Divorce is a very difficult time in ones life. Janice was referred to me and I'm so happy I contacted her. My divorce was difficult in that my ex. is very controlling (Narcissist) and wanted to play mind games. He stalled at every stage. Janice was always there to calm me down and tell me she'll "take care of it" she didn't take his nonsense and called his lawyer out, reminding them of the law. I got in touch with Attorney Ray based on his reviews and that little voice inside us all. I had a very ugly divorce that most other attorneys were afraid to take on, Attorney Ray went to work and got my ugly divorce done in short order, against a tough opposing attorney. I interviewed several lawyers and all were great, however what set Shana apart from the rest is she understood my case and fears and showed she wanted to help me protect my children. She knew that my children were my priority and she never lost sight of that.
Together we accomplished my goal at 110%. Her team she has behind her is responsive and very well orginized and never delayed a filing or delivery of documents to me and communicated the opposing sides responses to me immediatly.
I filded just before covid lock down of 12/2019 so this took a bit longer than she had said it would--court being shut down, this was not something she could foresee, regardless we still worked on bulding our case and getting all documents shared--she used the time of shut down to orginize and stratigize my case.
When I felt like it wasnt going well, she assured me of the process and that we were on target.
Trust her and the process!! It might take a bit longer than you want--but when there are children and assets involved it takes a lawyer who is calm and expirenced--Thats Shana!!

Shana Vitek ad. her team represented me in finalizing my divorce. Due to Covid, the Cook County courts appearances were all conducted via Zoom.
Shana was diligent, thorough, and persistent in getting through the frustrating process of working with the court system via Zoom Calls. Divorce is painful and emotional and if you're like me, you don't know much about the process and don't really have the headspace to learn all about it while it is happening to you...Ron's parting words at my first consult with him were, "The best thing you can do is pretend like you are asleep for the next 6-12 months and let me handle things." Those words were so true. I didn't always want to listen to them, but being 5 months post divorce and still dealing with some issues with opposing parties not living up to the terms of the MSA, Ron is still in my corner. I don't think I realized how good he and his team are until recently. Discussing my agreement with divorcees has shown me that Ron helped me reach a fair deal that allows me to move on in life with confidence and financial stability and do the right thing for my children and he kept emotion out of it which is so important in negotiation for separating assets and in my case a lot of liabilities.
I would absolutely recommend Mr. Bell and his team to anyone in need of advice and guidance and council during the process of divorce.

I hired Floyd to handle a divorce case and he likes to shuffle papers and over bill.
I feel he is unorganized because weeks I would go by and I wouldn’t hear anything. Finally I will send an email to inquire about my case then I was flooded with emails that were sent to him weeks ago. I finally fired him because he was taking my money. The next step will be a complaint with the ARDC.

I had the privilege of working with Mr. Brian Hurst and his partner, Ms. Olga Allen, for the past eight years. I hired them to handle a very contentious divorce, and it was the best decision I ever made. After experiencing frustration with two ineffective and non-transparent lawyers, working with Olga and Brian restored my faith that lawyers can be trusted, compassionate, and genuinely committed to their clients' best interests rather than financial gain.
Ms. Allen carefully prepared the documents for our numerous court appearances, while Mr. Hurst presented and litigated the case. Their work was exemplary—organized, thorough, and meticulously detailed. Mr. Hurst's presentations to the judges (even through several changes) were clear, data-driven, convincing, eloquent, and highly effective.
When the first court decision was appealed by the opposing side, Mr. Hurst and Ms. Allen once again collected relevant facts, prepared detailed written presentations, and engaged in skillful court negotiations, resulting in a favorable judgment from the Appeal Court. Denis Gravel and his team have helped me through a very stressful and dreadful custody case. Mr. Gravel is a great and experienced lawyer who knows family law well. Jim worked through my difficult divorce which took a few years to complete because my ex moved out of state and was hiding assets, missing appointments, etc. Even with every hurdle my ex and opposing attorney's threw at him, he remained professional and kept me informed all along the way. I came out of the situation ahead, with dignity, the majority of the property, and primary custodial custody of the children.
When the new girl figures my ex out, I can make a recommendation.

Reem Odeh helped my parent get a green card after a long visa overstay. When we were about half way through the process, we encountered a really difficult pothole and had to consider the fact that my parent would not be eligible for her card. Reem personally intervened, performed some miracle work with a letter she wrote to the USCIS, and we received the green card yesterday. The process took about 9-10 months.
We are absolutely grateful for all the work that Reem and her office put in for us. I strongly recommend her for anyone requiring help in immigration, because if anyone could help you, it will 1000% be her. She is so empathetic and cares about individuals, not the numbers.

I was represented by Justin in my divorce proceeding and found him to be friendly, funny and helpful. Despite paying more than I thought I would, I kept my pension, and essentially received full custody of my 4 minor children despite being married for 24 yrs. I'm not saying or trying to mislead anyone to believe that I got out unscathed but keeping a pension and getting custody of your children is not very common.
Justin litigated my divorce as well as he possibly could under the circumstances and I would highly recommend his law firm.
