A coworker that knew I needed a divorce attorney recommended Jan in 2007. I'm Asian and at the time spoke limited English. She patiently listened to my story and assured me that she could help. I suggested having a translator for the court room but Jan told me that she understood me well and that together we would present the case. She turned an impossible situation into a very good settlement for me and my children.
Since then I think of Jan as a friend I can reach out to for any legal needs including my will, healthcare and durable powers of attorney.

Mr. Gonzalez and his team were incredibly easy to work with. They handled my case with care and attention, and treated me like family the entire time. They were more than happy to answer questions, explain things in a way I could easily understand, and to provide updates as everything progressed. I had a great experience with Roland Barbosa representing me in my divorce. It's never a pleasant experience to go through the legal process of divorce, but Roland made it simple and straightforward and provided numerous updates (and answers to my several questions) as I waited for the (long and slow) Dallas County courts to sign the paperwork that had been sitting on their docket for over 2 weeks. An uncontested, amicable divorce should be easy, and despite the draconian Texas laws, Roland helped make the process as easy as it could be. When the divorce decree was finally signed, he gave me an update even before the electronic system registered a change in the case. His fee is straightforward, and he provided all the paperwork we needed for all the potential steps in the case, from initial questionnaire to final filing and special warranty deed for the transfer of the home. I would highly recommend Roland to anyone seeking a streamlined process to divorce in the DFW area.

My wife and I retained Ms. Goldman to help us in obtaining guardianship (aka Conservatorship) of our godson. It was a very detailed and unusual case, involving coordination with Juvenile Justice and serving papers to a very unwilling party. Absolutely fantastic to work with ! Through keeping my ex-wife‘s attorney in check as well as always being on the attack in the courtroom Yive fought for my rights as well as my child’s continuously. After doing coparenting class and social study we were able to ensure my child’s stability and safety living with me primarily in ensuring that he was not anywhere near the violence that was taking place at the other household . And that is very hard to do As the father. If you are looking for someone that’s going to take your back and fight for what’s right definitely give her a call specially if you are a father looking to maintain your rights. Divorces and custody battles are not easy and are stressful, you want to use the best attorney out there to have your side and in my personal opinion there is no better attorney in the DFW area.

Brook was an amazing consultant in our legal matters regarding a minor in our household. She fought fairly but stood by us and up for us during the entire process. There are few attorneys who would jump in their car and drive 3 hours because they have to file in a court and want to make sure it gets hand delivered and signed. There are even fewer who would make the drive multiple more times for the sake of getting the matter handled quickly and efficiently. The most fair you could ask for in regards to her billing practices and her response time could not be beat. It is clear she is very sought after and busy but she makes you feel like you are her only client. I would highly recommend Brook to anyone needing legal assistance in the field of family matters.

I had my consultation with Stephen today and I hung up the phone feeling empowered and confident. He went above and beyond to help me and wasn't just looking to make money. I was served Habeas Corpus documents on Friday evening and ordered to be in court Monday at 3p. to the mess that my case had become: my daughter's life back, free from
a downward spiral of rulings that never should have been put in place.
Ms. Bennett and the firm of Orsinger, Nelson, Downing and Anderson picked up
my case at a time that i was certain that all I could hope for was a "not as bad as the worst",
but was still a horrible disruption to my daughter's life, as well as my entire family's;
essentially hopeless due to a series of events that i would have never imagined
to be possible for me as a single parent that had raised my daughter for her
entire life of 9 years without incident.
I found myself to be in a position of being about to lose half of my time with my daughter,
half of our holidays, and almost all of the peace in our lives. I even made the
mistake of signing an agreement to try to "minimize the damage", out of desperation
and not knowing what else to do. I had given up, because it could only get worse, it
seemed.
Ms. Bennett took on my case even though she was extremely busy, because she did
something a lot of attorneys don't seem to do: she cared. She told me that she
thought there was a solution to my case, when no one else was able to see or find
the answer. Her knowledge of family law was immediately obvious, and she knew
how to approach my case, even though several rulings were on the books, and
the agreement had been signed through a mediator.
Not only did Ms. Bennett know what to do, but her confidence and skill shone
brightly in all that she did, and she was able to resolve my case quickly and with a
finality that I thought i would never see, and for which I can never be
grateful enough.

I met with Jere a few months ago, in a simple consultation, and he was fantastic. My experience with attorneys has not always been good. In going through my divorce I had to fire my first attorney because she failed to meet deadlines and didn't have the acuity to grasp the intricacies of my case. My case was complex, involved the control of a business and we were facing unscrupulous opposition who had no problem perjuring themselves multiple times.
Once I hired Ben things changed. Billing was honest and reasonable. Ben handled himself well in multiple hearings against a barrage of misinformation.
I wish Ben had been the first attorney I hired. It would have saved me a lot of money. Ben was able to grasp the right legal argument at the right time in order show the judge the information and the precedents that would guide his decisions.
My divorce is now final. I kept control of the business and reached an acceptable settlement. The settlement became possible only because opposing counsel was not successful in selling their position to the judge.
Opposing counsel told my X to settle because she wasn't going to trial. It was a long drawn out process because what opposing counsel was asking for was not reasonable and they were distorting the facts.
Part of opposing counsels strategy was to cause me so much financial pain I would pay anything to stop the bleeding. It was only through Ben's competence and integrity that I was able to survive the process.
I give Ben my highest recommendation that is backed up with the war stories to prove his legal skills.
