It was supposed to be an amicable divorce initiated by my ex-wife. It became clear that she wanted to set the financial terms based on what she thought was right. David was always calm and took some of the emotional elements out of the mix and focused me on the real terms. He was nonetheless a good listener and showed empathy while guiding me through the legal process.
He shared with me some of facts he would have presented to a judge had the amicable process gone awry. But all in all David worked hard at moving a difficult process through to its conclusion with minimal acrimony.
If you are looking to grind an axe I don't think he is the guy for you!
Otherwise I would highly recommend him to anyone going through the inherently difficult and emotional challenging process of ending a union while minimizing the collateral damages. He will make the tough journey that much easier. He is really a good guy and a good attorney!

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Anthony. He made a very difficult situation manageable. He heard both sides of a long history and attempted to help move things forward in my divorce process. Anthony was open and upfront from day one. He offered us an understanding of the process and was clear about fees and costs from the very beginning. I have learned that mediation is not for everyone, but it is truly the better of options. Just as in many things in life, communication and negotiation can be key to success and that is what Anthony provides, opportunity to communicate, negotiate and settle in an amicable manner. As you can imagine, the legal matter comes with a huge frustration, a lot of stress and lots of unpleasant time. Sometimes, well most of the time, when we end up in this situation, we can be extremely rude and inpatient. Well, when it comes to hire someone to deal with your problems a lot of times lawyers just saying "ohh, well, don't be a silly jerk just sign it" however this approach is NOT acceptable, it is all about your life in a long time. I have been in that situation but i was lucky enough to find Deborah who isn't just helped me but also explained to me in very fine details all the implication of making one or other decision moving forward, she was so patient with me and helped me to make educated decision and not just a "whatever" approach. I'm so grateful that i have had such lawyer who helped me to deal with a craziness of our laws and next to nothing protection of me as a citizen. To conclude, if you are looking for a solution in your life, long term solution so Deborah A. Katz is your answer and great help. I would recommend her not just a 100% but 200% or even more.

I usually don't write reviews buy I felt compelled to share my experience with Steve. Now here's the thing I called at 5:30 pm on a Saturday and he answered! It was on a whim and im so happy that I found him and reached out. I explained my what I feel might be a "messy" situation trying to get divorced. He listened with no judgement and told me that I already seem to know what to do but let me help you if i can. He offered for me to fill out all my paperwork (because the court house lost my divorce paperwork SMH) and when I have it all in order to email him and he said he will not charge me for him to look it over. I have called a couple lawyers and no one ever offered me anything like this. I feel he really heard me and I am just so grateful that he answered my call. Going forward if I need to retain he is who I will be retaining. This man is very kind, humble and just a good guy. Thank you Steve you gave me my hope back that I lost for some time. I wish I could give more then 5 stars!

I rarely write online reviews, but i think it is critical in this instance, firstly, because I used Avvo in assisting with my legal selection and consumers need this data. So, I will be as honest as I can.
Attorney Zlochiver is principled. I found his service to be based upon fairness and seeking the best outcome within the limits of the law, and done with an un-excitable, stable spirit. This sometimes was a sticking point for us. My opponent was aggressive and angry, and I wanted more energy; wisely, Attorney Zlochiver did not return all of the flaming brands I requested of him. In the end, for better or worse, he tempered my anger and frustration with my case.
Attorney Zlochiver is responsive. He was always reachable by email and phone. Reasonable response times were always met.
In summary, if you are seeking retribution and revenge, I don't think you'll find satisfaction here. I occasionally felt as though we could have been more aggressive--going on the offensive vs. a defensive posture, but Steve knew it would have been a futile, mis-use of my fee and he was careful about fee utilization.

In searching for a family lawyer, I had three criteria:
1) A competent lawyer who is familiar with the presiding judge. It is important that the lawyer knows what the judge looks for in a case both in the court room and the filed documentation. He was able to advise of the proper strategy to get the best case scenario without having the situation spiral into a more contentious case.
2) An objective lawyer who has enough court-room experience to be realistic in assessing possible outcomes. Rather than simply being hopeful, he suggested contingencies for the most plausible decisions that the judge may make during the hearing.
3) An understanding lawyer who would work with my limited budget & time. Mr. Zlochiver took on my case knowing of my financial situation and worked into the late evening on new documentation in order to bolster my case the following morning.
Steven Zlochiver certainly does not comes to mind when you think of the typical ambulance-chasing lawyer. Not a shark. Not a clock watcher. Rather, someone you definitely want in your corner who is willing to relate to your circumstances.

