me excellent advice, and above all, he was wise in everything he did. Wisdom is an extremely rare trait to have. He has it in abundance. It's not knowledge. It's not smarts. It's different.
In the end, I won! It's difficult enough being a male in a divorce/custody case. It's even more difficult when you're in the military and live in Virginia. But I won. And while some things dropped in our laps, I owe my win to Greg. I am forever grateful to him.

I hired Lauren to coach me for a hearing regarding a very contentious ordeal involving a parenting plan modification and other issues. Lauren's services are fairly priced and the information and advice she gave me was honest and accurate. She is also very personable and easy to talk to. I was able to go into the hearing and hold my own. The outcome was in line with what she told me to expect, and I believe that had I not had prior coaching it would have gone terribly wrong as family law and procedures in court are complicated. After going through an insurance settlement case and the stress of that, I then had the treat of going through a divorce soon afterwards. Oh, I also lost my car, businesses and house right around that time too. I was referred to Marcy by a friend who said she was known to be a "bulldog" in the courtroom. After meeting with her to assess if we were a good match or not, I had a very good feeling about her. My X husband and his attorney went to the extra lengths of deposing me for a divorce amongst other ridiculous steps to come to an agreement. Marcy was always more than prepared for every step of the way. The culminating moment of my divorce court date was entertaining as she made my husbands team look like the Three Stooges. She knows divorce law where my X's attorney had just changed over from ambulance chasing to suddenly "help women" in divorce as his website says. By the way, I would strongly advise not using Robert Biondino as instead of preparing for his client, instead, he yelled and screamed in the courtroom. It was like he thought he was in a wrestling match instead of a court of law.
Regardless, Marcy was professional, compassionate, fair in her pricing and yes, a "Bulldog" in the courtroom. Because of these attributes, this traumatic experience is behind me while my X is still paying up! I strongly recommend Marcy and her team!