Mr. Lukowiak is the best attorney out there. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate, but with a bull dog personality. He will fight for you till the end, no matter how difficult. I had the pleasure of working with him for a couple of years and he got me everything I wanted/deserved and more. Sometimes that is not the case for everyone but Mr. Lukowiak was determined to get me to the finish line. He took on my messy case mid-term after my prior attorney was not equipped to fight this battle. He fought hard with the evidence, stood up against my narcissitic ex husband, and made sure my voice was heard. I highly recommend Jim and his paralegal Margaret without hesitation. Because of them, I got my life back. I am finally thriving and no longer need to fear the unknown. I have already referred a friend and he is helping her as he helped me. I've had the pleasure to work with Jim over the past year in a custody dispute, that felt like it would never end. Jim is an amazing lawyer and fought for everything I asked for. Dad is no longer involved and we only had to appear in family court once. Where do I begin... I was so ready to give up on everything and just hand my son over to my ex-which I know/knew was the stupidest thing I could have ever done in my life. I was so exhausted by the lies, the taunting, the horrible comments etc. constantly being spewed at me by my ex. It was as if, I was fighting this unbeatable monster in and outside of court, I was ready to give up, even with me being a fighter-and never giving up easily anything!!! But, at that time, I was mentally drained. My family and friends kept saying, "hire a lawyer!" initially- I didn't want to, but I knew if I didn't- I could lose my son to my ex with all the lies he constantly told. So, I went on Google, and googled-child support lawyer....and James Lukowiak aka Jim "popped up"- like neon green lights. I decided to reach out to him for a consultation. While at the consultation it was nothing, but good vibes. Jim listened to every single detail during the consultation, and I finally felt like someone understood my dilemma...someone understood the monster I was facing and was willing to stick it out with me and help me through the most difficult situation in my life. Jim was by my side EVERY STEP OF THE WAY for the last 2 years, and I am so, so, so grateful for him and Meg ;-). Two years ago- I sat in the consultation with Jim and said, "I want full custody of my son and I want my ex to be exposed for the person he really is". I engaged this law firm for my divorce after Damian Turco assured me that he had and his firm had many lawyers with forensic financial accounting expertise. This turned out to be disingenuous. Damian passed the case to an associate, Amanda Gnau who was very inattentive to my case and failed to communicate with me as to updates on my case as she always had some excuse why it typically took her 2 or more weeks to call me back. The one time we were heard in court after a year of representation, Amanda misrepresented facts to the court and when I confronted her about it she stated” it won’t be an issue, she got so flustered by my husbands attorney that she misspoke”. Well it was an issue since my husband threatened to have me charged with perjury. I contacted Amanda to correct the record with the court and her response was that we had a breakdown in communication and she was going to withdraw from the case. I contacted Damien to take over the case or provide another attorney to which he replied that now that he is president of the MA Bar Assoc. he does not take cases and he wouldn’t provide another attorney out of 12 in his firm to take over the case. I have paid his firm $45,000 for them to withdraw 1 court day before my pre-trial conference. I have been abandoned , betrayed, and taken advantage of by this firm during a difficult time of going through a divorce after 30 years of marriage.

Michael Reinhardt is a fantastic attorney to whom I will be forever grateful. He is friendly, caring, capable and experienced. I messed up badly several year’s ago and was caught red-handed, in the act. I was arrested, jailed, and charged with a felony criminal offense that carried a mandatory minimum sentence of eighteen months imprisonment. The outcome - guilty - seemed inevitable, and I dreaded the consequences. Michael Reinhardt represented me during the many court appearances I had to make. Lisa Lippiello was a great choice for my high conflict custody case. She both protected my interests without hesitation AND knew when to compromise. She also explained my options at each juncture and explained why she thought one was best, but always made it clear she worked for me and would defer to my choice and work just as hard to make it happen. Also importantly, she was conscientious and upfront about the cost of her work, which I appreciated. Dena Dionne is the best lawyer I've ever met! She's refuses to drop a case. I parked in her parking space, and she asked me to move. I said don't worry about it, we'll move. This is Attorney Lundy’s mantra... and truer words cannot be spoken! I was in a very difficult divorce involving complicated finances and a business. I originally chose a local lawyer, thinking this would make it easier. However, after 1.25 years and a last-minute cancellation 10 minutes prior to our 4-way, I had enough! Our son lives with me now, Praise God.
My case was 4 years deep in family court at the time I started searching for another lawyer.
Sandy is knowledgeable and experienced in all the necessary areas to fight any family law case.
Sandy was dedicated, steadfast, and showed a great level of care for my situation. Sandy always had a back up plan, and able to formulate a plan if none existed given the rarity of my case. My case involved DOR, DCF, police reports, guardian ad -litem/psychologist.
My son had been frequently missing visits, Mother alleging issues of all types of child abuse, making multiple false claims to DCF. Also falsely claiming child support was not being paid. She constantly misled the court, refused to produce documents upon court order and lied to the court, even about where she lived; and then claimed she was not being served properly. She claimed to be living in poverty while driving a luxury vehicle and living in a luxury apartment building in downtown Boston. Despite 4 years of these ludicrous behaviors from the Mother, my voice alone in the court seemed to fall upon deaf ears, until I found Sandy. My case took many strange twists and turns with many ridiculous claims from Mother.
I did not see my son for almost two years. My son did not know he had a Father because of the psychological abuse he suffered.
Sandy was able to gain a voice in the courtroom, which could be heard by the judge, unlike myself. And, then things started to turn around.
We gained full legal and physical custody, and supervised parenting for Mom. My son can now get the psychological help he needs. Since being with me he has been able to learn to read/write and perform math, add/subtract, multiply, now learning division, none of which he could do prior to living with me.

I made a huge mistake not hiring attorney Donald Tye at the beginning when my divorce started. Foolishly I thought my now ex-husband would be a decent guy so I hired a local attorney, who seemed good enough to help write up a divorce agreement and that would be that. Well, that’s now how it played out. First of all, my ex became vicious, cruel and hateful in all matters every day, and the attorney I hired did NOTHING for almost 2 years! She didn’t return calls or emails, did not defend me, made numerous mistakes on filings and paperwork, and was absolutely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL not only to the other side, but to me also! We got sued for adverse possession and easement rights on or lake property. Adam took the case 4 years ago. Just before the pretrial he bailed out. We now have to find a replacement in a very short time and for an extremely high cost. He left us in a very bad situation. I don't believe he felt comfortable about litigation. His specialty seems to be land lord/ tenant issues. I believe he was out of his league taking our case.
